2 out of 5 eggsNO WAY

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: Everything But....... (see cons)

Cons: 2 STAR because my issue is a big deal.
The back card slots are not wide enough to use the displayport without grinding off about 1/8". Or you could just plug it in and have the connector grounded to the case. What a numbskull engineering mis-step. Oh I'm using the 780ti sc x3

Manufacturer Response:

Good Afternoon Jeffrey,

I apologize you're having issues with the CM Storm Stryker as this is odd as we have seen quad sli and fire in this case with reference and aftermarket GPU coolers. Can you provide an image of your set up through our CM Fanzone via Live Chat, Support Ticket, and Phones for further assistance.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: This case is fantastic! I upgraded from a mid tower case and boy am I glad I did! Lots of room for hard drives, lots of room for air to flow. Cable management options are extensive. Build quality is superb - no matter how many cables you stuff behind the back of the motherboard, the side panel slides on with ease and stays on. This was always a problem with my old case. Extra space there too, which helps.

This thing looks awesome. I mean it looks killer awesome. Seriously. Some reviewer was saying the color is slightly different between the front/sides.... it's not, I assure you. I've inspected it closely, and I can't see it at all.

Cons: The front panel/HDD activity lights don't work on mine. It's not enough of a problem for me so I'm not knocking an egg off, but it is worth mentioning.

Only other con is it's not a 3d sandwich printer.

4 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: Huge amount of space
Air circulation is outstanding

Cons: Unable to hook up the fan speed adjuster buttons to the motherboard. All the fans still work, though just fine.

Other Thoughts: Only 4 because the install instructions are garbage. If you have some savy or mechanical ingenuity you'll be ok.

5 out of 5 eggsamazing tower

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: This was my first build ever and i had no problems at all(just watched a few youtube videos and did my research beforehand) the manual did tell you much but showed you. its a beautiful case with more than enough airflow( i still stuck a few jetflows in it) and looks amazing it also has plenty of space for everything. i even stuck the nepton 280l in the top( just removed the big top exaust fan out)
build:
cpu: Intel Core i7-5930K Haswell-E 6-Core 3.5GHz
mobo: ASRock Fatal1ty X99X Killer
ram:ADATA XPG Z1 32GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2133

4 out of 5 eggsAmazing case with little issues

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: This thing really is HUGE. You will be able to fit anything you can think of in there. I just built my buddy his first PC and i used this case with an h100i cooler, a big ole MSI 980.

Comes with silent fans!
Durable Metal and rugged feel
Never ending cable management options
Custom Watercooling friendly
Can arrange fans in many ways to get air flow going even in the serious builds

After building this PC i realize i need this case for myself. I will be buying one soon hopefully, even my wife loved the white one. I would prefer the black with some red fans but thats just me!

Cons: I had a couple issues with this model. I dont know if it was a quality control thing, inspection or what happened but when i opened it up and went to pop the top cover off, the front pop tabs actually pulled the metal up bent on both sides. It was a serious pain in the neck to take it off!

Next issue would be with locating the Lettered Holes for the Motherboard Stand Off Screws. I knew where the ATX is, but when teaching someone it was very hard to explain the different types of set up. I dont know if this is just on the White Edition, but even the little chart etched in the case was very hard to read. I dont know if they dont go deep enough or what but something should be done. Knocked one Egg off for the product do to these. Your paying top dollar for a case shouldnt have these issues. Just being honest.

Other Thoughts: All in all i would recommend this case to any and everyone who is thinking about doing it. This is a case where when you upgrade you get a case to put your old parts in. Its worth the re working to me. So much room, so much cable management, tie off points everywhere. Amazing design with the top and dust covers are awesome. This would be the case you buy and keep for a long, long time.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat until it's not

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: Love the style
Love the size

Cons: Longevity

Other Thoughts: All the fans and lights connected to the I/O crapped out one by one. There was a brief period of time where they would work off and on, but now they are 100% done. Case is far too expensive for such shoddy parts. I've seen several reviews with the exact same problem so it isn't an anomaly.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsPromising

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: -This is a large case that will fit many configurations inside
-Good airflow with quiet fans
-The white Is a sharp look
-Study carrying handle, but not exactly mobile. However this is a desktop form factor
-Air inlets have sturdy screens to help keep the inside clean
-This was my 5th build and overall fairly smooth. This case played a part in that.
-The PSU mounting area is well designed
-The ability to route wires out of the way between the back of the case’s interior and inside of the exterior wall is a big plus

Cons: Listed in order I found them
-The motherboard stands are difficult to screw into place. I used a socket driver.
-Documentation is sparse. This is like a legos kit that skips a few steps. As I said this is my 5th build so I figured it out.

Other Thoughts: My recommendation to Coolermaster is twofold:

First invest in a paint post process of adding pop-nuts into place of the burr holes for the stands to easily screw into. By post process I mean after you paint the case. These will allow the stands to easily screw into place. Second please expand on your install documentation.

Overall I am very happy with this case and will gladly recommend it to friends/family.

1 out of 5 eggsCase is fine Customer support is horrible

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: The Case is nice and all hardware seemed to fit together real good. Craftsmanship on the Case is superb no problems there.

Cons: After a few minutes one of the white Case Fans failed but that was no big deal, or so I taught! I requested a replacement fan and had the OK in a matter of a day. They had approved the replacement fan.
Here is the kicker and the reason for a single egg, the best case in the whole world is useless without good support to go along with it. I have read many reviews saying that there support was good. Well, all I can say is best of luck to you! Cause I'm still waiting for my Fan as of this writing and the bad part is that the fan that failed happened to be the one in front of my standard HDD's so in the mean time I am using a green fan out of one of my other cases.

Other Thoughts: It is a shame that it is taking that long to replace a fan in a new case. I am a e-b** power seller and have never ever taken that long to ship an item! It would not be so bad if they had some kind of messaging system that sends something like "hey we're sorry this is taking so long but we have not forgotten about you".

Manufacturer Response:

Dear customer,

We sincerely apologize for the trouble you had. We would like to make this right. Would you be able to contact us so we can follow up on your request and rectify the situation?

Respectfully,

CMUSA Support.

4 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: A lot of space, can easily work around it. Fan speed adjustment is great.

Cons: 200mm fan on the top started stuttering after 2 weeks of usage, will have to buy a new one.

5 out of 5 eggsDemanding presence in the room

This review is from: CM Storm Stryker - White Full Tower Gaming Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock

Pros: Beautiful detail, auto paint like case with black mesh accents for the fan grills. Carry handle riveted directly to the frame and feels solid. Generous side panel cutout to view your components. Fan inputs and outputs have mesh screens to keep dust and pet fur out.

PLENTY of interior room to mount a Corsair H100i and water cooler for R9 295x2.

PLENTY of room and access points for cable routing.

Plenty of drive bays for standard hard disks and 4 slots for SSD drives. Plus an external slot for an SSD drive.

Interior painted to mach the exterior.

Built in fan controller with low, medium, and high speed settings. Plus fan lighting for on/off.

Airflow. Lots of it. Dedicated inlets and outlets for airflow.

Options to mount water cooling on the top or bottom of the case.

Simply demands your gaze either on the floor or on your desk.

Cons: Interior paint interferes with motherboard standoff mounts. Need to use a wrench or pliers to install the standoff mounts.

Lower "radiator mount" used by SSD drives. Best to remove the upper case fan and install your radiator there.

Fan controller documentation basically non-existent. Spent 45 minutes troubleshooting HDD bay fans.

Other Thoughts: The cons aside, which I don't have many, this is the best case for your money if you want water cooling. Either closed loop for bot GPU and CPU, or your own custom water cooling.

Space is NOT at a premium in this case. Even with all the cables, twin closed loop water coolers, and cable routing options it looks as though you could sleep in the case. Very well designed and built for both the beginner and advanced PC builder.

Still the lack of full documentation for the fan controller is a bit bothersome. But mild compared to what the completed PC build actually looks like.

With 7 drives stuffed in this case it doesn't look crowded on the inside, and looks great with a DVD drive installed. I can't fault the design of this case for anything. Aside from the paint in the motherboard standoff screw holes...
