1 out of 5 eggsNever seen worse

Pros: - It has a large Power button
- It's relatively low cost

Cons: - Case is put together poorly
- Non-standard sizes makes mounting hardware difficult.
- Mis-matched holes due to improperly-aligned metal.

Other Thoughts: This thing is a steaming pile of you know what (thanks, New Egg for censoring G rated words!).

I've built HUNDREDS of computers in my time and never have I encountered this level of garbagetry in my life. The metal is thin and easily bendable, except the takeouts which are razor sharp and/or unyielding. The plastic breaks at the slightest pressure. Mounting a standard-sized DVD player is impossible without removing the power supply and even then, the mis-aligned slots mean you almost need a hammer to get it into position. And once you get it into position, using their mounting guides, you find out that the pop-down cover for the CD won't CLOSE. Worse, if you want to dispense with the pop-down cover, there's a gaping hole and sides that impinge on the CD player, making the whole front misshaped. I'm using my Ka-Bar to whittle it to size.

And I haven't even tried mounting the MB yet!

It takes me about half an hour, tops, to put together a computer with a decent case. I've been screwing around with this illegitimate male offspring of an unwed mother for over an hour. Unfortunately, thanks to whatever microencephalic executive who decided that every few days case designs have to change, I can't ever seem to get the good cases from yesteryear. The ones that were solid, well built, well designed and relatively inexpensive.

This is inexpensive, yes, and it's cheap as hell. I'm considering returning it because given the unbelievably poor quality that went into it, I'm concerned that the power supply will fry everything when I turn it on. I'm going to see if my old system's PS will work. If it will, I'll think about keeping this or swapping out this case with another old computer's. But I know one thing: NEVER BUY THIS CASE!

Glad I have the Google guarantee on this thing because I'm pretty fricking sure I'm going to need it.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Simple

Pros: it comes with a hec Orion power supply.

I ordered Orion 500w for 39.99, years ago to run 3 video cards and a heavy amd setup for temp use, till i could save up for the right one and that beast worked 3 years none stop no problem! and it still does work as a test power supply..

So these power supply's are great but this one is very noisy!. The case is simple and easy, but without any cable management and that's the other down side, it's a well build case for the price and looks great!

Cons: no cable management

Other Thoughts: can't beat the deal!

4 out of 5 eggsBeautiful Case, Noisy PSU

Pros: Stylish home/office case. Small footprint. Well made, good finish.

Cons: The PSU was louder than we like, so we replaced it.
The two 80mm fans aren't bad, will replace with 120s when they age. If we had it to do all over again, we would get the case without the PSU, and put the $20 difference twords a better one.

Other Thoughts: Remove the front bezel before installing DVD, and fasten DVD with screws, not the tool-less snaps (better alignment)

1 out of 5 eggsNot a Power Supply Issue

Pros: I had rated this case a 2 on 8/2/2014 assuming that the power supply was the problem after getting a no start after changing out 2 motherboard and CPU units. I subsequently changed out the power supply, I still could not get the case to function correctly. It appears to be a problem with the hokey power button. I've bought HEC stuff before and was pleased. This time, I'd rate it a zero if I could. I've never seen a problem like this before in all the units I've built.

Cons: No start after changing out motherboards, CPUs, power supplies.

Other Thoughts: Guess I just got a bum case. Too late and costly to send it back.

2 out of 5 eggsPower Supply Issue

Pros: 1. Nice looking case
2. Wiring well identified
3. Compact

Cons: 1. Either power supply or power on button isn't working right.

Other Thoughts: I tried this case with 2 different motherboard-CPU combinations that had worked in other cases. When the power button was pushed on, nothing happened. It seemed that the power on relay would not seal in. Never had that happen before in building a number of different computers. Next step is to pull the power supply to see if a replacement would function correctly. .... Sadly disappointed...Neat looking case.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Little Case

Pros: Very compact and solidly built. Runs very cool. Attractive front panel design.

Cons: One must be careful not to break the factory clips which hold in the hard drives and optical drives. Even if they should break, all devices can be attached with conventional screws.

Other Thoughts: I built a 24/7 computer from spare parts I had accumulated in my business to run my weather station continuously since I didn't want to run my main "monster" all the time. This case really worked out perfectly with a micro mobo and as previously stated, it runs extremely quiet and cool with the factory fans. I'm going to buy more for my business for customers that gasp at the size of some of the mid-tower cases.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent Value

Pros: I can't recall a better deal with both a very nice solid case and a 400W power supply for $45 (at time of purchase). The case is roomy, with plenty of space for a MicroATX MB and whatever else you'd like to add. The case looks sharp and has a nice solid feel to it, I couldn't be happier with this case!

Cons: included case fans are 4-pin Molex fans and do not directly connect to the MB... its a minor grumble to be sure and easily replaced if it bothers you. The included 400W* power supply is an HEC ORION HP400 PSU of dubious quality. It only had one 80mm fan on the back of the unit passing air through a stamped grill. While it is advertised as a 400W PSU and has the model# of a 400W PSU (the HP400-series), the only label on the PSU itself proudly boasted a total wattage of 95Watts... that's not a typo... 95watts... I have read of others with the same HP400-series of PSU where it read 230watts... I also understand it may well not be the TOTAL output of the PSU, and only a portion of some of the lines involved (it probably is 400W total in some secret way), but I just felt uncomfotable trusting my system to an obviously budget PSU that screams "hey, I got 95 watts for you" on the label. I did run the system on the ORION HP400 PSU for a week (without problems) for a week before I replaced the PSU with a Sentey 525Watt PSU (for $30) for peace of mind.

Other Thoughts: Overall, i'm giving this product 4 out of 5 eggs... I might have gave a lengthy "Con" to the PSU in this case, but really, the case alone without a PSU is well worth the $45 asking price, and if you're a gambling man, the included PSU may well work for a long time without issues... I just decided to up it to a better 525watt PSU for an extra $30 for peace of mind. I am still very happy with this case, and would buy another without hesitation as I find it a very good value (i would just replace the PSU in another build). Overall, great value and a very nice case... and thats what I was focused on... a very good case, which this is.

1 out of 5 eggsPower Supply was DOA

Pros: Good case.

Cons: Power supply was DOA.

Other Thoughts: Given that I lose the return shipping for RMA, the total price of this case makes it not competitive with others in this category. And my replacement case will not arrive in time to make sure that my CPU is OK.

5 out of 5 eggsNice, Very Nice

Pros: I've been using this case for builds that I'm doing for a couple of businesses in my area. I have purchased and deployed 13 of these so far and they perform flawlessly. Can't think of a better deal especially if you have Newegg Premier with free shipping. These are perfect micro ATX cases for normal builds. I wouldn't use them for gaming machines but they are perfect for everything else.

Cons: ???????????? Nothing

4 out of 5 eggsGood little tower

Pros: Easy install and good circulation. Fans are fairly quiet.

Cons: HDD plastic snaps are brittle and I managed to break one before even installing my SSD, but the system is still able to hold it tight. Egg missing because I'd be concerned about installing a HDD in the broken slot due to vibration issues.

Other Thoughts: I would definitely buy another now that I know to be extra careful with the plastic HDD retainers.
