3 out of 5 eggsCheap, but fails basic sanity test

Pros: Supports normal ATX power supply and a regular ATX motherboard. Inexpensive.

Cons: Badly designed.

The whole thing is a bit awkward, simply because a regular ATX board and a regular ATX PSU don't easily fit in a 2U case. The PSU can't have its fan on the bottom, else it will be completely covered. The a PSU fan actually exhausts air toward the front of the case, against the flow of all of the other fans. Not much the designers could really do about this.

The PSU fits on the right side of the case (and the power input is on toward the side). Depending on how the 3-prong AC input is aligned right-angle power cable that also bends toward the outside of the case. Simply put, it doesn't fit power supplies with the middle prong below the two outer prongs.

You've got to move the PSU into the place of the 5.25" bays, which means you can't screw it down.

The edges of the case are sharp. This is especially bad since I think I literally had to remove *every* *single* *screw* in the process of installing a system in it. To begin with, the primary advantage of this case is that it takes a regular ATX board, but the fans are pre-installed onto the divider in such a way that an ATX board (or a micro-ATX board for that matter) wouldn't fit. Have fun cutting your knuckles on sharp edges while you unscrew 24 screws holding the fans and grills and then rescrewing them all on the opposite side.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: Sturdy, cheap, easy to move parts around

Cons: The layout is suboptimal in a few ways. First, there is a row of fans in the middle of the case that stick out toward the motherboard compartment. I had to take these out and re-screw them to the other side of the center bar to get my ATX motherboard to fit.

Second, the spot for the power supply blocks nearly all airflow to the motherboard compartment. To prevent major overheating, I had to put the power supply where the CD drives are supposed to go (lucky for me my build didn't need CD drives).

Third, the holes to thread cords from the front to the back compartment are a little small.

A few sharp edges.

Other Thoughts: All in all I got it done without serious modding, just moving lots of parts around. I bought 2 of these to start, and just ordered 5 more, so I'd say I'm a satisfied customer.
