COOLER MASTER Centurion 5 II Black Steel / Aluminum / Plastic Computer Case

Pros: Very solid build, made of heavy weight steel and well designed.

Tool-less 3.5" and 5.25" drives, which secure drives sufficiently.

Bottom mount psu is nice.

Cons: Not so much this case's issue, but because the PSU is bottom mounted the CPU power line was not long enough on my PSU to be routed properly, and barely long enough to reach.

Also, the front audio connector on this case is fairly short, but that wouldnt be a problem for most motherboards.

Pros: Well made. Alot of room to put power cables, I/O cables out of sight behind the motherboard. gives the option of mounting the PSU to take in air from inside the case or from outside the case. Fans are nice and quiet (speeds are controlled via motherboard in my situation).

Cons: Newegg doesn't sell a model which does not include a spot for a fan on the window. Makes those filters in the front kinda useless unless you buy a separate filter for that.

Pros: Nice airflow, nice cable management if you take out the time, decent space, enough for my hyper 212+.

Cons: led button on front doesn't work so well for me.

Other Thoughts: nice case overall.

Pros: This case is very sleek, easy on the eyes, and competitively priced. Enough area to hold all my HDDs and some wiggle room for my Hyper 212 Plus and Radeon 5770.

Cons: The entire installation was a pain. I've done more than a few builds, and the multi-paged instruction "diagram" had to accessed more than a few times. Vague descriptions and lackluster drawings ultimately trapped one of my HDDs in an pseudo-deathgrip. That lesson cost me $50, but I guess it's my fault that I assumed all cases fit HDDs the same way, when this one actually has you taking off the motherboard side of the case and sliding them in that way, when everything else is installed with the other side off, that just seems counter-productive. I'm not disappointed, but it now appears that I'm going to have to CUT my HDD out of the case. Not only all of that, but the placement of the wires coming from the front panel are near-permanent, as the tie that hold the three or four wires together was pulled very tight and leaves no room to cut them free. Thanks to this, I can't use the front-panel audio. You can do better, Cooler Master.

Pros: Good for a budget build

Cons: Not a lot of wiggle room after the power supply is is installed

Pros: Has a good amount of drive bays. Excellent ventilation with x5 120mm fans. Full size video cards still fit in this case even with X-fire. I like the size though because there isn't a lot of empty room left over. With good cable management this case can go a long way!

Cons: If you replace the stock front 140mm fan, it will render the front third button on the case useless, as it controls the fan LED.

Other Thoughts: With the Corsair H50 CPU Cooler, there is pretty much only one good place to mount it, which is in the top rear, but it still fits perfectly.

Pros: this case is awesome love the top drive quick connect. The HDD bracks are cool. Like how much air flow this case has and that the front panel just pops off when needed.

Cons: cable manegment is kinda hard if the ps cables are short and if monted so fan is pointing down the mesh will vibrate and get kinda anoying but fliping the ps fixed it or tape the mesh down .

Other Thoughts: The front fan led on off buttin is right next to the restart one so you might hit the wrong one if not looking at it .

Pros: Awesome setup.

Cons: Realized that I like top supply more.

Pros: Great Case and cant beat the price.
Has a high quality build to it, fans are decent.

Cons: nothing to note

Other Thoughts: Will buy again.

Pros: Great Case, even better than the first Centurion.

BTX is awesome. I had a Centurion I before this with a P4 and it would get hot on the top of the case where the PSU is. P4 is hotter in general, but I fried 3 PSU's due to the heat they were taking. (At least that's what I can come up with.)

This case feels almost cold on top. Thank you BTX.

Cons: The 3.5" drive bays are sideways now, I wish they were setup the same as the first version.
