3 out of 5 eggsNot Bad

Pros: Reasonably Priced case with 400W Power Supply. Plenty of space inside for MicroATX board and parts

Cons: Front Control Panel wiring is awkward and the HD Audio cable barely stretched to the port on the motherboard. Fans use standard Molex connectors instead of connecting to the motherboard fan power/monitoring plugs.

Other Thoughts: I really liked the look of this case as it was very OEM-like and I purchased it for a client computer build. I was happy with it until I wanted to use the 3.5" bay for a multi-card reader and noticed the the front control panel wiring for the USB Ports and HD Audio ports was right in the center and was very awkward to get out of the way so I could use the 3.5" bay.

This made the internal wiring even shorter as I had to push it out of the way and the HD Audio cable that connects to the motherboard was barely long enough.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best you'll find for the price!

Pros: -Great Price
-Looks great
-Included fans are good for being only 80mm
-Case supports 120mm fans
-Good variety of drive mounting options (see "Other thoughts")

Cons: -The HDD LED is brighter than the sun, while the power LED is barely visible... a tad annoying
-The PSU's 12V rail is only 11.5A. Keep this in mind if you're tossing in a power-hungry CPU and GPU.
-The SATA power cables are a bit short for the 2.5" hard drive mount (see "Other thoughts")
-Front fan exhaust requires ample clearance UNDER the case for proper ventilation due to lack of vents on the front cover. Get thick rubber feet to keep this from being an issue.

Other Thoughts: The drive mounting specs are WAY off! Shame on you, Newegg!

Here are the correct specs:

1x 2.5" internal (mounts on bottom of case)
2x 3.5" internal
1x 3.5" external
1x 5.25" internal
1x 5.25" external

4 out of 5 eggsNice case for the price!

Pros: Attractive looking case

Cons: Power supply could stand to be a little beefier

Other Thoughts: Very nice looking case, easy to assemble. While the PSU is still working, I replaced it with a Corsair 600W unit, as I think 400W with an i7 is just barely enough.

5 out of 5 eggsSmall and Simple

Pros: Small and simple, worked great for my need. The plastic clips to hold the hard drives are a joke but they provided plenty of screws to secure everything.

Cons: It is a simple case made of thin metal so I would not use it as a step, but to hide away under my desk it works great. My memory modules are short and fit fine under the hard drive but you might have issues if your memory has tall heat sinks on it.

Other Thoughts: I replaced the stock power supply so I cannot speak to it.

4 out of 5 eggsAn OK Case

Pros: It is a good case. It is very basic and has good cosmetic appearance. Yes, buying a case with power supply at this price was a bit of a concern but the Orion power supply does the job. I scoped both CPU power and mother board power feeds prior to installing the mother board and stability was not an issue. You get what you pay for which is a nice bare bone case with base line power supply.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If your expecting great things out of this buy - don't make this purchase but if you want a good base line case - its a good deal.

5 out of 5 eggsHEC Vigilance 400

Pros: Large power and reset button, front usb ports and nice case design with plenty of room for additional fans.

Cons: No instructions. It took me awhile to realize that I needed to remove front plate to mount optical drive. Also, need pen to push optical drive button to close door.

Other Thoughts: Wish case fans were 120mm and optical drive door was better designed for easy access.

4 out of 5 eggsPhenomenal Value as a Shell Shocker

Pros: Ridiculously cheap with Shell Shocker deal. Included power supply and two fans. Very nice appearance. Did I say ridiculously cheap?

Cons: Cut myself on hidden sharp edge, iffy screwless attachments, huge for a mini case! No way that is really a 400W power supply!

Other Thoughts: Bought this because the power supply to my Foxconn R20-D2. That little thing was pretty great... except it had no fans whatsoever. The power supply bit the dust and the cheapest I could find the narrow Channelwell for on yabE was about $61. This HEC case with power supply cost less than a quarter of that after rebate! I love playing Frankenstein with computer parts so this was a fantastic excuse to buy a new case and see if, when all was said and done, "It's alive!"

Pay no attention to the reviews that complain about cheap metal (it's fine) or non-working headphone jacks (they're fine) or DVD drive door issues (it's fine). Especially, pay no attention to those who don't look at the photos or the specs and then complain that only one DVD will fit!

My only gripes are really pretty minor at this price point. I cut myself on a hidden sharp edge while forcing the stupid DVD drive into place (though not as badly as I had in that lethal Foxconn case). Those screwless attachments are sketchy and best supplemented or replaced by screws. The fans are tiny tiny but what do you expect for [almost] nothing. Most of all, that power supply is not heavy enough to anchor a rock to the bottom of a quiet pond: there's no way it's 400W. I doubt it's even 230W or so as one reviewer suggested. I think I built heavier slot car motors as a kid. But when that power supply does go, at least it's a standard size and there are always great deals available on power supplies on The Egg!

5 out of 5 eggsSweet Case

Pros: The case dont look cheap got mine with MIR for around $15,my GF Dell inspiron 530 PSU died and this was the best replacement ever a new look with more power. 1x24 pin 1x4 pin (cpu) 1x6 pin (gpu) and
It got 3 Sata , 2 molex and 1x 3 pin more than what she need, Take front panel out to add DVD drive and Card reader, remove fans from heatsink to add HHD after you install the mobo. and its all tooles
Red And Balck can never go wrong.
next is 2x120mm fans with Red LED.
you can add another fan on the side panel.

Cons: there is none really if you know what you doing.

Other Thoughts: instead of 2 60mm fans 2 120 will be great.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Good Case

Pros: Looks good, great price, easy to install all my hardware. Got it in 2 days (thanks Newegg).

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Bought this case for a low budget build, and it is better than that. Already had motherboard, cpu (heatsink & fan) memory, keyboard, mouse, and monitor (32" TV).

ECS GeFforce 7050M-M
AMD Athlon 64 LE 1640 @2600MHZ
Crucial Ballastix 2ghz
Asus Nividia GeForce 8400GS
Maxtor 4R080L0
Asus DRW-24B1ST
Windows 7 Professional

It all installed without a hitch, and runs cool. Will probably buy another one for a full on build.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The works fine. The power button is perfect for people with slight sight handicap. Optical drive hide door is pretty nice and works great. The plastic HD and optical drive holders are pretty good.

Cons: Case is really big for micro atx. your computer part will look tiny inside. No wire management. Power supply is really limited. You better not have anything still IDE cause they will not fit. Optical drive cannot be installed while the power supply is still on.
