5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Bang for the Buck

Pros: Drive Sleds, two 120mm fans, cable management, PSU filter, Room for additional fans, folded metal edges, fan controller, tool-less optical drive mounts, looks great. $65!

Cons: A bit cramped to work in if you want your cabling to look nice. The bezel has to come off if you want to clean the front air filter. Really minor stuff for a case at this pricepoint though. If you are on a budget, this one is hard to beat.

Other Thoughts: For the price, this case is hard to beat. It's easily the best cheap case I have ever used for a build. It's a lot like a slightly less nice Corsair Graphite 600T.

5 out of 5 eggsJust building...

Pros: Good case, nice paint job

Cons: Front panel Audio cable too short

Other Thoughts: the Front panel audio cable is too short to reach the port on my Gigbyte 990FXA-UD3 M/b...Also had problems with the back panel plate supplied with the M/b – will try again from inside the case (it looks [on first examination] like the panel goes in a slot between the inner and outer parts of the back; it doesn't!)

5 out of 5 eggsNice case

Pros: Screwless for the most part. Fits everything you need including SSD. I like the top SATA dock which I didn't even realize was on this.

Cons: Could use another fan but not a big deal. It does have 1 medium one on the back.

Other Thoughts: Impressed with this case. Glad I bought it.

4 out of 5 eggsthis case + h80

Pros: it comes with a nice paint job and removable HD rack. has enough room for a mid-tower

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: i purchased this today for my son's new build,i didnt go looking for it but when i saw this case i knew i would buy it. white is the new black for cases! i also read here that some people couldn't get the corsair h80 water cooler installed. having bought my second h80 i got worried so i just finished installing that into this case. it DOES fit, although at the top of the side panel where the radiator is it is a snug fit BUT the panel does close. lucky for me,that and it was 20$ cheaper than here! sorry newegg iam a loyal customer for over 10 years but it is what it is.

5 out of 5 eggsGood case, not great

Pros: I purchased the black version last week for a new build, it is now out of stock and says discontinued, so I thought I'd give an updated review here.

There is no vibration dampening around the PSU area, but the PSU fits in so tightly, there isn't any need. I fit a CX500 in this case, it's perfectly silent.

I saw someone mention about water cooler installation on this case and that they had issues. I can see why. The panel that you remove to access the inside of the case sits up against the rear fan opening, so installing a fan/watercooler to the case, even if the water cooler is flush with the edge of the fan, will interfere with this access door, actually, it interferes with the black rivets that hold the clear window to the door. I had to remove the two upper most rear rivets (they just pull out) from the windowed door in order to install the door, the door is up against the radiator. To me, it doesn't take away from the looks, but someone more 'obsessed' might have issue with missing to rivets...

The drive bays are excellent in this case. They snap on to 3.5" drives, and are drill to accept 2.5" ssd drives. The case comes with 4 screws for the PSU (but your PSU will most likely come with them as well), 3 extra mobo standoffs and enough mobo screws (same size you would use for mounting ssd drives) to mount your atx mobo and have enough screws left over to mount ~ 3 drives @ 4 screws each.

I'm not using the built in fan controller, power for it is supplied from a 4 pin molex, it will control up to 3 fans. My mobo, ASRock Z77 extreme6 had more than enough fan connectors to do the job. I relocated the rear 120mm fan to the top of the case for additional exhaust, there are longer screws included with the case to allow you to do this.

The lone front panel USB 3.0 port connects to the motherboard, but I find the connector which attaches to the mobo to not be the tightest fitting. If you get in your case and mess around, good chance you'll bump it enough to lose connection, I did. When seated, it works great though.

The Sata dock up top is tight to fit a drive too, but it does work. It has an attached sata cable, and power is provided by a 4 pin molex connector. (this feature on my preferred case works like butter), I'm just glad this one works, I use this feature a lot.

I/O wires were well labeled, with the ^ indicating which is the positive, mobo was labeled equally as well, no need to refer to manual to get it right the first time.

Front panel knock outs for 5.25" bays and the mesh in front of the front panel fan all have foam filter material, nice touch. Frt panel just pulls off for easy filter cleaning access. Top just pulls off as well.

Wire management is adequate, would like to see even an 1/8" more space behind mobo tray, but what it comes with is acceptable.

Cons: These aren't really cons to me, just difference. My preferred case is the Cooler Master 690 II, I just like the style and features. This case is cheaper cost wise, and material wise.

Other Thoughts: To me, it's not as sharp looking as the CM 690II, but its pretty good looking. I don't go for gaudy, I'd rather have a front fan led on/off switch as opposed to the fan speed switch.

If this case is really being discontinued, I can understand why with it having limited water cooler options. I do think, with some minor enginuity a person could install a fan/radiator combo up top simply by drilling out the threaded fan holes, placing the fan between the wire mesh top and the radiator inside the case, this would require one of the thinner radiators so it wouldn't hit the VRM heatsinks, should your mobo have them.

It's hard finding the perfect case, this one's good, the 690II is that much better.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect case, great value

Pros: Hoplite == Ancient Greek Warrior. c. 750 bce.

LOL, even though I knew the dimensions, I didn't know how large this case was going to be, but it was a pleasant surprise. This will take over as my movie server with five hard drives used in RAID-0 (~7.5TB,~ 400MB R/W speeds).

Oh I am tired of my three black cases; they're awesome but white is a nice reprieve, even if it isn't bright white, it's off-white. I have actual beige cases and am so totally over them too (ten years ago).

Some of the height of the case is because of the feet, but the feet do raise the case much farther off the floor for good airflow; even though the little rubber pads on the feet will probably fall off some day (cheap).

I'm ambivalent about the case psu air filter since I use the power supply as an exhaust fan (saves adding yet one more case fan), so my psu fan points up; although, openings with filters are a good thing.

Cons: n/a

Other Thoughts: -- room behind the motherboard side for aesthetic wire routing. I sought a wide case and at 7.87" this one is okay, although could use another 1/2".

5 out of 5 eggsEnermax FTW!

Pros: Wow I love this case! It’s so sleek and sophisticated, but simple. I really like the design of the side acrylic panel and the overall body. I was debating whether to get a black version or white, but so glad I went with white. I’ve got some enermax white cluster LED fans, that I won at a LAN party, thrown into my build and it is a beauty! I must say, although it was a tough fit, it wasn’t impossible to install my 120mm water cooler. I think enermax really found a sweet spot for their case’ prices, they’ve got similar bells and whistles as pricier cases I’ve seen. The company definitely deserves more recognition for the quality they put out.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Meshes so well with my enermax platimax 1350w and dual SLI gtx 690s

1 out of 5 eggsfollow up. Still no H2O

Pros: see previous post

Cons: see above

Other Thoughts: Checked fit once I removed MOBO...... It looks like the holes for a 120mm fan don't line up at allbecause the 120mm rad cannot fit in the rear exhaust spot. Looks like they forgot to check the size of the largest 120mm rad and went with the smallest they could find. won't bother w/ RMA. Friend said he'd buy it. BTW he doesn't have H2O.

2 out of 5 eggsH2O no go

Pros: nice case good features

Cons: will not accept 120mm radiator anywhere

Other Thoughts: This would have been an excellent case for my Maximus V Gene, but it will not fit a 120mm rad with or without fans, up top or in the usual spot at the rear. The area in the rear is too narrow for a H80i as well as a Cool-it ECO which is the smaller of the two. Will not accept either one in the top section either. Don't advise purchasing if H2O will be used unless you plan on modding. My H80i sort of sat on the lip at the rear but was also resting on my vid card which is a no go.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Value Customer,

This case is compatible with most 120mm liquid coolers at the rear. We will look into the specific model that you have.

Thank you for your support!
