5 out of 5 eggsawesome case!!

Pros: this is my first cooler master case and man im amazed. ive owned mostly antec and thermaltake but i fell in the with the style of this case when i first saw it. it has great cable management great cooling options and lots of space

Cons: the only con i can come up with is the 2 usb 3.0 ports in the front i have a micro atx evga sli board and it doesn't have a port for that and im sure most people don't either so that wasn't a great idea on cooler masters part they should know most motherboards have 2 on the main board already

Other Thoughts: also i can confirm the hotswap xdock works just like others have said in the reviews just make sure you plug the molex connecter in the right way and you'll be good to go

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: This is a Great Case it houses everything that i need it to. It is a good solid well thought out case. One word of caution even though it is an easy build it does take more pre-planning than most cases before you proceed.

Cons: This isn't really a con as such I think the case could be better if it had a couple of front panel USB 2.0

Other Thoughts: If you plan to add something that requires access to the lower section most of the time you have to remove the motherboard fortunately this is an easy task as the motherboard is held in by 4 thumbscrews and isn't difficult at all.

5 out of 5 eggsMy Little Companion Cube - with Cake

Pros: IT IS PORTABLE, it is what you want to see from a portable LAN cube, take it to parties! It's built in such a way that... it's somehow... supposed... to be your best friend.

It's STURDY, there are reinforced handles with/without the side panels, you will love it.

Good cable management, make no mistake, everything's going to be a tight fit, from the SATA wires to the power cables and the front panel connects, it's going to be a compressed mess of jazz up in there. Once you get a good wrap on things, your cube will be a moving band of AWESOME. Stop the madness!

supports FULL ATX boards, plenty of room on the top section for giant zalman cpu coolers.

Tool-less 5.25 racks (ONLY TWO) Which work really well and the plastic tool-less thingamabobbers come off easily if you want to go with the classic now-I-need-a-tool 5.25 racks. So it's in a way stupid-proof.

Cons: NOT ENOUGH FAN SUPPORT. Think about it, you only have two slots of fans on the front and three slots on the rear, not what I'm used to, but I might have to get some more powerful fans to up the airflow. I bought a PCI expansion slot fan exhaust. So that's always an option, just 6-8 bucks for one.

I WISH that Cooler master would've provided some extra fan grills/filters to prevent all the wires from touching the two front fans, because they WILL, since it's such an enclosed space you have to pay attention to where the slacks in the wires are, because they WILL touch the fans and make that adorable little noise that tells you your wires are getting damaged.

The Hotswap thing is not well built, it does have a chance of destroying your HDDs BACK UP YOUR STUFF

This may not be a con for those with the fashion for color red, but I built this thing with the theme of blue lights and the front panel power LED is red by default, of course you can disconnect this from the motherboard. Just a note for those of you who want a blue lit case.

Other Thoughts: I recommend every one of you to buy a modular PSU with this case, I can't stress that enough. Regular PSUs will fit but honestly, there's not alot of real estate and you don't want the extra weight and cables (no matter how little those wires add up) when going from one party to the next.

4 out of 5 eggsHAF

Pros: Looks great. Nice air flow capability. Decent internal layout for components. Sides/top come off nicely. Solid construction.

Cons: Front face panel not friendly with 140mm fans mounted between it and the frame. Either takes some trimming of some plastic on the inside of the face panel or internal frame mounting.

Could use internal 3.5" drive mounts instead of 2.5". Large capacity SSD's aren't *that* affordable yet. And 2.5" HDD's in a desktop seems laughable.

Lower rear fan mounts are pretty small at 80mm. Causing more noise with the higher RPM small fans.

Included fans should be 140mm IMO. Seems like the cost difference for the manufacturer would be minimal (even retail price difference is minuscule or non-existent).

Nitpick: Front face panel could use a bit better attachment configuration for easier removal. Gets annoying quickly.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: It has decent airflow and the front mesh does well with dust control without sacrificing much. The removable tray makes working on the mobo and various other components a breeze and it has good cable management with plenty of room on all sides to run said cables and the graphics card blows out the side vent instead of into the case. What is not to love?

Cons: Nothing to report.

Other Thoughts: Some people complain about the X-dock smoking hard drives but I have not seen that in my case. Not sure if the failure is due to user error or faulty controllers. If you are worried about it just use a standard HDD with no valuable data to test it. If you are on the fence I would suggest you take the plunge.

5 out of 5 eggsHAF XB Square form factor case

Pros: This is the first case in a square form that holds a full ATX motherboard. The overall build quality is excellent. The case has 2 hot swap bays that will hold 3.5 or 2.5 drives. Has mounting for a 200mm top fan and a 120 rear fan. You can also park 6 SSDs inside this unit. For easy work inside this unit the motherboard tray is removable and everything is held together with thumb screws. The case comes with 2 120mm front fans that can be swapped out for 140mm fans if you want. Overall a great case.

Cons: If I am going to be picky I'd say for the price it would have been nice had they included the rear 120mm fan and it would also be nice if you had the choice to change the rear fan to a 140mm fan.

Other Thoughts: If you want to "hide" your computer within your TV stand this is the perfect case for just that. This case will even accept a 140 radiator with clearance for your graphics card. It looks good, has legendary HAF air flow and is just a great case all around. I would highly recommend this case to anyone wanting to remove that large tower in your living room.

5 out of 5 eggsReview follow-up

Pros: Excellent design. Very roomy. Sexy and keeps all my hardware cooler that I thought it would.

Cons: A little larger than the pics make it seem but not really a con. Fans could have been a little quiter. CM - you could have put in some 4-pin fans for PWA to tone down the noise. The always-on 3-pin front fans are 21dBm. Not terribly loud but could be a little quiter.

Other Thoughts: This is a follow-up to a previous review that I really bashed CM for. Two drives were killed on my initial setup. The X-DOC card that they attach to seemed to be the problem. I removed it and no more problems. I revisited it again later with a low-capacity el-cheapo throw away sata drive as a test. I realized what kills the drives. The molex power connector on the card is oriented upside-down. If you plug in the molex power connector wrong it will zap the drives. I think thats what I did. I am now using it with zero problems. CM - apologies for the rough bashing! You have an A-plus product here. WATCH THE POWER CONNECTOR ORIENTATION folks!! - peace

5 out of 5 eggsAwsome case

Pros: One of the best chassis I have ever owned. Space may be limited for some of the bigger components but for me everything fits perfectly with rooms to spare. Oh and the airflow....absolutely perfect, everything in my system is cool

Cons: Style may not be for everyone.

4 out of 5 eggsMasterpiece!

Pros: First it looks awesome!. Second pretty much has all thumb screws where needed so no need for tools when switching cards or anything of that matter.Keeps components super cool "lots of airflow:

Cons: Honestly after reading reviews about the "x-docks" I did not even give them a chance and simply removed them didn't test them so cant really say that they were bad.

Other Thoughts: This case is great for anyone who is constantly modding or adding to their computer. It's insanely easy to switch things out and there is tons of room for more.
