4 out of 5 eggsEfficient case

Pros: This is a very cheap case. It has good potential for airflow since the removable panel has a grid. All my parts fit in no problem. The case comes with a 80mm fan but can fit a 90mm one. I got another fan for the back and put the stock one at the front to get a cooling pull in/push out effect. I'd recommend this case to anyone on a budget.

Cons: Parts got a bit cramped towards the end of the build. My primary concern was the motherboard I had had the ram on the far side, which incidentally had no screws to absorb the pressure needed to push down the ram. So I felt a bit scared when the motherboard got bendy at that point. The power button is a real pain. You have to push down precisely in the middle otherwise it gets jammed and does nothing. The button is quite large but most of it is useless. Should have gone with a much smaller button that worked everywhere.

Other Thoughts: Everything worked in the end, which ultimately makes me continue to consider this case for my next build. Again, its pretty cheap and customizable so its got that going for it.

4 out of 5 eggsAs advertised

Pros: Works exactly as it needs to. It's a micro case, solid, can stand being dropped, and looks pretty snazzy for its size.

Cons: A bit of a tight fit. In order to fit all my components into the case, i had to spend time and wound up pinching my fingers more than once. But with a micro case, that's to be expected. It isn't like it requires a blood sacrifice in order to work.

Other Thoughts: I bought one a year ago, and have just gotten into the market for another microatx case, and i don't really have to pick any other case; this one works just fine. I'm buying a second one.

5 out of 5 eggsstill strong after 3 yrs

Pros: A nice looking, well-built case. I have had it for 3 years now and still haven't outgrown it. It's even big enough to fit in a massive Radeon HD 6970 video card!!!

Cons: None come to mind.

3 out of 5 eggsAbove average, but issues

Pros: Good price, smallest microATX tower I could find, front panel pops off easy for cleaning without attached LED/button cables (the audio, USB, eSATA, and LEDs are slide into place similar to the rear I/O panel), removeable HDD cage that still allows you to have the 2 external drive bays and 2 internal HDDs (aka external 3.5" bays), lightweight and pretty solid, the 'inacurrate' cover venting is actually better as a contiguous strip because you could mount a fan to the ventilation holes, at least the stock 80mm, possibly a 120mm.

Cons: there are sharp edges and the metal can be bent but not so bad that you have to overly worry. I'm extremely disappointed at the lack of mobo standoffs. I'm also disappointed that the described case cover is wrong: the cover I have is grated from top to bottom with no funnel; not that I wanted the funnel but what I bought isn't exactly what I got. Fans: I can't tell if the rear takes a 90mm or 92mm in addition to the standard 80mm. Intake fan is tough: either "mount" it to vent holes between the front cover and metal case not allowing for much flow and barely squeezing in the stock 80mm fan, or flatten the unused speaker tabs and line up the stock 80mm fan so its bottom corner is in the grate hole just above the tab. You could mod the inside of the plastic cover for a bigger fan, but would probably still have flow issues. No way to mount a 120mm fan inside without removing the HDD LED. No reset button, if you care about that, which I don't.

Other Thoughts: Struggled between a 3 and 4 rating, but the lack of mobo mounts, inaccurate description, and lack of intake fan at this price were enough to go down to 3. I'm going to move the stock 80mm to the inside front for intake and get a 90/92mm fan for rear outlet.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent case

Pros: More than enough bays. Lightweight and classic. The case didn't come as described (this could be a con for some). The termal vent for the processor was NOT included and the side panal has much more venting than pictured. I liked this over the specific CPU vent. Also, the 1 vertical HDD bay was actually not present and was replaced with a 2 bay horizontal 3.5 HDD slot. Another great thing since there is mesh on the front for airflow.

Cons: The inside metal is very flexible and the Rosewill PS I bought sits in it uneven.

Other Thoughts: The airflow of this case is truly awesome and it doesn't look bad. Even though they have made changes to the case, it was for the better, just don't be angry when the current description doesn't match the product.

I was able to use 4 of the 6 bays which left some room for upgrading.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Case, Good Price

Pros: Good looking, great price, decent quality, and enough space for a mid range micro build

Cons: The power button is somewhat flimsy and will jam crooked if pushed in the wrong spot, but this is not a huge deal. Also no reset button

Other Thoughts: For the price, it cannot be beat. Just did a build in this case for my parents internet/music computer and everything was super easy to fit and install

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: A good no thrills case.

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: The Faceplate is plastic and uses somewhat flimsy hook clips. So if you plan to move it a lot you should be aware of the fact to avoid damaging them.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent case!

Pros: The best case under $40 dollars, bar none. This case was very well thought out, designed, and manufactured. The metal is thin, but it's not flimsy. I cut a window in the left side panel, and it is still fairly sturdy. I like the option to use either the vertical or horizontal HDD mount, makes this case very versatile. Also, nice touches on the drive cage. If only using one bay, the metal push out tab under it will act as a support. Front panel has USABLE mesh vents that allow flow. There is enough room for some serious hardware, including super duper air heatsinks, all the while being the smallest affordable micro tower I could find. Has better than decent airflow with 3 80mm generic LED sleeve-bearing fans. Packaging was great, considering the value of this case. No damage to the case or box (although that's more the vendor than manufacturer's responsibility). Back to the case, the front panel is astonishing at this price point. The finish is very detailed and uniform, and attractive.

Cons: Not too many cons with this case, but nothing is perfect, so here goes. The metal is thin. I like that personally being that it's easier to mod, but get the cutting and fitment right the first time, because this metal will BEND, in a bad way, and quick! The left side panel looks to have a fan mount in the lower left corner, but this is really just a vent. I wasn't able to mount a fan with more than 2 screws. Perhaps a bigger fan (90mm, I had 80mm) would mount. I'm not a fan of the PCI slot tabs, they are the now usual push-out style. This is kind of addressed in that the first two PCI covers have screw holes, but the whole thing is wonky to me. I like the traditional 1-screw-per-slot method, rather than the metal tab that holds down everything. Power button sticks if pushed anywhere other than the direct center, but that's due to its aesthetics more than it being faulty. I actually like the spring assembly the power button has.

Other Thoughts: This case is one of the best cases around, not just at this price point, either. I am admittedly a Cooler Master fanboy, and this case rivals any CM case I've ever had or seen. Of course this case doesn't have tool-less bays, but I think some could be made to fit this case (idea?). I used this case to house some older hardware I had, and I liked it so much it became a full build. I painted the interior a candy red, there's windows in the top-front and left side panel, and you would never know I paid less than $40 shipped for this thing. Extremely impressed. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat. Has the same front panel inputs as my HAF922? And for almost a hundred dollars less?

Pros: Nice price and looks sharp Looks Sharp

Cons: The power switch is bad making this case unusable.

Other Thoughts: This purchase was a waste of money and my time. Not Newegg's fault I have always received great service from them.
