4 out of 5 eggsGreat compact case!

This review is from: COOLER MASTER Elite 110 RC-110-KKN2 Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case with Standard Size ATX PSU and 120mm Radiator Support Compatible with Standard ATX PS2 (not included) Power Supply

Pros: - Small and compact with plenty of room inside
- Solid and sturdy metal construction
- Fits standard sized ATX PSU
- Lots of ventilation

Cons: - Didn't get the rebate
- Cable management is a nightmare (although for a case like this it's expected, try to use a modular PSU if you can to reduce cables)

Other Thoughts: I bought this for a low powered mini ITX server build. For the price of $59.99, it's well worth it. Although the mail in rebate should have been an instant rebate, then it would have been a great deal at $49.99.

4 out of 5 eggsTiny but mighty

This review is from: COOLER MASTER Elite 110 RC-110-KKN2 Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case with Standard Size ATX PSU and 120mm Radiator Support Compatible with Standard ATX PS2 (not included) Power Supply

Pros: Compact and strong, love how easy it is to take this case apart. Looking forward to building it when I get all the components.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Only concern I have is heat issues, I purchased a new 120 mm fan with a high CFM to keep it from heating up to much, if this does not work I have a few other ideas.

4 out of 5 eggsReasonably priced, super small case that supports standard parts.

This review is from: COOLER MASTER Elite 110 RC-110-KKN2 Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case with Standard Size ATX PSU and 120mm Radiator Support Compatible with Standard ATX PS2 (not included) Power Supply

Pros: - Tiny case
- Supports standard parts (ITX mobo, PSU, GPU all be it shorter ones)
- Supports liquid cooling (I was able to get a H55 installed with little issue)

Cons: - An absolute nightmare to build in (expected that with the side of the case)
- Near impossible to cable manage
- Only supports 150mm GPUs. (the case could have taken longer ones if they would have put the front IO on the other side)
- Extremely easy to scratch (I scratched the bezel by setting it down to connect the front IO to the mobo)
- Power LED is way too bright, and looks very tacky being the logo. If you leave the LED unhooked the logo looks very cheap.

Other Thoughts: Most of my grievances are about the power button and the front of the case as the difficulty to build within it is due to its size which is its major selling point.
- Due to the power LED's location and brightness this will not make a good HTPC as you cannot hide it unless you dont connect it.
- I would have much preferred to see a while LED rather then a blue one for the power indicator.
- The power buttons would have been better off with the IO on the side. There is even a spot where it looks like a button would have been but it is not used.
- The case would have looked better if the front was entirely mesh.
- I would have liked to see a better quality of plastic used that did not scratch so easily.

That aside the case is very small and can be tucked away very easily. I went with an i5-6400 and a H55 cooler and it keeps really good temps. Given that this is a $40 case with a $10 rebate I cannot complain much as the build quality is decent less the cheap plastic on the front and that tacky power LED. With all things considered I will give this case a 4 of 5 eggs, if it cost more I would have deducted more eggs.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case if you're looking for a Mini ITX Build

This review is from: COOLER MASTER Elite 110 RC-110-KKN2 Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case with Standard Size ATX PSU and 120mm Radiator Support Compatible with Standard ATX PS2 (not included) Power Supply

Pros: -small and lightweight
-easy to use and build in
-plenty of space for HDDs and SSDs
-supports standard size ATX power supplies
-nice ventilation

Cons: -cable management is a little difficult (I ended up shoving a lot of the cables inside the front panel holes)
-no dust filters
-not really a con because you definitely get what you pay for but it would be cool to get a handle on the top for easier carrying
-bracket on the top used for mounting drives is a bit cumbersome to take off every time I need to work in the case.
-wish the feet were rubber instead of plastic

Other Thoughts: Running this case with a i5-4430, 8GB of RAM, a GTX 950, 600w PSU, and Win10 on a boot SSD and a 640GB HDD. Runs beautifully, and great for small areas as a HTPC or even carrying to a LAN event. Definitely would recommend if you're just getting into small form factor PCs.

This review is from: COOLER MASTER Elite 110 RC-110-KKN2 Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case with Standard Size ATX PSU and 120mm Radiator Support Compatible with Standard ATX PS2 (not included) Power Supply

Pros: -I got it as part of an AM1 Athlon 5350 combo for $100
-Lots of air flow?

Cons: -It feels like alot of wasted space
-Only room for 2 3.5" HDD's...

Other Thoughts: -Not too expensive, but i have it because...well it was included in a combo
-Im using it as a freenas server but i only have 2 drives...
-I wouldnt buy it if i had my choice of SFF cases, even for the same application

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent rendition of an itx form factor case

This review is from: COOLER MASTER Elite 110 RC-110-KKN2 Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case with Standard Size ATX PSU and 120mm Radiator Support Compatible with Standard ATX PS2 (not included) Power Supply

Pros: This case does what it advertises well; it is very utilitarian, but the form has followed function gracefully even if it played second fiddle.

- this is definitely one of the smaller cases still able to fit a standard ATX PSU

- pricing is very good; you get more than what you pay for iny opinion.

- airflow is good and can be improved

- the layout is logical and makes the best of a cramped space so that building in it is relatively hassle-free - the fact that they made it possible to access the motherboard area from three sides at once is smart.

- the included 120mm fan is of good quality; quiet and reasonably powerful.

Cons: no optical disk drive - I do think they could have fit a slim drive into this product, but I won't dock any points for this because it would disrupt the case's clean front panel design.

the system used for retaining the brackets of expansion cards like GPUs is not my favorite, but it is cost-effective and gets the job done in the end so I can't really complain.

Other Thoughts: get this case if you want a small clean design that works in a professional or gaming environment equally well and won't break the bank.

2 out of 5 eggsNice case, but don't expect a rebate

This review is from: COOLER MASTER Elite 110 RC-110-KKN2 Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case with Standard Size ATX PSU and 120mm Radiator Support Compatible with Standard ATX PS2 (not included) Power Supply

Pros: - lots of room, in fact, too much room
- good quality, solid metal
- quality connectors

Cons: - nothing to complain about regarding quality
- mostly complaining about the rebate, don't expect one.

Other Thoughts: - 2 eggs rating, would be 5 except the price was the main reason this was purchased and the rebate hasn't come thru making this not worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsNice little case

This review is from: COOLER MASTER Elite 110 RC-110-KKN2 Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case with Standard Size ATX PSU and 120mm Radiator Support Compatible with Standard ATX PS2 (not included) Power Supply

Pros: Sturdy
space for 2 2.5" drives and 2 3.5" drives
Had enough room for cables and a decent cpu cooler.

Cons: the reset button is a little oddly placed so that it's difficult to press, but that is kind of a pro too since you won't accidentally press it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little case

This review is from: COOLER MASTER Elite 110 RC-110-KKN2 Midnight Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case with Standard Size ATX PSU and 120mm Radiator Support Compatible with Standard ATX PS2 (not included) Power Supply

Pros: Looks good and overall great quality. Good airflow for my setup.

Cons: Air flow might be poor for a gaming setup.

Other Thoughts: Built an AMD AM1 setup in there for a small server.

Works great for my need.
