3 out of 5 eggsGood but not great

Pros: -Decent size
-Came with a power supply that is good enough for most setups
-The 2 bays for SSD drives is excellent!
-The sliding hard drive bays are nice
-You only need 2 molex to power up 4 hard drives because of the case backplane.

Cons: -I wish it was still smaller. but its no big deal
-You can see the lights of the drives through the closed cover door. The cover should be less see through.
- The case in general is louder than I wanted it to be. I wound up disconnecting the HD fan altogether.

Other Thoughts: If you need a silent case, imho this isn't the case to go with.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome case

Pros: Excellant setup for windows Home server 2011 or NAS
Stylish doesn't need to be hidden
Well built ( but can Mod as I did)
Total 6 drive Bays (4) 3.5 inch drives and (2) 2.5 inch drive bays
With good search can replace with decent power supply see below.
with power supplies mentioned below can fit Zalman CNPS8900 Extreme Heatsink Low profile
Fits ITX boards well
Great video on YouTube

Cons: Power supply is cheap and most likely will not last
Tight space ( but hey its small )

Other Thoughts: I strongly suggest replace power supply with following if you can find them. I have OCZ StealthXStream OCZ700SXS 700W Power Supply at 5.5 inches deep and fits with room to spare above my heatsink Zalman CNPS8900Extreme. BIG Tip Power supply replacement CAN NOt I repeat NOT exxceed 6 inches long or will NOT fit in this case. Power supply I was going to use was Antec EA-430 Green 430W at 5.5 inches deep.
I also as other reviewer mentioned put in a SilenX EFX-10-12 100mm Case Fan in front to bring more air in through the front connected fan with Rubber Fan Grommets . Increased noise level with Non stock heatsink and 100 mm fan in front to maybe 35-40 dbs compared to original 30 dbs but I can live with faint hum of fans as opposed to server and back up crash from over heating.
Mother board I went with for server build ASUS P8H77 ITX why ??? ONLY ITX I could find with Socket 1155 and 6 SATA ports and supported RAID 10 for my (4) 3TB drives I used Corsair M4 256 SSD drive for OS and windows home server 2011. See my Review at length under Windows Home Server 2011 for tips and tricks to get over issues I ran into with Hardware and WHS 2011

4 out of 5 eggsGood Fan, but needs better Air Flow

Pros: Space for 2 2.5" drives, and 4 Hot Swap, smallish form factor, good construction. I was able to install a samuel 17 cpu cooler with a noctca PWM 120MM X 25 fan with enough clearance under the PSU. Had an issue with wire management with the new PSU, but the stock one had just the right amount of connectors but it ran a little warm. I'm running whs 2011, OS drive installed on a 2.5 inch drive, using 4 2TB drives in the how swap bays making up my stablebit drivepool, and a 6th 2.5" 1 TB drive used for my archived recorded TV folder, very happy with the setup.

Cons: The airflow needed some work, I was running a ceton tuner card and the temps were running 59-61C, replaced the stock PSU, with an Antech 450w 80 Plus platinum, which reduced the air flow even further since the antech fan spins at a much lower RPM. The PSU fan severs as the exhaust fan for the case and cools the PSU. I removed the air flow tube from the 120MM fan drawing air across the HDD as it was only pushing hot air over my MB and CPU Heatsink, I picked up a 100MM Silenex fan, and placed it directly under the 120MM in a horizontal position to pull cool air from the front of the unit and force air out of the case through the side and rear vents, I used the rubber grommets from the fan and attached the fan on the front mesh, holes lined up perfectly no cutting required, you will need to remove the front bezel, and created positive airflow pushing air through the case.

Other Thoughts: Temps on my card dropped 10 degree, 49-50C, I'm going to do what the reviewer below suggest and put some foam on the top of the drive cage, so the 120MM fan pull in more cool air from outside of the unit instead of pulling down hot air from the top of the case. I'm still using the stock fan under the drive bay, but I'm either going to get another Noctca 120mm, or get one of those Scythe 1200 PPM 120X12MM fans, which should allow the clearance under the fan to install a 120MM fan in the horizontal position to create better airflow through the case. There maybe enough room to install a 110MM fan while maintaining a 120X25 for the HDD cage, but I wasn't able to find one. Going to see what the foam on top of the drive cage does first.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it!

Pros: I love this case with the Intel S1200KP motherboard is was designed for! The power supply is extremely steady in it's voltages, and it includes a 4 drive hot swap back-plane. What's not to like about this for $120?

Cons: None that I can see.
We also build on the Chenbro 2U server chassis's, which I also like with the Zippy (Emacs) power supplies.

4 out of 5 eggsNice case

Pros: Nice, small footprint case. Takes a regular ATX PS. Has 4 hot swappable SAS/SATA 3.5" drive sleds. Quiet. Also has internal mounting for 2x 2.5" drives.

Cons: Minus one egg for not having an optical drive bay. I knew this before I purchased. Didn't find a similar case on NewEgg with one, so I purchased this. Power supply mounting is odd. Replacement will be difficult if / when it fails. Fan mounted under hard drive cage doesn't seem to move too much air. May need to upgrade the fan.

Other Thoughts: It is a small case, so things are tight and servicing will be a challenge, aside from the drives. Changing the internal 2.5" drives is easy because you just open the side cover and they are mounted on the sides of the drive cage.

3 out of 5 eggsPoor Power Supply -1 egg

Pros: -Reasonably well built,
-steel is thick accuratly bent and not tinny
-4 hot swap bays
-attractive

Cons: -poor power supply, an oem version, not able to look up specs but estimate to be 70% efficent, power factor as measured by my Kill A Watt is only 0.58. This is not the power supply you would want on a server designed to be on 24x7. In under two years you will pay off the cost of a more efficent supply.
-gets hot, see above comment.
-there is not enough clearence on the front door to leave hard drives unplugged and still close the door--I do not want to keep my backup drive powered up 24x7. I could remove it, but that leaves a hole the messes up the cooling for the other drives.
-The hot swap drive bays are not caddy less. I do not see any benifit to having a drive caddy.
-There is no managed (engineered) air flow through the case, drive cooling fan recirculates air inside the case.
-System is louder than it needs to be (due to the air flow not being engineered).
-no documentation
-I WOULD PAY MORE FOR A 80 PLUS REGISTERED POWER SUPPLY (or offer case without a supply)

Other Thoughts: I like this case, but need to spend time re-engineering the air flow. If anyone wants to follow: Blocked off the side vents, added a 3/4" foam insert between the the hot swap drive cage and the case top to block off the caddy cage air holes so the fan will pull in from outside air, rather than just recirculating the internal air, changed the CPU heat sink to a passive design cooled by the duct from the drive cooling fan, extended the cooling duct over the motherboard so that it will cool the motherboard components, blocked off the rear chasis holes, so the air will be forced to exit through the power supply, plugged the drive cooling fan four pin plug into the motherboard cpu cooler plug, so that the MB can control the fan based on CPU temperature. All this quieted down the system so it is barely audible.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Media Server

Pros: Good material and excellent look
Great airflow

Cons: As another review stated, I completely built my system and it wouldn't post. I looked through the back of the case at the power supply with a flash light and noticed that my PSU was also set to 240v instead of 115v (the reason it wouldn't post). I then just bent a paper clip and reached in and flipped the red switch instead of dissembling the chassis and boom - booted right up

2 out of 5 eggsWas not assembled for use in the US

Pros: This is a great chassis. It's built well, solid steel construction. It has four hot swap bays that support SATA 6.0 Gb/s speeds. It's perfect for a SOHO NAS.

Cons: The power supply is mounted in such a way you can not access the back of it. There is a power cable adapter that plugs into the PWS and the input is on the back of the chassis. I built my system and it wouldn't post. To my extreme surprise after dissembling the chassis I found the pws was set to 230v instead of 115v. BEWARE!!

5 out of 5 eggsGood Stuff

Pros: I absolutely love this case. Great for the price. I love the "server intrusion" switch, the panel lock, the swappable HDD bays. Made from good material. And it just looks good.

Cons: No instructions. It took me a while to figure out why it wasn't powering on. The voltage on the PSU was set to 230 (Needed to open the case and remove it to switch it.) The lights are just a little too bright.

5 out of 5 eggsNice home server

Pros: Good material (steel thickness excellent, plastic good).
Construction good.
Installation of motherboard easy.
Airflow excellent, good cooling of HD (35-45 degrees celsius)
Sound dampening good for HD, quiet powersupply, CPU fan little shielded.

Cons: Power supply only passive PFC. No 80plus certification. Powersupply fan is important for cooling, fanless PSU may not work. The included PSU is quiet and I will probably not replace it.

Other Thoughts: My power supply was set to 240V!
