4 out of 5 eggsNice case but way too noisy

Pros: Very nicely built compact case

Cons: Very noisy power supply

Other Thoughts: The case is nicely built and works just fine with all the components I have. However out of all the ones I have built, it has by far the noisiest power supply making me want to try to swap it out. It also generates quite a bit of heat.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat ITX Case

Pros: Great Case, solid build. Nice features. LEDs are not too bright, attractive as small desktop or HTPC. Be sure to have SATA slim drive!

Using Intel Atom 330 board

Cons: Must have SATA slim drive. I had an IDE slim slot load drive from another project that i used so i did not have to buy a new one. Had to dremel out a large chunk to get IDE adapter to fit. Also IDE cables are alot more bulky than SATA. this case included SATA Adapter - couldnt use. (-1egg)

Other Thoughts: I brought the -1 egg on the fact that with a little modified design, the case could easily fit either IDE or SATA. my work did not sacrifice stability or functionality of the case, so it would have been nice if it was done for me in the HEC design. Specs does not specify SATA drive must be used.

Would be nice if there was an expansion slot - i drilled out a hole next to the PSU for a wifi card - tight fit, but i think HEC could have fit a slot in there for pci.

4 out of 5 eggsgets the job done

Pros: small, good case for the $, instructions made sense. Comes w/ SATA adapter for optical drives

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Good FreeNAS box. Using this to house my Via Epia sp13000. Everything fits just fine, temps seem reasonable. Not silent, but not loud either.

Make sure to get an optical drive w/ a SATA interface.

5 out of 5 eggsI love this little box!

Pros: Outstanding small form factor mini ITX box that fits a high power Intel motherboard, slim line DVD/Blu Ray drive, and 3.5" disk.

Cons: Not for beginners. It takes a careful hand and computer "hod rodding" to make every fit in this small case. No room for added cards either.

Other Thoughts: With an Intel min ITX motherborad, core duo processor, 4 gigs RAM and a Silverstone Blu Ray Drive, I have a system small enough to replace a notebook with lots of computing power.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Small, attractive, solid features. PSU fan is quiet but not silent.

Cons: No show stoppers. My ODD gets stuck when I eject it every now and then. Wiggling it gets it free. Everything is a tight fit, but it works so far.

Other Thoughts: The way the mount works for the 3.5" drive forces you to mount it upside down, which I really didn't want to do.

2 out of 5 eggsAlmost right

Pros: Good solid case, well made, looks great

Cons: Does not have any room for any pci device, doesn't even have a slot in the back. This does not work for me, because I was going to use it as an htpc, and I need the pci graphics card to make this feasible.

Other Thoughts: almost...
