5 out of 5 eggsThis box is amazing

Pros: So I bought this case back in 2013 during the Cyber week after Thanksgiving. It's been gathered about a years worth of dust because I was too lazy to buy the remaining parts for a new gaming computer. I finally got around to it this week and I'm glad I did. This was the easiest build I've done, mainly because of the well thought out nature of the case. It looks a little weird, but I enjoy the cube shape better than the traditional tower. I'll just list what I liked the most:
1) Almost everything about this case is removable/customizable
2) Tons of space
3) Tie down locations
4) Includes a SDD mounting bracket(I didn't notice this when I bought it so it was like a little present when I opened the box)
5) Motherboard tray is removable (I list this here separately from #1 because its unique to any other cases I've seen)

Great purchase, totally worth the extra 30-40 bucks to go from a decent tower case to this.

Cons: The user guide is informative but don't expect detailed explanations, also the removable drive slots aren't covered at all. If you are confused just plug the little power cord in to your PSU (directly opposite the power supply mount in the bottom level) and plug in the SATA connections to your mobo...boom, you now have removable internal drive bays.

Other Thoughts: Merry Christmas to me

4 out of 5 eggsHuge

Pros: Case came very well packaged. Kudos to Cooler Master and Newegg.

All parts are accounted for.

Played with the screws and the motherboard tray, and the harddrive bay slots. All operated with ease. T

he texture of the case feels sturdy and all side panels come off with ease and slip back on with ease.

The case looks like it could efficiently support a 110mm to 120mm heatsync and fan combo, I went ahead and purchased a 92mm just in case (Cooler Master d92 model also supplied by newegg.

I would recommend this case to anyone who is looking for something portable, it only weighs 18 pounds without parts inside of it.

Case starts off with 2 stand offs on the motherboard tray, there is an extra box under the motherboard tray that supplies the rest of these standoffs in a ziplock bag and there are some brackets to mount the dvd/cd/blue-ray drives, all came neatly packaged, i was very impressed.

Cons: I did not like the way the hard drive slots felt themselves. They feel "slightly" flimsy and its almost like they are made of plastic. If one takes care of these bays and does not get tanked from tasty eggnog, you should be fine. I'm sure the manufacturer would have "spare" hard drive slots if these were to "accidentally" break on you.

Other Thoughts: I'm going to enjoy being able to take this case around to lan parties and other occasions. Again, if you are looking for something different then I would recommend this case.

This case is also very HIGH AIR FLOW friendly and is not misleading. If you take a look at the specs and the manufacturer's website you will see that it comes with the 120mm twin fans on the front to suck air inside of it.

There are 2 80mm slots in the back for exahust, so I picked up some M@$$C00L fans. These jokers will let the heat out of where the hard drive bays are

There is 1 120mm slot in the back of the case for exhaust right behind the motherboard, which allows for 120mm radiators and/or a 120mm fan.

last but not least there is the top huge 200mm fan. I went with Cooler Master on this one due to the reviews on their fans. This fan will exhaust air out of the top of the case and it does it "well".

Last but not least, keep in mind that if you do purchase this case, do your homework and research what other necessities that you need to find in order to optimize your airflow with this sucker...

You always get what you pay for.

4 out of 5 eggsHorizontal?

Pros: Need I say more!? Horizontal installation for motherboard and video-cards, Ever have video cards warp and sag from your typical vertical mount case? Not in this baby! treats your components to a snug and cozy horizontal installation to remove that stress caused buy our dear friend Gravity!

Great Cooling!
Fits Large Liquid Coolers
USB 3.0
Unique Design

Cons: Requires more desk space and doesn't fit well under a desk, Also be aware that the Optional top fan (200mm) requires the Unique rectangular screw pattern and installing one eats away at space for a Air-Cooled heatsync... Could not fit Hyper 212 Evo (159mm) heatsync with 200mm Fan (~25mm thick) Highly recommend alternate cooling solution such as liquid cooling if you expect to use the 200mm top fan. (or a cooler sub 150mm tall)

Other Thoughts: Bought it for the Horizontal form factor which provides fantastic support for video cards, Never have to worry about my $350 video cards sagging ever again.

4 out of 5 eggssuperior case

Pros: This is the greatest case I've had in almost 15 years of putting pc's together. It's a very workman-like case that is easy to work in, and it is a huge plus how easily the motherboard tray comes out. Superior gamer case.

Cons: The front drive cage is too close to the PSU. My Thermaltake PSU has fairly rigid modular cables and they press a bit on the circuit board for the front cage SATA connections. I've never had trouble with it, but I don't like it being that close...

5 out of 5 eggsCooler Master HAF XB EVO

Pros: nice looking case, plenty of room up top. option to use a 240mm or a 290mm rad where the two fans are up front. I know the website here or cooler master doesn't say this, but it's in the manual.

Cons: no hard drive cooling where the hot swap bays are, I guess that's why they are called HOT swap... LOL..

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Huge Case, Easy Access, keeps my system cool. Spot for my 120 radiator, and another for a 240 if you have one. Power supply mounts 1/3 out of case to reduce heat, comes with 2 front fans that are very quiet. Dropped my temps about 5C from an enclosed mid tower case. Makes it easy to install and remove extra drives.

Cons: I actually had to read the manual to get everything installed.

Other Thoughts: I like it, could use a mesh filter material throughout because its not an 'enclosed case' per sea. Just make sure theres positive pressure in the case to keep dust from leaking in. The two fans that are included do a pretty good job of that. Also because the case is soo large cable management can be a little taxing.

4 out of 5 eggsVery nice case

Pros: VERY modular, easy to access, easy motherboard placement, stupid easy drive installation - no screws for hard drives or optical drives

Cons: not a lot of space between power supply and drive bays. Wiring gets tricky even with relatively compact power supplies. Will not fit the large ones.

Other Thoughts: overall, good design. Probably would have benefitted from having the power supply stick out of the side though instead of right up against the back of the drive bays. Cabling gets tight in there.

5 out of 5 eggsRidiculous

Pros: I've had this case for a very long time, purchased it for an AM3 build. It's been through three platforms (AM3,AM3+,1150) and every time it is a breeze to change out parts thanks to the removable mobo tray.
Seriously, unhook your power cables, removed the screws, and lift the whole thing out of there. Cleaning is a breeze and this case stays COOL.
This thing is ROOMY. Fits my R9 290 Tri-X OC snugly. So almost anything will fit in this box.
2.5" HDD rack is pretty neat. I have a few older WD blues back there for data storage.
Construction is sturdy, over the years of ownership it looks the same as it did on day one.

Cons: The Hard drive bays were..interesting to deal with when I purchase my first SSD. However, the best way is to screw it directly to the bracket from the bottom section. Do not use trays/adapters, you don't need them.
Better-aligned cable routing holes for the bottom deck to the top would have been nice. Take your time when managing your cables and you'll be ok.

Won't knock off an egg for this, though.

Front filter is painful to get off sometimes without the right tools. Literally painful.

Other Thoughts: If you are an aesthetics person, do yourself a favor and order the plastic window top for this case. Cooler Master offers it directly from their site for a reasonable price. The mesh top panel worked well with a 200mm fan above, but my OCD kicked in and I wanted a cleaner look rather than "hovercraft"

I have to clean this case out more frequently than my other builds due to the open design, not necessarily a bad thing thanks to the removable tray.
