5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's sturdy. I plan on using these cases as shielding on my mad max car after the apocalypse. Holds lots of drives in lovely cages. It is the ugliest case I own but my favorite. I'm on my 3rd motherboard upgrade in this. The drive cages all have rubber mounts (for the cage not the individual drives).

Cons: Heavy. The 5" drive bay requires a dance to get it in and out. The fan mounts in the back could be sturdier. They seem to want to come loose.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case, Great PRice

Pros: Low cost and well equipped. Lots of room.

Cons: The fans are complete junk. Thankfully I purchased decent fans from NewEgg with this case. Spend the extra cash and get some decent fans these are a total waste of power.

4 out of 5 eggsGood to work in

Pros: - Spacious, good to work in

Cons: - Included fans (120 mm in the front, and a single 80 mm in the rear (there's space for 2)) are 2-pin only. I replaced these with 4 pin PWM fans so the motherboard can control the speed.
- The latch on the front rotates a bit too easily, I feel like it will accidentally rotate & the front door will fall open.
- The air filter is in the front door, which doesn't seal entirely. There's a half-inch gap in the bottom of the door around the filter.

Other Thoughts: - Front panel USB connectors are 2.0, you'll need to buy something separate if you want USB 3.0 on the front.
- I'm not sure what the 'Fan Fail' light on the front is supposed to hook to.

2 out of 5 eggsGood and Bad

Pros: It's solid and heavy. Was able to mount motherboard and drives.

Cons: Redundant power supply does not fit. The 5.25" cage covers do not come off easily. Screws just turn and turn. Had to drill them out. Have to file the case a bit to get the power supply in. Put together poorly.

Other Thoughts: I won't buy this brand again. I'd rather pay more for something nice.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid case

Pros: Sturdy, well built case with plenty of options for mounting your motherboard, drives, and psu. The drive cages were easy to remove for hdd installation and there were no sharp edges anywhere. The psu slot has a removable adapter plate so that I was able to easily install a redundant unit with swappable modules, rather than a standard ATX unit.

Cons: Not all the holes in the motherboard mounting plate were threaded. I had to thread several to allow me to attach the standoffs for an E-ATX board. Also, the overheat/fan fail led connector was non-standard, more like a fan connector than the jumper header style most motherboards use.

Other Thoughts: I haven't tried mounting to the rack yet. It doesn't look like it has many mounting options other than cantilevering the entire thing from the front bracket.

5 out of 5 eggsI like it.

Pros: Has all the bells and whistles most people will need.

Cons: Bright LEDs on the front. Oh well.

Other Thoughts: The door can be a pain to open if you don't lock the slide.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value

Pros: Spacious, solid construction, all the parts were there, zero issues on build, lots of room to expand in the future, like the front door with the fan filter in it.

Cons: very deep (hardly a con really) and heavy (again, not an issue per say) .

Other Thoughts: Built my DAW in this box and it's huge size allows for lots of cable management as I see fit. Fans I replaced from the drop, but airflow is great throughout. You have to drop the cages to add drives; but that's no big deal. For the money, I am very happy.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter Than I Expected!

Pros: Incredibly solid. Made of steel and very 'industrial' quality. It has plenty of room inside for cable management and giant video cards. The steel is really rugged and the foam on the front (for filtering air) is great. I can't believe the price is so low, really the best bang for the buck of a case I've ever had! All metal edges are perfectly rounded and smooth; all holes line up perfectly; E-ATX motherboard fit beautifully and i7 Extreme heatsink fits fine. Power switch is awesome. Optical drive lines up perfectly.

Cons: This case doesn't have those white silicone stoppers you find under hard drive cages and PSUs, so your PSU will be floating in the air and torquing the screws on the outside. I had to cut the molex connectors for the HDD LED to connect it to my motherboard because the case comes with 3pin with one blank while motherboards use 2 pin connections. Comes with fan mounting brackets that decide how you connect your 80mm fans. The 5.25" optical cage is super hard to remove, just use brute force. Overall it's a rather noisy case.

Other Thoughts: Reset switch is TINY, seriously, you can barely see it! The case comes with a bracket for multiple hard drives and 'support' for PCI cards: just toss it, there's no way this will fit back into your case if you put a motherboard in. For me it doesn't matter, but I built a studio/workstation with 2 hard drives and not 9. Also, I was planning to put watercooling into this machine: forget it. There's an icecube's chance in hell of fitting a watercooling system in here unless you do some serious cutting and welding. Not to say it isn't a roomy case, it is, but I'd say if you're thinking of building a watercooled beast, just get a rackmounted watercooler and go that route. This case feels very heavy because it's awkward to lift and move around.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Solid construction.
Large.

Cons: It only comes with one fan. Not a big deal for me, I bought separate low dBA ones anyway.
It would have been nice for the USB port and power switch to be accessible without opening the case, but it's okay I guess.

Other Thoughts: IMPORTANT: There's about 145mm of room for your CPU heatsink. I wouldn't get anything larger than 140mm if you want to play it safe. The one I got was 152mm and I got it on, but it pushes the lid up a couple mm. Of course, this probably applies to all 4U cases, not just this one.
