5 out of 5 eggsEpic Case

Pros: Bought this case for my birthday. All I have to say is it ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I'm not about the credibility of this, but CoreTemp showed that idle, the CPU got down to 7C. Yes, 7 degrees Celsius. And that was with the stock heatsink and fan. Other than that though, it sits idle about 20c with, at most, 65c under HEAVY load. I am very satisfied, and with the LEDs and all the fans, you can't go wrong.

Cons: It doesn't make me bacon in the morning?

The only thing I find annoying is no matter how much I search, I can not find another 180mm VEGAS fan for the side. But other than that, no complaints.

Other Thoughts: On a side note, I noticed to VEGAS fans should technically have red LEDs in them as well, and from closer inspection show to have them, but I have yet to figure out how to make them functional (if they actually do exist outside my imagination). Other than that, this is just a wonderful case, and well worth the money!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Value Case

Pros: The most attractive features of this case which stood out from its competition is the five included case fans, of which three are controlled by the case. The case includes a sliding speed control switch at the top of the case for the two front 140mm blue LED fans and the side 180mm blue LED side fan. The case also has a push-button next to the slinding control switch which controls the various LED blue light arrays. Pretty Cool!

The build quality is good but not great compared to my other case- original Cooler Master RC-690 which the case has a striking resemblence to.

Cons: I have taken off one star with regret because of a few minor issues and nitpicks.

1. Case was missing rubber insert for one of the rear feet

2. LED for one of the front 140mm fans did not work

3. Space for cable management could be a little wider

4. Second 180mm side fan is not currently available to purchase

Other Thoughts: I contacted customer support about the missing rubber foot insert, the defenctive 140mm LED fan, and about purchasing a second 180mm side fan. Thankfully, they agreed to send me a rubber foot insert, replace the 140mm fan, and had some inventory of 180mm fans to sell.

Given the excellent customer support and the great value of this case which comes with a three warranty, I will increase my rating to 4.5 stars.

4 out of 5 eggsVery impressed esp for price

Pros: I put my first computer together in 92 and have put together every system since. Still have I have used a laptop and just recently put together my first computer in probably 5 years.

I studied out quite a bit to determine which case to buy. When this came on sale I snatched it up.

I am running a 3220 CPU and 7850 factory OC GPU (1MB). I am running the GPU further overclocked, factory cooler on both. CPU runs from 26 C to 37 C, and gpu 32 C to 37C. Typically my CPU is actually running a bit hotter.

Cons: The only complaint I have is I would like a bit more space behind the MOBO. Space is probably sufficient for most but it would make things a bit easier I believe.

I would not let this be much of a deterrent space is sufficient to make things work.

Other Thoughts: Some have commented the factory cables are a bit short. I did not find this to be the case at all. I think most people are going to reroute these cables how they would like. I am not making a 'straight' run with these cables and everything reaches. All my cables are routed how I want, and my audio how no extra room but it is not 'tight'.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Lots of front port options, Lots of room, lots of fans

Cons: I bought a micro motherboard for a lga 775 Q9550. It was the only option. I wanted to get some more use from the CPU. My old motherboard crashed and I wanted a new case.
The front port cables were under the motherboard and traveled up form another opening. Most connections were too short, so I had to cut the ties and reroute them. The installation sheet is hard to follow. The hard drive installation took some figuring out, but works well. The top external sata hookup does not work with the southbridge chipset which is what the Asus motherboard has. I pluged in a sata drive and it was not recognized, so I turned off the computer and tried it again and it worked. Then I unpluged the drive while the computer was on and it crashed.
The Asus motherboard does not support AHCI in the BIOS.

4 out of 5 eggsNot for water cooling without mods!

Pros: I like the color, paint job and high quality material used. Grate for aircooling. Plenty of room for any size graphics card. Plenty of hideaway places for a clean wire management.

Cons: It says its water cooling compatible but not with out mods. I really liked the case up until I was putting my water cooler in it. There is no room at the inside sealing to mount the fans and the rad. The fans would hit my motherboards heatsinks. I would had to cut the top and mount either the rad or the fans on top which I did not want to do. I would like to have a clean flat top rather than a humpback. I would then need to buy fan shrouds that cost about $30 to make it look half decent. I wanted to use a Thermaltake water 2.0 extreme and I couldnt do it without cutting the top.

Other Thoughts: Im not really a fan of the verticle HDD mounts. I preffer the trays. Overall it is a good case, just not for me. It is now returned. Getting a NZXT switch 810 full tower instead. Im sure I wont have any restrictions with that one.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Great Solid Product, Build quality is very nice. Some reviews stated that they were not able to get a optical drive inserted into the top slot but I had no such problem at all. Love the number of fans and ergonomics are excellent. Customer service is also super.

Cons: The one con i can think of is that the way they allow a SSD to be mounted does not allow for use of the L-Shaped SATA3 cable. Very difficult to explain but is easily remedied buy finding a new mount location or just by getting a straight SATA3 cable

Other Thoughts: Overall love the case. I will be a customer for life.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat overall choice

Pros: I must say I really enjoy the extra fan spots even though I have a few of them still empty. Overall the build quality of this case is far better than the apevia cases I would usually purchase in the same price range. If you consider case airflow to be a science then this is the case for you. Plenty of space for most graphics cards as well.

Cons: Not enough room to mount my corsair h100 without removing the top cover, so if you plan on using some sort of watercooling setup I suggest not purchasing anything with a radiator that long.

Other Thoughts: In my opinion this is one of the best cases I have seen for how much it costs, if you want something better you will have to pay more.

4 out of 5 eggsGoodish

Pros: Mostly well built. Extra expansion slot. Blue lights are spiffy. Installation of extra HDs on the side is intuitive and there are lots of rubber grommets; just be VERY careful because the grommets appear very fragile (see cons). Cable management is adequate after you deal with the initial mess. Quiet enough to filter out the noise in my head (it has a huge side vent; don't expect miracles).

Cons: One of the rubber grommets for the side fan has broken off already; I'm not sure how it came off. The bottom filter can only be accessed by flipping the case on it's side and I don't think it's meant to detach from the case. You have to deal with the initial cable mess or the motherboard side will not close after you start adding more cables.

Other Thoughts: If I could do my build over I would get a different case - mostly for aesthetic reasons, such as going with a side window instead of a side vent. There are enough nitpicks for me to think about it but it is a good enough case that I'm not going to swap everything into a better case.

Be careful when you pick up the case as many of the panels come off; lift from the bottom sides!!

4 out of 5 eggsOne of the Best Mid-Tower Cases

Pros: Can mount additional front 120mm fan.
Can turn off fan LEDs.
Front, top, and bottom removable filters.
Vertical mounting SSDs/HDs allows great air-flow.
Stock fans are really quiet, even at the highest setting.
Comes with 5 fans!

Cons: Can't use right-angled SATA cables for vertical-mounted SSDs/HDs.
Could have used an extra 1/4" depth on the right side for better cable management.
While 0.7mm SGCC is good, I feel they could have added more thickness to make the case more sturdy (I would have been willing to pay extra for it).

Other Thoughts: I researched over 50 mid-tower cases without considering price, and this was the best case I found for my criteria. Even though Enermax is not a well-recognized brand, this case was really well put-together. The top 5.25" bay can easily be used for a disc drive. All you have to do is arrange the cables which only takes a minute. I really don't understand why others were having trouble with it.
