5 out of 5 eggsBig and roomy

Pros: Well thought out lay out. First case that I have noticed or has the locations listed for the motherboard standoff screws for Micro ATX, eATX and so forth. 6 3.5 inch drive space – 6, with 120mm fan mounts. Two additional 3.5 inch HDD mounts are accessible from a hot swap trey on the front of the case. I mounted the SSD behind the motherboard and mounted 4 HDD’s. The case comes with 1 200mm fan on the top, 1 200mm fan in the front, and 1 140mm fan in the rear.

Cons: Pretty heavy case if you want to move it around. Once it’s loaded up with HDD’s, Video cards and power supply it will be around 120 pounds. On / Off button – although it works just fine has a seriously cheap feeling to it. The removable hot swap treys have a seriously cheap feeling too – definitely not meant to be hot-swapped on a daily basis.

Other Thoughts: Great case, I really like it. Internal layout, location of cable pass through holes and optimal air flow was really well thought out. Has some drawbacks mainly with the cheap, chintzy feeling you get from some components, but that’s not a reason to avoid this case. I looked hard at a Corsair 450d but just could not justify the huge difference in price (around 50-100 dollars depending on where you look). You can put a water cooling radiator in this case with no issues. The radiator mounts on the top (under plastic cover) and the fans mount below. This can create some space issues for people – I can see how it could get tight depending on how thick your fans are.

Left (removable) door can take 1 200mm fan, or 2 140mm fans

HDD Cage can take 2 120mm fans

Top can take 2 200mm fans, a 240/280mm radiator and 2 120mm fans (Cooler master Glacier 240L or CM Seidon 240M, Cooler Master Nepton 280L or Corsair H110 240/280mm), or just 2 140mm fans.

Front fan can take 1 200mm fan (included) or 2 120mm fans.

4 out of 5 eggsBehemoth and a half

Pros: Size - This case is massive, almost to the point where adding an inch or so to the height would make it a full tower. While some could see this as a con, I see it as a major pro. The motherboard sits low enough to install a push/pull rad system on the top. It might be a tight fit, but you won't see that kind of option on any other mid size tower on the market. I would however recommend using slim profile fans if you are going for a something like that.
Material - This case is very solid. The steel and high quality plastic. I have removed the top and front bezel of the case many times and have never once felt like they would break or bow in any way.
Cable Management - The side panels are wide and offer over an inch of space behind the motherboard panel.

Cons: Maybe it's just me? - The top 200mm fan was spinning very slowly (to the point where I could watch and follow the blades with my eyes) while it was plugged into my motherboard. I switched it to a direct connection to my power supply and it spun up to full speed. I would like the option of plugging it into the provided motherboard header but that seems like an impossibility. Oh well, not going go ruin my day.

Other Thoughts: I haven't had any problems with my case, just the one fan. 5 eggs means perfect, and I would love to say this case is perfect; but it isn't, not in my case at least (ignore the pun). I would like to add that the back panel brackets are factory tightened to an insane degree. You will need to loosen them with a screwdriver before removing them, despite them being thumb screws. That isn't a con, just something to keep in mind.

4 out of 5 eggsNice budget case

Pros: -Good price
-Roomy as heck, plenty of watercooling options and well as big graphics card and cpu cooler support.
-Solid build quality
-comes with three fans
-Hot swap docks
-all black inside

Cons: -motherboard standoffs are not pre-installed, this is not a major issue, just pointing it out
-not easily accessible psu fan filter
-won't build the system itself!

Other Thoughts: I got this case for an upgrade to the z97 chipset. I put in an 11.5 inch graphics card and it fits no problem. 160mm tall cpu cooler fits perfectly. Overall this is a very solid case for those who don't want to go into debt.

1 out of 5 eggsCooler Master HAF XM

Pros: Great case. Plenty of room. a lot of air flow. Great for the cost

Cons: Out of the box when i unscrewed the top the plastic that you screw in broke off. So now my top just sits their un able to be screw in. Box shipped very beat up and i hear like a peice of plastic inside rattling around. I would Rma but i would not have a case or a pc the entire time i RMA it so its not worth the time.

Other Thoughts: great case just dissapointed a got broken parts on this one

4 out of 5 eggsBigger than other mid-tower case

Pros: Every thing is great if you don't use liquid cooling system !

Cons: MB space just too close to top . There is no enough space for a 240mm radiator , I have to take the 200MM fan on the top away and set my radiator there .

5 out of 5 eggsSTILL THE BEST

Pros: case has been able to beat this one for 140mm fan placement options. The beauty of 140mm fans is more airflow and less noise.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: If you love 140mm fans like I do then this is the case for you!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat quality case for the money!

Pros: Fantastic air flow and cable management. Case came with two 200mm fans (top and front). The large fans are extremly quit. I added two more 200mm fans and it's still super quit. Also the middle drive area can be removed for a giant GPU or better air flow. Two front USB's are connected internally.. Great looking case.

Cons: Not much in the way of cons. Maybe more like some warnings:
Case is large. Pushing a full tower size. Make sure you have room where you plan to put it. The power connectors need to be long enough to reach the motherboard. Because the case is large, it can be a long run from the PSU to the connection (may need an extention).

Other Thoughts: This case was used for a "first build" and could not have gotten a better case!

5 out of 5 eggsA great case two years later.

Pros: Excellent design with ample room for long graphics cards. Red LEDs on front intake fan with on/off button on top of the I/O chassis. Black interior looks neat and clean. Dust filters!

Cons: A bit more plastic than the HAF 922 that it replaces (though it's not a con for me).

Other Thoughts: With support for EATX motherboards this is the case to buy if you're looking for an inexpensive but sturdy chassis.

Cooler Master's HAF XM is super mid-tower case that includes dust filters and the option to add second exhaust up top but there is a caveat: you must rotate the fan about a quarter inch to slide the top bezel back in place after installing it. Aside from that there enough grommetted holes for through which all cables can be routed for good airflow and aesthetics. All in all it's a great case and will provide a solid foundation almost any build.
