4 out of 5 eggsGood Micro-Atx Tower

This review is from: Cooler Master N200 - Mini Tower Computer Case with Front 240mm Radiator Support and Ventilated Front Panel

Pros: wid variety of cpu coolers can fit into the case, big mobo cut out for cpu removal, 2.5" ssd,hdd can be secured to the motherboard tray

Cons: only one usb 3.0, if putting a 120 aio water cooler on the back 120mm fan opening it makes it so you can't put a fan on the side panel, back side panel with all psu cables is a snug fit, have to route the 8 4+4 or 4 pin motherboard connector behind motherboard.

Other Thoughts: was able to fit 2 gtx 770's and a h80i in this case with ease other than it got tight with everything in the case.

3 out of 5 eggsNot bad, not great

This review is from: Cooler Master N200 - Mini Tower Computer Case with Front 240mm Radiator Support and Ventilated Front Panel

Pros: Very nice looking on the desk. Excellent cooling options for the size/money. Light but feels sturdy enough.

Cons: No CPU 12V cabling cutout. Several quality issues... The USB 3.0 connector in mine would not physically fit into the motherboard, I tried several mobos. SSD would not align with the screwholes on the lower drive cage. You have to remove the entire cage whenever you want to do anything. Larger Microatx board just barely fit in without taking everything out again.

1 out of 5 eggsToo small.

This review is from: Cooler Master N200 - Mini Tower Computer Case with Front 240mm Radiator Support and Ventilated Front Panel

Pros: It's a case

Cons: I bought this within a newegg combo deal and the motherboard that it came paired with was too big for the case.

Manufacturer Response:

Good Afternoon John,

I apologize for the inconvenience you're having with your Cooler Master N200 Case and motherboard. The N200 can accommodate motherboards in the MATX specifications. What mother board was packaged with your case? Please give us a call at our office and we can assist you in installation.

I look forward to your response.

2 out of 5 eggsMAJOR DESIGN FLAWS -READ ME

This review is from: Cooler Master N200 - Mini Tower Computer Case with Front 240mm Radiator Support and Ventilated Front Panel

Pros: High quality metal, well built (except for the design flaw)

Everything works, front and back fans spin at ~900 rpm
Buttons are nice, though front USB ports would liked to be USB 3.0 instead of 2.0s

Everything comes apart very well.

Cons: The top PCI port of the case has a bezzle, or a piece of metal that is not completely cut off and rolled out and up. Because of this, I cannot use my HDMI and Displayport Ports on my gtx 750ti.

This bezzle will block ALL male (cord) to female (graphics card) connections on the top slot (except for the DVI or VGA connections)

Also, because of this bezzle, I had to move my graphics card to the second PCIE x16 slot on my motherboard, and now there's only about 1cm of clearance between my gtx 750 ti's Fan and the power supply. Which heats the thing up a lot faster than usual.

Also, i feel like this case is 1-2 mm off on some places, but I doubt any maker would have had that accuracy.

Other Thoughts: If only that annoying piece of metal was fully cut off, This case would have gotten a 5 star rating. Now my graphics card is going to suffer because of this stupid design flaw

Manufacturer Response:

Good Morning Wan,

I apologize you're having issues with your N200, please contact us through our CM Fanzone via Live Chat, Phones, or Support Ticket and we will both look for a solution for a better experience with our products. Can you also provide photos with your GTX 750Ti in the top slot so we can determine the issue.

4 out of 5 eggsGood, Compact Case

This review is from: Cooler Master N200 - Mini Tower Computer Case with Front 240mm Radiator Support and Ventilated Front Panel

Pros: -Smaller than my last case, I got it for college
-Airflow seems to be pretty good
-I like the location of the hard drive and ssd slots. They are right below the optical drive slot and just screw in. There are a few additional spot that are removable.
-Looks really nice and has good build quality
-Power button feels very satisfying
-The two included fans aren't silent but are decently quiet; I might consider replacing them.
-Comes with plenty of cable ties

Cons: Cable management could be a bit better. As others have mentioned, there is no hole for the CPU power cord in the top corner so my cord crosses a bit of the motherboard.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best value mATX case

This review is from: Cooler Master N200 - Mini Tower Computer Case with Front 240mm Radiator Support and Ventilated Front Panel

Pros: Read the other reviews, you will get everything you need to know. This case is well deserving of a 4-5 egg rating. The value-to-quality ratio is so good, it really should get 5 eggs.

It's a modern case (SSD mounts, watercooling options, fan options, USB 3.0 (sad that there's only one), filters, etc.

For the price, the paint finish is great and the metal construction is not too flimsy. It's solid with great air flow.

Cons: All the cons are pretty well-documented in the other reviews. But here are my personal stand-outs:
- Only 1 USB 3.0 port (waste of a 3.0 mobo socket)
- No included filter for side panel fan mount (all the rest have filters of varying quality)
- A 140mm fan won't fit at the top if your mobo's memory slots begin at the very top (most of them do). A 120 will fit as the mounting holes move it away from the mobo.

Other Thoughts: I added a Silverstone fan filter to the side panel. Keep dust out of your PC with filters!

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent value

This review is from: Cooler Master N200 - Mini Tower Computer Case with Front 240mm Radiator Support and Ventilated Front Panel

Pros: 1. Small
2. ITX or Micro ATX
3. Removable 3.5 hard drive cage
4. Supports water cooling
5. Unique top mounted fan, can use a 140mm or 120mm. Has a silly filter but the mounting holes for the 120mm allow you to move it away from the motherboard! Great!
6. Front panel can be removed for easy cleaning because the power led, reset button, reset switch, etc are not part of the panel but snapped onto the case! Brilliant and about time!

Cons: 1. A little taller would've been nice so I could reach my hands to connect the fans, I had to struggle once the heatsink was on.
2. Snap on front, please just stop it already use screws what's so freaking hard about that? why would you use plastic snap on parts when screws will work just as well? It makes no sense.
3. Tight cable management, but expected with it's size. I still was able to hide a lot of excess cable.
4. eVGA GTX 670 FTW LE doesn't fit properly, infact no graphics card I know of will fit 100% right. I say this because the top slot has a lip that blocks the HDMI and DVI ports from being fully plugged into. My HDMI does fit, but the edge hits this lip and prevents the cable from going in completely. A DVI cable might not work, I'm using the bottom DVI port instead. Very confusing but maybe you can fix it with tin snips?

Other Thoughts: This is a great pc case and I think you'll find the snap on front not having the power led, reset buttons, etc attached to it is a huge time saver. No more unplugging them and pulling them out to change fans. To bad every case isn't designed that way. There is enough room to fit 4 hard drives, I used 750 wd blacks designed for laptops and it worked well. You will however find space running out when you go higher, enough so that routing is a huge pain in the neck. Behind the motherboard tray on the other side of the power supply is a somewhat large area to hide cables, I hid 2 of mind there using cable ties and it works well.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome case ...

This review is from: Cooler Master N200 - Mini Tower Computer Case with Front 240mm Radiator Support and Ventilated Front Panel

Pros: Cable management was accomplishable (I’d advise a modular power supply though). My SeaSonic G Series SSR-550RM worked very well in this regard. The ½” bulge on the side panel accommodated a sleeved ATX 2x12 power cable due to the back cover’s flexibility and space (this did require a bit of effort though … very tight). As a result, every cable except for the ATX 12V 2x4 cable fit behind the motherboard for a clutter free area allowing for excellent air flow. Case came with ample zip ties to get the job done.

I installed the recommended Cooler Master Seldon 120M (which I had to purchase elsewhere) with excellent results. I mounted the radiator at the rear and transferred the original rear fan to the front. Air flows into the case from the front and exits through the rear 120mm fan.

Case would have accommodated the Noctua NH-U14S CPU cooler if I had chosen to go that route … removes the option of a side mounted 120mm fan though … maximum cooler size is 160mm.

The front panel is clean and had a professional appearance. Remove it by pulling out from the bottom … be careful not to break it though as this is not the easiest thing to accomplish (requires more than a “gentle pull”). Big plus is that it can be removed without having to deal with any wire leads!

Nice overall paint job too … all black … matte.

Customer was very satisfied with the case’s size … I previously delivered a workstation using the Cooler Master HAF 922. The first comment was “That is a big case” … .not so with the N200.

Ample mounting hardware provided.

Rubber feet kept the case off the ground.
Excellent price for excellent design.

Roomy enough for a large graphics card (EVGA GTX 770: 02G-P4-2774-KR) maximum size of 355mm or 14”.

Installed a Silverstone FF123B filter on each front 120mm fans. It would have been nice to have a front filter provided with the case.

Very light … but still sturdy.

Came with a motherboard speaker.

Bottom mounted PSU allowed fresh air to enter from the bottom through an easily removable filter.

Cons: The front USB 3.0 connector was quite snug … I had to exert more pressure than I was comfortable with to mount a Patriot XT 32 GB thumb drive.

Only one 5.25” bay in front … but I only needed one for an ASUS DVD-Writer.

Removing the plate for the front 5.25” optical drive took a bit of effort.

The my motherboard’s heat sink (labeled G1 Gaming) prevented installation of a 120mm fan (Gigabyte GA-Z97MX Gaming 5). I would have like to see about another ½” inch added to the top of the case.

Not toolless … but I knew how to use a Sears Phillips head #2 so this was not too terribly hard to overcome.

Only one front USB 3.0 connector.

Other Thoughts: Had to install the motherboard first … followed by the PSU … not a big deal though.

There is not one microATX case that I would choose over this case … $49.99 … WOW … what a great deal!
