5 out of 5 eggsGreat case and a great price

Pros: great ventilation. Both the top and bottom have mesh and foam for ventilation. I also like how the top of the case can come off for easy cleaning. You can also add 2 120mm fans on top or even on the bottm.

A lot of space, plenty of room for HDD's, great no tool set up, also locking features for the drives.

Clean looking with enough ports in the front.

Cons: none so far, perfect case for most types of builds.

5 out of 5 eggsnice features and not too flashy

Pros: I love this case because it has everything I need on the front (usb, microphone/headphone, power and reset) and a little spot for storage. Its got the right amount of functionality without going overboard and it doesn't have a hundred annoying flashy lights or pointless gauges all over the place.

Cons: Power button could be bigger? I can't find any notable flaws with the design.

Other Thoughts: Don't know how many people consider this a pro or not but I like the fact the PSU is at the bottom of the machine.

I hope I can find a case like this a few years from now the next time I have to build a computer. Its pretty much perfect for me.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Excellent choice! This case came in perfect condition. Everything fit. I love the easy install of peripherals, HD, DVD, etc. Very few sharp edges. Lots of fan ports. For the money, an excellent value.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Buy two!

5 out of 5 eggsI think it's great...

Pros: For the price this thing is awesome. The top mesh panel pops out easily and will hold two 120mm fans. It took me a few minutes to realize that the fans don't mount to the case, they snap into the removable cover. Very slick. The mesh screens are protected by foam to keep the dog hair out. I like the bottom mount PS and both bottom inlets have a foam filter. Nice big side screen/window lets you have a peak inside. Blue LED surrounds the power button. HDD LED is in the center of the reset button. Tool-free drive trays are cool. You can also use screws. Neato.

Cons: Tool-free hard drive tray does not lock well. My HD would slide when I plugged in the connectors. No big deal, still better than fumbling with tiny screws.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Happy

Pros: - No brand names to cover up
- Easy installation - no screws!
- Awesome front panel
- Top-front holds game pad perfectly
- Plenty of room for expansion
- Compact and boring... perfect for custom jobs!

Cons: - Tight squeeze between HDD cables and case
- Had a little trouble getting the front plate off
- Side needs unscrewed to open
- Metal a bit on the thin side

Other Thoughts: Too maximize airflow, I suggest a modular power supply, SATA instead of IDE and a small video card. I will probably reuse the case from machine to machine. I prefer this case over my old full tower since cables are always too short.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget Case

Pros: Looks good. No sharp edges. Screwless hard drive mounting that allows removal and replacement of hard drives without removing long video cards. Screwless optical drive mounting. Front bezel removes and replaces easily. Room for extra fans if needed. Filtered ventilation that allows plenty of airflow. Front esata connection. Access hole to allow removing and replacing heatsink/fan without removing motherboard. No vibration related noises with 4 fans and two hard drives installed.

Cons: Some may not like bottom mounted power supply.

Other Thoughts: Holes lined up perfectly for mounting Gigabyte EP43T-UD3L. Had no problems with side panel and front bezel fit and/or power supply mounting holes. Also was able to install a top fan with a full ATX board. Utilizing a modular power supply would reduce clutter at the bottom of the case.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Value

Pros: Easy to use in a build
includes power supply
very quiet when used with 65W Athlon II Dual Core

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This is an excellent case, I have used several of these so far in building small HTPC style machines.
Put the Hard Drive in first!

3 out of 5 eggsWhat the "HEC" !

Pros: Free Shipping,a promo code discount, and mercifully I did not pay full price.

Cons: During the installation it became apparent this case is not what it appeared to be. Other reviews stated "thin" and "flimsy" material. That in of it's self is not a deal breaker but their descriptions are understated.
Side panels do not go on well, hole alignment is poor on both sides as well as on PSU mounting holes, could only get three.
Front bezel does not "snap on", kind of loose and seems inferior enough to have a "short" life. This is a problem because the power and reset buttons are part of the bezel they are not on the case frame.
Even with a micro atx mobo and Amd cpu with stock cooler I cannot mount a fan on top of case. Speaking of which is yet another cheaply made and fittingly applied crown on what is truly a poorly made case.
All foam filters cannot be easily removed for cleaning with out bending back tabs on perforated covers,on top and front,or removing PSU to get at bottom filter.
Some times you just can't tell until you have it in your hands.

Other Thoughts: The screwless installation is good as is the ventilation.
I thought I would like the black inside. Turns out (for me) it's to dark to work in with out a good light.
I planned on using this case for a budget general purpose backup PC and to that end I succeeded.
While mostly disappointed I will say this case is not bad looking and is not without some good features like long wires, e-sata,smooth edges and plenty of expansion slots.

My HEC 6BRBBB's fate is to spend time on the workbench where it will be introduced to my die grinder and various cutting tools, destined to become an ongoing experiment.

Three eggs is generous.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Computer Case!

Pros: The best thing about this case is the TOTAL toolless design. My wife wanted me to put a new system together for her and she was actually the one who picked it out. It's black, with an all black inside, the power supply mounts at the bottom, which I also like. It comes with a 120mm rear fan, but HEC left plenty of options to install 4 more! After popping off the front panel..(which comes off super easy)....you can unscrew another small panel that lets you mount the fan and then fasten it back down..it's sweet! there's also a top panel that pops open to let you install 2 fans between it and the case. That's nice, because they're not in the way inside the case, but at the same time, they're hidden from view. Everywhere a fan mounts, they included foam dust filters. The front panel has a filter that runs it's entire length! Side panel has a large mesh area and gets plenty of cool air, plus you can install LED's and still be able to admire the inside of your machine!

Cons: It wasn't free! It is a lightweight case and the metal is a tad thin, but this case is assembled really well, so I'm not taking away an egg due to that!

Other Thoughts: Get one! I also need to mention that HEC includes plenty of mounting screws and such. Even at the regular price, this is a fantastic case for the money. I just can't say enough about it! I really don't think anyone who buys this case will be disappointed. I'm just hoping it goes on sale with the free shipping, so I can get a few more!

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: None - absolutely the worst case I've seen since the mid-80s.

Cons: All - absolutely the worst case I've seen since the mid-80s.

Other Thoughts: Why bother; go throw $42 out in the street.
