4 out of 5 eggsGreat case for the money

Pros: decent cable management
the blue LED is always a nice touch
plenty of room
the side panel window looks good as well

Cons: no exhaust fan

Other Thoughts: I bought this case for a budget build. was putting together an APU system for a friend for general purpose..emails and what not. got this case on sale for $35 a month or so ago and when I got it out of the box to really take a look at it , I was blown away with all you received for a measly $35!

plenty of tooless bays, a nice intake fan in front, plenty of room for extra fans if you wanted to add more, and a huge amount of space if you wanted to add in a video card of decent size.

The only reason why I took one egg off is due to it being shipped with the lack of a rear exhaust fan. I know this is a budget case, but I think CM could afford one more fan in back. bought one from a buddy's shop and it works like a charm.

Overall very satisfied with the case! will be buying another if I have a request for another budget rig!!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Beginner Case

Pros: Its a great case for either a budget or beginners build. Comes with a 120mm Blue led fan which is cool, plenty of PCI expansion slots, and also a very roomy case for GPU's and such.

Cons: Expansion slots are one use only, no true cable management.

Other Thoughts: Overall for the money its an awesome case

4 out of 5 eggsCooler Master Elite 430

Pros: What a great little case for cheap,A really good quality case for cheap, it has plenty of room for even the largest video card.

Cons: There is now bad things to say about this case, at under 50$ and the quality, I can not think of any as of right now.

Other Thoughts: I usually get this for customer builds, because of the clear side window and the good quality and low price.

4 out of 5 eggsGood internal spacings

Pros: The motherboard tray's front-edge is cut-and-curled for a strong supportive edge. Since the tray is a separate piece, it's easy to view and access all SATA 'pedestal' connectors' from the top or the under-side. The drive-bays are still a fraction too close to the motherboard to allow easy clearance if all drive-bays are used. BUT if the builder doesn't remove all slack from the front-panel cables (USB and Audio Cables), then the front bezel is easily popped off and all drive-maintenance can be performed from the front. VERY nic.

Cons: The distance from the top edge of the installed motherbaord to the upper fan openings is too small for normal case fans. The half-thickness Scythe Narrows fit, but it's difficult to pop out the RAM handles because of this too-small space.

Other Thoughts: If this case was an inch deeper, then all drive maintenance could have been performed (removing drives, inserting new or additional ones) easily. If the case's 'ceiling' was a half-inch higher away from the top edge of an installed motherboard, standard case-fans could be used AND RAM handle-clearance would be easy.

This has good clearance between multiple hard-drives. Load this up with 5 or even 7 HDDs, and there is decent gaps for front-fan airflow.

3 out of 5 eggsjust ok...

Pros: 5 x 120 fan slots. good room for expansion. PSU slot on the bottom if you like that design,

Cons: No front panel USB 3.0, abysmal cord management, a tad flimsy overall, Motherboard standoff screw holes delicate(soft sheet metal)

Other Thoughts: This is a old model so I can understand the lack of USB 3.0 panels, build quality is as your expect for cases around these prices, but the cord management or lack of thereof is inexcusable

3 out of 5 eggsNot a bad buget case, but you will want to upgrade.

Pros: -The case is acceptable for ~$60
-It is a decent starter case
-reliable(ish)
-Big, clear window
-Secure rubber feet
-Painted black interior

Cons: -Flimsy plastic/paneling
-Only one intake fan, nothing else
-No cable management area
-Cheap/flimsy buttons
-No proper dust filters, just plastic mesh with no frame

Other Thoughts: -Why did CM go through the effort of making a windowed side panel and painting the inside to show off your build when all you'll see is an ugly spaghetti mess of cables in your case?
-For another 10-20 dollars you could get a case that would leave the Elite 430 in the dust.
-Complaints aside, it does make an OK beginner case or case for a budget build.
