3 out of 5 eggsDecent case, weird front design

Comments: Overall, I think this is a good case. The weird thing is, I didn't know that the front 5.25's slid down. That, and with the extra little gadgets to make the slide work, it makes it very difficult to take off front panels and put them back on again.

I replaced the ps the day I got it, so I have no review of that, but again, aside from the front, I think its a good case for 50 bucks. Its nice to have a big 120mm fan up front to keep the noise down but the airflow up.

I'd give it 4 stars, but that front sliding thing really got to me.

3 out of 5 eggsNice looking and sturdy, but....

Comments: Hey, it's a great case, but buyer beware.....the AGP and PCI slots are not aligned well. You could compromise the integrity of your cards tweaking it. Good luck

4 out of 5 eggsAttractive case with a

Comments: Nice inexpensive case with a fairly classy sleek appearance and solidly built. I had not significant problems with the installation in the case and with a 120 mm fan in the front and the fans in the power supply (Vantex Ion), the case remains sufficiently cool and quiet. Installing the 120 mm fan in the front of the case was a little tricky as my fingers are either too think or too short.

The power supply provided is pretty much a throw away item. Since I planned to replace it with a more powerful and quiet PS, I have retained that one as a hot spare but otherwise do not plan to use it.

The only significant problem I encountered is that the wires for the front USB panel are apparently mislabeled (a jumble of 10 seperate wires) and I am still trying to sort them out and get the ports operational. I am not overly optomistic. Customer support has been totally unresponsive and the web site is less than useless.

5 out of 5 eggsLooks more expensive than it is

Comments: <a href='http://www.tomshardware.com/howto/20031217/case_review-43.html' target=_blank>http://www.tomshardware.com/howto/20031217/case_review-43.html</a>

PLUSES:
This case looks great. The auto body paint job on the front is just beautiful. It doesn't look exactly like the picture. The case I received had the usb and audio ports at the bottom instead of the 3.5 inch drive bay. I also like the sliding door covering the drive bays because now I don't have to get drive bezel covers to make everything match. The fan placement is wonderful. You can put a big 120mm in the front and two 80mm in the rear. If you need more cooling you can put fans on the top and side vents. This case looks better than my Aluminum Skyhawk case (the one that looks like the silver Lian Li's) that I spent twice as much on.

MINUSES:
The power supply is weak. This didn't really bother me. I've got an extra power supply laying around that I just swapped in.

By the way, Tom's Hardware loved the windowed version of this case back when it was xxxx. Here's the review:

5 out of 5 eggsOk case, not so ok power supply.

Comments: The case was decent, although i definitely can not say the same for the power supply. It's supposed to be a 350w. power supply, however it couldn't anything more than a stock clocked cpu.
The second i tried to raise the clock speed the power supply would hit protection and die, even in the BIOS screen!
I've run more off of an old 300w. power supply and never had it shut down, so that leads me to believe that the one that comes with this case is not worth considering if you plan to do anything other than a upper-mid level CPU and leaving it stock.
I'm not even sure that a Intel CPU would work with it's hightened thirst for power.
