4 out of 5 eggsA High Tower Is Still The Best

Pros: Nice aesthetics, Nice Fan Setup, Solid Construction, Plenty of Wire Management Options

Cons: Lack of Access to the Lower Half

Other Thoughts: Wanted something a little different, but different isn't always better. You get excellent access to the top half where the motherboard sits, but if you need access to the bottom half where all the power cords originate you're in trouble because it will require you to unplug the board and remove the input cards because the only way to completely and properly access the lower half is by removing the motherboard. The nice thing about a standard ATX high tower is you have access to all the parts by removing just the side doors. I also lost out on using my 3.5” external multi-card reader because the two 3.5” X-DOCK SLOTS are only good for hard drives. It would have been nice if those external bays could be used for other 3.5” devices. I also bought a 200mm fan for the top but my Xigmatek Thor’s Hammer CPU heatsink is so tall that it forced me to mount it outside the case. I really wanted the fan for further cooling and it was not worth returning so I rigged it to work from outside. If you have a close loop CPU water cooler you probably won’t run into this problem.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice case

Pros: A great case to work with, the removable mobo tray is a great feature that is well implemented. The case has lots of free airflow, and with the addition of a 200mm top fan, it keeps my pc much cooler than its last case. Its attractive looking too. The front panel inevitably attracts dust, but it actually brings out the hex pattern on the front in an interesting and not bad way. You'll see what I mean.

Cons: Only comes with front fans. I don't feel like having just those is nearly adequate. Adding rear fans might be good, but I just attached a 200mm top exhaust fan, and it seems to work really well. It's also not a small case, but that is a pro as well, because it makes it very easy to work with.

Other Thoughts: several otherwise positive reviews from different tech blogs agree that this otherwise awesome case should come with at least 1 more fan. If you're purchasing, you should probably consider just buying one or two with this case.

5 out of 5 eggsAbsolutely awesome!

Pros: Less than 14 inches, which I needed.
Supports 240mm H100 water cooler.
Handle slots built into the side panels for easy removal.
HDD Hot Bays in front (not sure if hot swappable?)
Price just right. (I even got an extra $10 mail-in rebate)
Huge feet, so it fit on my short 14 inch shelf.
PSU has fresh air intake from bottom of case and has an easy access filter, well other than it's on the rear of the unit.

Cons: Not sure there are any. It would have been nice if the top 200mm fan was included, but not a big deal for the price of this case.

I don't like that the PSU bracket sticks out. Luckily my rack was steel and had two steel bars for rear backing, otherwise it would have hit a wooden back and made the unit stick out a bit farther than it already does. The feet are half catching as it is. You may look for a 90 degree power cord for your PSU to give you added room as a straight plug will take up even more room on short shelves.

Other Thoughts: I was looking for a huge case with low profile. I seen this was a bench-top capable unit. Not really a true Benchtop. They usually get a full open top for easy access, but this is semi-convertible. Kind of like a T-Top convertible roof on a car. But it is open enough to breathe very well if you like to hot rod your unit.

It would have been nice to have the front mesh over the front fans. The mesh is folded over and have the holes like the side panel has behind the mesh. I had to mount the fans in reverse so it blows air out of the front of the case so I can easily access the radiator for cleaning without removing anything.

Hopefully they can make the top half come off completely in the future and screw less for a true bench-top hybrid case.

5 out of 5 eggsThis is the best case for anyone not restricted to size.

Pros: HUGE Case, plenty of room to add parts and a amazing hot swap 2 bay hard drive enclosure makes for the ultimate computer case. Can be opened from one to three sides on the fly and has tie downs from front to back to make for some very creative and easy to plan wiring. I can't say it enough, this case puts away any issues and it's flat black styling makes it easy to just put on a table next to my Television without sticking out like a sore thumb! Well ventilated and easy to set up fans as you see fit.

Cons: Very large, if you suffer from needing small computer to fit in a tiny space this is not the case for you. It's easily as big as two mid towers stacked on top of each other's sides.

Other Thoughts: If it came with fittings to close off or seal some of the periphery venting then it would be perfect. The only thing it's missing is the ability to seal the case and force airflow in a specific direction or volume. Not a deal breaker by far.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Nice case, well made and easy to work in. The removable MB tray is a very nice touch. This case is large, do not be fooled by the pictures, but I knew this before purchase.

Cons: Not really a con, but a thought. My CPU cooler is a Coolermaster 212 EVO. It fits well in the case, but you can forget installing Coolermasters 200M top fan with this CPU cooler. It will not fit. There are other fan brands that have a lower profile, you will have to do a G00gle search to get that info though.

Other Thoughts: Asus Sabertooth Z77
i7-3770K OC'ed to 4.2
16G of G.Skill Sniper (1600)
Asus GTX 660 Ti - tops
Samsung 840 Pro SSD
Corsair 850AX PSU
Coolermaster HAF XB case

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Case

Pros: Sturdy build quality. X-Docks are nice, everything clicks into place solidly. Removeable motherboard tray is great, and the plastic bezels are well-seated. It's an aesthetically pleasing case, althought that is subjective.

Cons: During factory assembly some of the thumb screws were forced in, causing some of the threads to shave. They aren't completely stripped but it makes hand-tightening an issue.

Other Thoughts: Would buy again. Wish it would have included zip ties, but those are pretty cheap (comes with some twist ties).

5 out of 5 eggsBest Horizontal case ever!!!!!!

Pros: Pros Lets see everything i have built at least 6 or 7 computers using this case and never have a issue with fitment except when trying to do a custom liquid cooled system but we all have issues with those. mobo tray perfect for everything from inel to amd to asus and asrock boards graphics cards from gtx640 to a titan little work needed for titan but overall i would own one of these cases but still in love with my mountain mods case.

Cons: The fans that come with the case not the best but none of my customers have complained

Other Thoughts: Harddrive cages are easy to move and easy to install and remove drives plenty of drive options
