5 out of 5 eggsExcellent case for any gamer or content creator!

This review is from: CM Storm Trooper - Gaming Full Tower Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock with Side Panel Window

Pros: TONS OF ROOM!! You can do just about anything you want in this case!! 9 drives? OK, we got SSD bays too... HUGE CPU COOLER? NO PROB. WATER COOLING? Sure, how many feet of tubing you got? Tons of ventilation, WITH SCREENS! LED/Fan controller built into front panel. 4 INCLUDED FANS! 2 LED input fans in the side/front (depending on how you mount the drive cage), a rear exhaust, and a LARGE top exhaust! Top fan can be removed to mount a radiator and/or 2 120mm fans if you prefer/need. Tons of room in the back panel for cable management as well, the cover went back on the first try no problem!!

Cons: This thing is huge and heavy. Yes there is a "handle" built into the top, but you gotta be pretty tough to one arm this beast. Especially with a fully built system inside.

Other Thoughts: Highly recommend this case to anyone who wants to build a mid-level or higher end gaming/editing PC.

3 out of 5 eggsDIY Build with one poblem.

This review is from: CM Storm Trooper - Gaming Full Tower Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock with Side Panel Window

Pros: At first sight, the case is very impressive. Take the side panels off and you have plenty of room to work in the case and more then enough options as to hard drives and SSD drives. Still building at this time.

Cons: The one drawback I have with case is it advertised liquid cooler ready. I am installing ASUS Z97 board with an Intel I7 chip and wanted to be able to overclock it to see what happens. The cooler was Corsairs H105. Problem was the cooler does not fit with this mother board. It was about 1/16 to big when mounting to the top of the caseand would not clear the mother board. Be careful when picking components.

Other Thoughts: It's still a good case

4 out of 5 eggsVery good!

This review is from: CM Storm Trooper - Gaming Full Tower Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock with Side Panel Window

Pros: Well thought out design, huge, great dust & cable management, solid construction.

Cons: The 200mm case fan started rattling unacceptably just 2-3 months after building my new PC. Apparently, the bearing in that fan is not so good. :-(

Other Thoughts: I'll probably end up replacing the 200mm case fan. The noise is getting on my nerves.

5 out of 5 eggsThe rock star of computer cases.

This review is from: CM Storm Trooper - Gaming Full Tower Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock with Side Panel Window

Pros: - Build quality
- Cable management
- Spacious
- Handle. Very well balanced when picked up by handle.
- Fan Controller with speed control
- Storage drawer
- SSD dock
- Three dust filters

Cons: - The area under the handle is a natural place to put things, however the area is not sealed so anything small like a screw will fall down inside the case.. not good.

Other Thoughts: This case is amazing, the space the style the fact that its portable and easy to pick up by the handle. If I do another build that needs a case this big I will get another, maybe in white next time.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

This review is from: CM Storm Trooper - Gaming Full Tower Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock with Side Panel Window

Pros: Excellent Space! The handle is a huge plus for moving it around. There's the option to switch the direction the way you want drive bays set. What can I, if you have to money, buy it.

Cons: none so far, mine came the way I wanted it to.

Other Thoughts: I haven't done any liquid cooling yet, but there's plenty of space for whatever you would wanna slap into this beast. I'm not a huge fan of the side window, but when its all put together it sure does look purrrrty. 5/5 eggs newegg and 10/10 ranking coolermaster. Thanks I'm happy.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it.

This review is from: CM Storm Trooper - Gaming Full Tower Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock with Side Panel Window

Pros: -Great build quality
-Great cable management
-Spacious
-Handle
-Fan Controller
-Storage drawer
-SSD dock
-Dust filters

Well, this is probably my all-time favorite case to build in. There is a ton of space and everything is pretty easy to access. This is a very solid case, it feels like it will keep all your components safe. Nothing about it feels cheap to me at all. This is where the carrying handle comes in handy, because due to the high quality materials used this case can be quite heavy, even when empty. Beyond that, there is a ton of space to work with, you will not feel cramped trying to get all the components in this case. I really like that it is possible to rotate the HDD bays, but prefer them in their initial orientation for the sake of hiding cables. There is a nice amount of space behind the motherboard to route cables. The SSD dock is a nice feature, though one that I do not use often, it does come in handy when I do need it. The dust filters are very easy to access and clean - always a nice plus.

The fan controller is nice, it is easy to use and works well. The storage drawer is actually one of my favorite things on a case. I am always looking for places to hide little things from cats and children. This makes it so that my cat doesn't eat the strings on some of my USB drives and things like that. It is also a good place to hide tiny presents for the wife (like jewelry) - because really, who would look there for something like that?

Cons: -Heavy
-Huge

This is a big and heavy case. Thank goodness that it has a comfortable handle otherwise moving it would be rather unpleasant. Be aware of its dimensions and make sure you have space for it. 23.80" Height x 9.80" Width x 22.80" Depth.

Other Thoughts: This is my favorite case of all time probably. I have worked with more expensive cases that do not have as many features or lack the quality that this one has. For its price it is very difficult to match. Overall it is one of my top-recommended cases to people. If the design is something you like and you are looking for a high-quality case, then I would so go for it!

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing tower!

This review is from: CM Storm Trooper - Gaming Full Tower Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock with Side Panel Window

Pros: There's a lot that I like about this tower, I'll list them off like in a checkbook,
1: The size, it's absolutely humongous! There's nothing I can't put in this beast,
2: The actual case it self is made of great materials, unless you drop it directly on the glass-panel, absolutely nothing will be damaged. maybe a slight scratch if you're unlucky, the handle is really comfortable and doesn't hurt after holding for extended periods of time,
3: The inside of the case looks beautiful, as does the outside "but I don't need to state how great it looks, with the picture right there" but the interior is absolutely stunning, I added some red lights inside of mine and it looks great,
4: The buttons are really comfortable and work amazingly, I've heard of the start-button wanking out before, will update in the future. For now, it's great & really comfortable/easy to press,
5: The best pro of this tower is the airflow, I decided not to go with water-cooling due to being afraid of my parts messing up due to the water, so I decided to go with regular fans, regardless of not being perfectly cool due to it still being fans, it never over heats and stills fairly close to room temperature, though mine is also near my window and it's winter here in Colorado. So that could be a big factor as well, not to mention the fans in this beast are quieter then my granny trying to hide a fart.

Cons: There's few things I dislike about this tower, but I'll state the most important ones,
1: it's a bit hard to get into. with 2 screws holding in each panel, it can be a pain. And some of the hard-drive bays can make it difficult to maneuver around in there.
2: Unless you clean it at least once a month, you will definitely get tons of dust in this tower, it has tons of vents all around it which is good but means more pile up,
3: It can be a bit hard to open the driver bays in the front when you first get it. and you can easily break the little switches on the side that hold them in.. don't use them anymore then you need too.

Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for a next-gen + compatible tower.
This massive beast will do anything you need it too, want dual 970 video cards inside of it? go for it! you'll have the space,
the 150$ price tag on this is insanely cheap for such a great-quality product, it's almost impossible to break without purposely hammering it to death "YOU MONSTER!!!!" and it's comfortable to pick up and hold. also really easy to set up.
It deserves the full 5 eggs.

3 out of 5 eggsupgrader's dream one issue

This review is from: CM Storm Trooper - Gaming Full Tower Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock with Side Panel Window

Pros: I've had this case for about a month and a half it's big, really big. there is plenty of room for watercooling or monster size air coolers. there are options to layout your hard drive cages multiple layouts including upside down if need be so your fan wires on the inside of the case. there is a small SSD holder in the bottom of the case which I moved and custom fit mounted to the bottom of the hard drive fan cage. was also able to add a custom aluminum bracket right underneath the carrying handle to hide the gap under the top cover. cable management is a breeze with plenty of grommeted holes to the back side of the case I really only have one issue stated below.

Cons: I really only have one issue with this case I've had it under 2 months only turn this thing on maybe 50 times and the power button is already going out on it. I'm really unsure what I'm going to do with the power switch as it's not worth sending in for an RMA this is the only reason why I'm giving this case three eggs due to the fact this piece is awfully crucial to using the PC

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: CM Storm Trooper - Gaming Full Tower Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock with Side Panel Window

Pros: Very happy with all of the different configuration options. This is not just for gaming; it is a strong contender for a high performance business PC as well.

Cons: Is a large case, just a bit bigger than expected but nothing bad. Overall not a big deal.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Value and Best Quality

This review is from: CM Storm Trooper - Gaming Full Tower Computer Case with Handle and External 2.5" Drive Dock with Side Panel Window

Pros: This is huge !!! Plenty of space if you are into gaming or need a case that will support HUGE video cards and want to do water cooled. This case will fit all of your massive power supplies and want to fit all of your large motherboards with no problems at all. More space available even with all of the large components. It will fit all of your Blu ray discs, HHD's, SSD's, and other components you want to stuff into this beast.

Cons: It is difficult to reach some of the components like your HHD's and whatever you have to do to exchange or swap out. The weight of this beast is heavy without any components so be aware from the beginning. This should be a case that will stay in place unless you want to carry around the 30 LBS of extra weight. The one fault is the positioning of where the HHD's, SSD's and other components are placed in the case.

Other Thoughts: Just to let everyone know that the cons are not really cons because in every case you will have small complaints of where everything fits in a case. The manufacturer cannot please everyone. I love this case because of the handle on top, the amount of room inside the case, the color, the ability to use watercooled as well as the case fans. My setup includes: Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z motherboard, 1000 watt power supply, Watercooled AMD 9590, 3- XFX Radeon R9 2GB video cards, AMD R9 32 GB 2400MHZ memory, AMD Radeon 480GB SSD, Samsung 240GB SSD, 2 Blu Ray discs from LG, Windows 10 and plenty of fans to keep my system cool. I do some gaming, Geneology, Photos and other things I do with my computer. This is a fast machine for me and I have the ability to add or subtract components as I see fit. I hope this review will help others out there that are not tech savy.
