1 out of 5 eggsGreat case but BAD packaging

Pros: Beautiful piano black case with lots of room and good cooling. The power supply is adequate for an i7 and 16gigs RAM with one hard drive, on DVD and on-board video. Very polished and attractive case.

Cons: Unfortunately, I have had to return about 5 of the cases in the past few months because the cases came in damaged. The packaging does not hold up well with UPS's rough handling. They have been heavily dented and the plastic front face cover was cracked and ripped completely off of the pegs. I ordered 8 initially, and had to return 3 for damage. Of the 3 replacements that came in, 1 of them was heavily damaged. I wound up having to get a case locally to finish the build for my customer. I really like the case but would hesitate before I ordered another. Also, I had to return these case earlier this year for the same problem.

Other Thoughts: The case itself gets 5 stars, but the box and Styrofoam packaging get a ZERO. I would not buy these again unless they improve the protection for the case from rough handling. It a pain in the rear and not worth the wait for RMA and then the return. My time is more valuable than that!

1 out of 5 eggsGot a Mis-Fit

Pros: Arrived as scheduled.

Cons: Purchased as part of a DIY COMBO, the case backplane and motherboard are mis-aligned, preventing the connection of the cables (USB, SSUSB, and Ethernet).

Trival but, one of the four knurled nuts for the two sidepanels was not knurled.

Other Thoughts: As I did not discover this mis-alignment until the assembly was finished, I'm now faced with having to dis-assemble everthing and hope I can find some way to fix this with washers or something.

3 out of 5 eggsi got it..

Pros: Small, Sleek, good air flow. fast shipping.

Cons: The PSU that comes with it is a Series 585, not a 585Watt. Its 300. And that isnt going to cover what I need. So I had to replace it. So that case itselfs, not worth the price I paid. I could have gotten a better case w.o a psu.

Im not going to bother to try to return it, because that just takes forever. But just be warned this DOES NOT COME WITH A 585 W PSU!
Other than that my atx micro mobo fits, but i had to move the standoffs and the pcie barley fit. Sheesh.

Other Thoughts: Not worth the price paid. due to the fact that this psu is WEAK and cheap. I wouldnt use it unless you want to fry your mobo

2 out of 5 eggsSo So with bundled P/S

Pros: Bought as part of a combo. Case includes 585W P/S.
Nice case, plenty of room, lots of drive bays.

Cons: System won't boot with bundled P/S. (Boots with a spare OCZ Ihave)
No 8 Pin 12/volt connector.

No case speaker.
HDD LED doesn't work

Other Thoughts: Power supply not right for this bundle.

Will replace P/S to make this work

2 out of 5 eggsSo So

Pros: Cheap. (Shipping was excellent, was shipped from the US to Ontario Canada, ordered it on Friday got it on Tuesday)

Cons: PSU was doa, case was a little bent (though packaging was excellent, so must have been a manufacturing fault) I had to bend it back with a rubber mallet and screwdriver handle to get the rear plate in place.

Other Thoughts: I'm not gonna bother with the hassle of RMA'ing it back. The case is being used for a server build that I'd like to get done before the new year.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case, But

Pros: ~ Nice Design
~ Great Air Flow
~ Enough Space
~ After a few years the power supply is still working

Cons: The Biggest Con is that the power supply is 485W, Not the 585 Watts that is in the details on the product page.

Other Thoughts: Wish They would change the power supply on the product page to show what is really in it.

4 out of 5 eggsPrice should be lowered

Pros: Sleek design, good build quality, no standoffs needed for the motherboard, can fit an aftermarket heatsink, just big enough for an ATX board despite being pretty short, stays remarkably cool as well.

Cons: After my 4 years of ownership, the power button no longer works. There's also hardly any room to squeeze in a 120mm fan in the front, between the case and the hard drive bay.

Other Thoughts: Can't say much about the power supply because I actually replaced it right away and gave it to a friend. I recommend using a slim 120mm fan for the front of the case because it's easier to install.

Also after 4 years, 60 bucks was pretty good for a case like this, but times have changed and you can certainly get better cases for the same price point.

5 out of 5 eggsGood, no-frills case

Pros: Cheap Case, no frills design.
Solid steel frame
DB9 port for old-school serial (R2-232) connector.

Cons: You'll need to get a pair of 120mm fans
Micro ATX motherboards will need a couple of plastic standoffs.
No ATX_12 8 Pin connector, but that's expected from a "budget" case.
glossy black plastic may attract dust.

Other Thoughts: This is about as basic of a case/powersupply as it gets. I'm pretty sure the case was designed in the mid-90's.

Then again, what's really changed in almost 20 years with ATX cases?
