5 out of 5 eggsWho needs the in color?

Pros: Its beige, has lot's of room, well made, and it was cheap. Matches my old Pentium 1 .

Cons: No fans included. Hard to find a beige dvd burner. The new intel stickers are significantly smaller than the indent on the case...

4 out of 5 eggsVery good gaming desktop

Pros: Very compact relative to my Raidmax Aeolus case and it fits a full sized graphics card (Nvidia GTX560 Ti) within it. I have a Phenom X4 970 Black Edition CPU in this rig right now and it is just awesome. Runs SWTOR on highest settings easily. This is not too heavy to carry around either.

Cons: It gets very hot due to its compact size. I played SWTOR today for 8 hours straight and it was toasty but I installed the 2 back fans which helped a bit. It may not fit huge cooler and I had to remove the bridge from the case during installation.

Other Thoughts: The coolest retro 1980's gaming desktop case that you can find. Now I just need an Atari sticker.

3 out of 5 eggsDisappointing quality

Pros: Cheap. I needed a case for an atx server motherboard. No add-on cards, and two 3.5" HDs. This seemed to fit the bill.

Cons: The sheet metal was not engineered to proper tolerances. I could NOT get the ATX power supply to slide into place - the lip at the edge of the case was a *bit* too tight. I had to bend it up a tad with pliers to slide the PS in, and even then it did not fit all the way in straight, so only 2 of the 4 screws could attach. The HD drive bay did not want to go back on either (only 1 of the 3 screws would fit in afterward).

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect old school

Pros: looks great old school grey. Has plenty of space and does simply the job. Hard to find a case like this these days to build up a retro DOS machine.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect retro case!

Pros: This case is amazing! I fit my BIOSTAR TA870U3+ motherboard right in! Installation was a breeze! I removed the front panel because I though I needed to for the installation of the 80mm fan but you don't need to. It screws from the other side and the case comes with the screws needed for that. At first I thought I was not able to put in my PSU but after a few moments I discovered you needed to install it tilted bottom first and push the top inside. It's pretty spacious for a small case and ventilation is excellent for my Phenom II X4 945 CPU. I did not think my heat sink was going to fit because it is an ULTRA X-WIND 120mm fan heat sink and it is rather large. But it fit in and enough space for me to keep the metal bracket with the air vent. The air vent is amazing! Keeps my CPU even cooler; about 30C. You can further extend the vent downward so that it covers the cpu more and helps prevent loose cables from hitting the CPU fan. Bought 2 SilenX 60mm for the back. AWESOME CASE!

Cons: No real big cons, the 80mm fan has the front panel buttons and bracket in front of it but the bracket has a bunch of holes so air can still go in. If you want to stand it on the side there are no rubber feet on the sides. It's somewhat heavier than my old tower but it's durability and toughness makes up for it. The case is not built for a high powered overclocked monster but I suppose with the right modding and components it's possible.

Other Thoughts: The metal bracket with the CPU vent is detachable, if you have a big heat sink you can remove it for extra space. I said it was spacious inside for a small case but I would still consider the smallest components you can get for better airflow and less stuffiness. Otherwise this is my favorite case and I will keep it as long as I can still find classic beige components. If I can I will try and post a video of my rig with this case.

5 out of 5 eggsNot a problem here.

Pros: Deeper than I expected. Plenty of room for 3 5.25" drives and 2 HDs, and 2 floppy sized drives. Held my full sized atx board and psu fine. Desktop is nice, monitor sits right on top of it.

Cons: Didn't have any 40mm fans laying around, had to buy 2 for 6 bucks.

Other Thoughts: Bought this and modded it, a bit different from the usual server purpose. Drilled 2 green LED 80mm fans into the top of it, as well as a loud vantec tornado for grabbing auditory attention. Threw an i7 and EVGA board, Radeon HD 5870 in it. I brought it to a lan party and all my friends signed it with a sharpie, made into a really fun case.

3 out of 5 eggsJust Keep Looking

Pros: Low Price.
Solid: Steel case with sturdy construction. Hefty.
Clean look*: Very nice right out of the box. See cons.
Lots of potential.

Cons: No motherboard stand-offs: I've always had these come with the case. So not only did I have to buy the separate ($8 to get them locally, but shipping would have been ridiculous to get them online. And then I would have had to wait a week...) but the ones I got were to short so the motherboard doesn't line up with the rear I/O panel properly.

Mis-leading description:
External 3.5" Drive Bays 2
Internal 3.5" Drive Bays 2
What they don't say its that one of those is both external and internal, so there are only three 3.5" Drive Bays, not four.

*Curved front: the DVD tray is on the right side, but the front is beveled. So when the DVD is flush on the left side it sticks out 1/2" on the right side.

Other Thoughts: If you want a desktop you're better off getting a tower and turning it on its side. (I really didn't want to do that though).

I ended up getting a "Titan TTC-HDC4 HDD & System Cooler" which let me mount two HDD under my DVD, with the added benefit of cooling. I also added a "SILVERSTONE SST-FP32-S Aluminum USB/1394/Audio Panel" which uses one of the FDD slots.

The CPU fan collar is removable, which is good, because it doesn't line up with most builds.

All said and done; I added front fans/ventilation and front ports and now have 3 HDD's a DVD drive and plenty of airflow in this case. But, after looking at the cost of this and the finished product, I'd could have bought a tower that already had everything I added to this case for less money.

Compucase/HEC has a lot of great cases out there, but this one is very limited. Now you know...

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: WOW its a really great case I got one for my sister there are two internal hard drive bays aka 3.5" so not too much room for expansion on hard drives but it gets the job done Shes a pretty solid case and had enough room for an ultra 650Watt power supply and you all know how much room those suckers take between size and cable wrapping there are two vents at the top which is nice one directly over the CPU and one Over Where a video card would go so you can get plenty of air circulation fits a full size ATX MOBO

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: i was sorry i didn't buy another one for myself its so hard to find a nice cheap desktop case now a days as anyone who has priced them out would know other things is tighten up the screws on the case with the support bar it may come a little loose during shipping but other than that its a great desktop case and i prefer desktops over Towers just because the fact that you can save room for having them under your monitor instead over under the desk

4 out of 5 eggsClassic

Pros: Want the classic desktop case with the monitor on top, this is a great solution. Being able to put my own power supply in was also a plus. Well built and sturdy.

Cons: If you put a full size board in this you may have problems with the 3.5 drive bays. It leaves little room to move the drives in and out. Would of liked to have had a drop in from the top drive cage. I was forced to mount the HD in the 5 1/4 drive bay with a set of extender wing mounts I had. Also may want to pick up a frount port box such as http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813999355

Other Thoughts: The vent holes on the top are nice and it has a drop down duct to channel air out of the case. However the duct did not line up with my cpu fan in this build so I simply left it out. No heating issues as of yet.
