Featuring a fierce exterior design inspired by military weapons, the Cooler Master Storm Sniper computer case really gives you a look worth appreciating!
The Storm Sniper can accommodate massive storage, with five 5.25" and six 3.5" drive bays (five hidden and one external). 3 huge fans provide excellent cooling, including one 120mm rear fan, one 200mm blue LED top fan and one 200mm blue LED front fan. The multifunction central control panel easily controls LED on/off for tuning your lights and fan speed. The storm guard’s security locking bracket in the chassis protects your external devices and neatens the cables, and you can quickly upgrade and maintain your computer case with the Sniper’s screw-less design. It’s a great case for the do-it-yourselfer who needs a lot of flexibility!
Easy USB, IEEE 1394, e-SATA and audio connectivity is provided on the top I/O panel. While you want a case that both satisfied you with its appearance and performance, the Sniper is the best choice for you!

Cooler Master Sniper Case
- Pros: - Side panels feel very strong and are easy to remove and replace without wrestling.
- Front drive bay panels are very easy to remove and replace.
- Screw-less 5.25 drives with button to secure in place. Drive installation takes less than two seconds.
- Internal rubber mounted screw-less drive trays.
- Plenty of room within for giant gfx cards like geForce gtx. Side panel bulges give extra room for cabling or other accessories
- Cut-out on MB tray for bolt-on CPU cooler hardware.
- Infinite adjustment fan controller with daisy-chain molex for up to 4 fans.
- FRONT PORTS: 4 - USB, 1 - IEEE 1394, 1 - e-sata, HD audio
- Rubber feet w/ additional rubber mounts if desired
- Easy to lift by top "handles"
- Pre-installed fans are blue LED, and harness is supplied for two additional fans w/ LEDs.
- 4 liquid cooling ports. 2 pre-installed rubber grommets, 2 punchable with add-in rubber grommets included.
- Cons: - Ugly. But I liked that about it.
- NO FILTERS. None of the intakes vents have filters, removable or otherwise. This is a definite need. Minus 1 egg.
- No cover for upward-facing front ports! Dust contamination imminent. Minus one egg.
- Thumb screws for side panel removal are small-ish.
- Area for mounting PSU is shorter than it should be. My PSU (Zalman ZM850) overlaps by .5 inches, crowding the gap left for a bottom-mounted fan and making it impossible to install an internal bottom fan.
- Fan adjustment knob is gigantic, bordering on profane.
- Expansion slot removal mechanism feels flimsy and cheap and will need to be replaced after repeated use. If you frequently swap expansion cards, this is not the case for you.
- Unpainted interior
-
Manufacturer Response:Thank you for your feedback. All CM Storm Sniper cases have standard micro filters on all of the fan inlets including the front bezel, bay covers, and side mesh panel. If your case does not include these, please call customer support 888-624-5099 and we will gladly arrange a replacement.
Great Case
- Pros: -Sexy looking case
-fan controller w/ led control -dust filters -bubbled side panels for better cable management -good cooling and room for more
- Cons: -HD activity light is pretty bright for my liking
-difficult to remove top panel but easier (looser) after the first time -took a little time to figure out the connections for the fan controller
- Other Thoughts: For those who are confused about the fan controller not working: after about 5 minutes of staring at the connections, there's a 4-pin molex that is seperate from the others for the fan power, which is the power for the fan controller. Glad to help :)

Awesome
- Pros: Huge case! 4 fans, looks cool, sturdy.
- Cons: Took me forever to figure out how to get power to the fans, the male connector was hidden
- Other Thoughts: Could of had better instructions, so I give it 4 eggs. Also no damage to anything, as I see other reviews did, but nothing on mine.
Great case
- Pros: Pros: Big (bigger than it looks), Cool, Quiet, Feature rich, Tool-less design, Easy to work with, better looking in person than she looked online.
- Cons: Cons: Fan wiring, Packing.
1) Packing: I've yet to receive a case that wasn't damaged in shipping or broken somehow. Still waiting for the snapped off foot from CoolerMaster. Managed to superglue it back together for a temporary fix.
2) Wiring. This is a somewhat complicated wire-job as I'm sure you may have read elsewhere. The fans were wired wrong and after a couple hours googling I realized I had everything set up right, so I was ready to RMA. Then I thought I'd try one last thing. There is only ONE free MALE molex here to plug into the PSU and only one fan worked out of four, so I unplugged that male molex for the fan that worked and plugged it into the PSU and finally all the fans worked. So simple, yet something that was overlooked, the wrong male molex was hooked up to the 4 female daisy chain setup. If you try wiring this case, you'll see what I mean.
- Other Thoughts: This is the best case I've worked with. I'm glad I spent a little more to get this one. It's extremely quiet compared to other cases I've worked with. Not silent, but very good. The 200 mm fans spin slow and quietly and move a lot of air. It cools well and overall it meets expectations.
ROOM! There is so much space in here for a mid-sized case. I fit a 5870 and a monster Scythe Mugen heatsink with no problem. All wires route behind the motherboard easily for a nice clean look. Kind of wish there was a clear side door to admire my work...
Features: The fan control, 4 usb ports, front eSata and carrying handles all make this a very nice case. I can even see my LED motherboard display through the wire-mesh side door.
I read in other reviews (maybe not at Newegg, I can't remember) that the side fan doesn't come with this case, but mine did. My I7 920 runs at 28-32 C.
Overall: Best case I've ever worked with. I absolutely recommend it.
Excellent Case..............
- Pros: This is a large case, I would call it full tower. Tons of room and cooling. It can even fit a fairly tall CPU Cooler which did have me worried.
The fans are awesome and the wiring is easy to figure out. Those big Molex connectors suck though. They ruin the appearance of the cable runs.
- Cons: None.
