2 out of 5 eggsOverpriced, even for the name

Pros: Didn't catch fire

Cons: 2 Standoff holes were stripped
1 Standoff hole never tapped
No standoff holes for 3rd row for ATX motherboards, overhang is unacceptable in my book.

Other Thoughts: This case was for a inexpensive work station system, if power supply lasts then all is good enough. Case reminds me why i dislike building low end systems, it is such a nail bitter firing up cheap power supplies like this.

2 out of 5 eggsSolid Case

Pros: Well built case plenty of room and easy to manage a mid size build. Extra fan slots and a built in area for water cooler. The case would be almost worth the cost without the psu, see cons.

Cons: PSU died within an hour.

Other Thoughts: If they sell this case without a psu I would recommend it, but for the shipping cost and time to rma an entire case for a bad power supply it's not worth it's current price.

Manufacturer Response:

Good Afternoon Valued Customer,

I apologize your Force 500 Chassis is not working correctly as you can submit an RMA Request for the Power Supply through our CM Fanzone along with your purchase invoice and Serial Number. You can also exchange it through New Egg as long as you're within the 30 day return exchange policy.

Please let me know for further questions.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Well built Case. Everythings worked. Included plenty of hardware plus tie-downs. The power supply has an on-off switch... I like that. Ample space for upgrades. Power supply and case fan are quiet.

Cons: The power switch is a bit hard to see but I have lousy eyes.

4 out of 5 eggsBeautiful Bargain

Pros: * Good looking well built design for the price
* Very Quiet
* All Black Interior
* Easy turn locks for securing front bay drives
* Quality PSU
* Decent cable routing space
* Dust filters on front bays

Cons: * Only comes with a rear fan (no front, top, or side)
* No openings to mount any top fans
* The Expansion slot covers need to be bent off leaving a gaping hole in the back for dust to get in when you're no longer using that slot. (My OCD hates this!)
* My ATX board didn't reach the right-most mounting points leaving the right edge of the mobo unsupported and way too flexible. (Using an MSI 970A-G43)

Other Thoughts: Overall this is a great bargain if you are building a new system with basic specs. If you're going for a powerhouse gaming rig then I wouldn't rely on the 500W power supply to power multiple GPUs. But I built it on a AMD FX 6300 with an entry level GFX card for a family member that doesn't play any hardcore games.

It has some characteristics of cheaper cases like the expansion slot covers that you bend off. I seriously hate this as it permanently leaves a hole there. Unless you buy bay covers or use ones you have from another case.

The power supply is surprisingly quiet since it's Coolermaster's own PSU. The PC is virtually silent during normal use. Coolermaster is a very good company so you can rely on them. The all black interior is nice and the extra features like the quick locks for the drive bays is helpful. I was able to do some basic cable routing for a nice clean build as well.

Overall I am pleased and I would recommend this to anyone building a entry level to mid level media & web consumption desktop PC.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case and Very Quiet

Pros: I was looking for a low cost case and power supply with good quality and quiet fans for a recent build. Bought one of these and I was very pleased with it. The power supply fan and the included case fan are extremely quiet. My Asus Z87-A with i7 fit great and wired up fine. Nothing was blocked and I could easily get to all the connectors. The case also has plenty of room inside for drives. The drive bays can use the supplied quick connect/release fasteners to attach the drives making it easy and quick to swap out drives without a screwdriver. Front panel access to audio as well as USB 3.0 and 2.0 is a plus. I was also surprised at the quantity of screws and fasteners provided with the case. They even included a small adaptor so you could use a philips screw driver to tighten the hex head motherboard stand-offs. Overall I could not be happier with this case and I am ordering another one today.

Cons: The only small thing to mention is the placement of the reset button. It is located up at the top near the audio connectors. As such, might be easy to accidentally press or bump it. Certainly not a big issue, but since you don't use it much, it might have been better to place it down somewhere around the power button instead.

Other Thoughts: This is a great case for the price, especially since it already has a power supply. I would not hesitate to recommend this case.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Case!! (for the price)

Pros: What can i say? I am in love!
-Lots of ventilation options! (you can put 7 120mm! and porous!)
-Nice materials (mostly steel and some glossy plastic)
-No rough edges
-You can put any motherboard in: from Micro ATX to E-ATX
-Lots of Space to put drives in
-Can accept the biggest video cards in the market
-Decent 500 W Power supply (not recoment for CF or SLI imo)
-front panel with usb3, 2 usb2 , mic and headphones jack (HD) sound
-Insanely good deal for the price (got it for 78$)

Cons: For the price i got it can't really complain. All other choices looked junk compared to it but the only thing i could think is:
- No cable management that goes behind the motherboard

Other Thoughts: I dont' know that the 2 guys before me are smoking but if you want spend your cash on better hardware without compromising too much on the case. This is It best sub 100 $ case + psu package on newegg. Its not some unknown brand its Cooler Master!

2 out of 5 eggsDecent case, DOA PSU!

Pros: Case has great air flow and the inside is painted black. Would make great for a NAS running FreeBSD.

Cons: Well, first off the PSU was DOA. Also, the PCI slots are break-aways; meaning, the plates that cover the PCI slots break off instead of unscrew. I have never seen this before.

Other Thoughts: Would not recommend. But what do you expect from such a moderatly inexpensive case

Manufacturer Response:

Dear valued customer,
I'm very sorry for the troubles you've encountered. Please feel free to contact us via email or Live Chat for any of your support needs!

3 out of 5 eggsCould be better

Pros: It is a solid case overall (Cooler master) not many issues.

Cons: The PSU could be a lot better but for 50 bucks it works well.
The lip near where you put the motherboard in blocks near the bottom and because of it I cannot attach my front USB 3.0 port to my motherboard.

Other Thoughts: Overall for 50$ I'm satisfied.
