3 out of 5 eggsBe careful when using eATX motherboards.

Pros: Sturdy case, nice features. The channels up top are nice to be able to tuck the wires away. The removable bays are a nice touch if you're not using an eATX motherboard. If the side duct doesn't line up with the processors, it can always removed to install a case fan. Being able to add a front 120mm fan at the front of the lower drive bay is nice to keep the hard drives cool.

Cons: The specifications on both newegg, and the manufacturer's website list "This case can take eATX motherboard ". I doubt any of the designers have actually tried to install one. It takes an act of contortion to fit an eATX board in unless you remove the drive bays and unscrew the metal bay rails and take EVERYTHING out of the case, and then the removable bays don't fit back in quite right unless everything is low profile on the motherboard. Both 3.5" removable bays sit over the eATX motherboard, and I had to do some physical modification because the heatsink on one of the processors collided with both removable bays and even the rails when the bays were removed. The heatsinks are stock heatsinks, and are NOT oversized. This all kind of defeats the principal of "screwless design" when you have to "unscrew" everything just to fit your motherboard in.

Other Thoughts: It's not that it's a horrible case, because it is very sturdy and would work great for a standard ATX board, but for the price of the case, I would think it should function a little more like it's supposed to and accept an eATX board without modification. I have built literally hundreds of computers, desktops and servers, and have never had this much difficulty with a case, even the cheap ones. The case would be great for a standard ATX board, but not an eATX as it is claimed to be able to handle. Although, it would be slightly better for reinstalling the drive bays and bay rails if the processors are all fully on the rear side of the board. If you have a largely populated eATX board, get a bigger case.

5 out of 5 eggsfits workstation big

Pros: fit in a tyan eATX board with giant scythe katana 2 coolers, to do so had to remove the 3.5 bays, simple screw removal, still had the 4 5.25 bays and with regular fans wouldn't need to remove the 3.5's. Built for 2 120 mm fans, one, thr exhaust, included with intake added system very cool. Thats with a large 750 W psu which also fit. Big box
but still a mid tower.

Cons: wish is came with both front and back fan, instead of just back

Other Thoughts: this case is about 2 1/2 inches taller than standard atx case about an 3/4 inch wider and a little longer

3 out of 5 eggsAwesome, if you like drilling holes.

Pros: Amazingly sturdy case, it could take a beating if you're into smashing around your computers. The removable hard drive trays are great, the slide-in 5.25" bays work perfectly. It's got a really good rugged construction.

Cons: While assembling the case I took a triple-take between it and the directions. It's missing holes.

Not just holes, but the 8 holes that the HSF for a quad-core Xeon processor mounts to. There aren't enough standoffs (those little gold pieces), thankfully the motherboard manufacturer (ASUS) included some.

Cooling is somewhat limited, front fan & rear fan. Random side duct that ducts to the RAM not the processors.

And those plastic fan mounts, don't expect to just pull them off and mount the fans to the case, theres not enough room.

Other Thoughts: I enjoy modding and have no problem chopping up a case. The necessary things to do to get this case to work aren't hard if you're okay with doing such things. Drilling some holes, cutting out chunks of the HDD holders.

I don't want to scare people away from it, it is a good case, just needs some help.

It's also got C-Body construction, meaning the other side panel doesn't come off. Good and bad.

5 out of 5 eggsGood, but heavy

Pros: The case is solidly built, nothing flimsy about it. Both the internal and external 3.5 bays pop straight out with the removal of (at most) a single screw, with vibration dampers built right in. Front comes off easy, cleaning looks to be a breeze. Even the area where the cables from the PSU drop down into the body is fringed with rubber to keep the cables from breaking. Exactly what I wanted.

Cons: the LAN light is completely useless. Seriously, that's the only CON.

Other Thoughts: If you're willing to spend the money for a good, solid case, this is the one to get.
