5 out of 5 eggsGood DIY case.

Pros: The case is exactly what I expected, nothing more nothing less.

It fits my mini-ITX board just fine. I'm using this in my apartment to house the PFSense router I am building which is very low power so I did not want the server style fans, did not have any issues replacing them with 2 40mm Noctua fans. There were a lot more screws than I am used to with consumer style cases but it just took more time, not more thinking. I even managed to fit the silicone style fan holders through the screw holes. There are 90 degree bends at the top and bottom going towards the front of the case but the base of the silicone anti-vibration mounts were flexible enough that it was not an issue.

Cons: No documentation, but it is such a simple case this is not an issue and all of the front panel connectors were clearly labeled.

Would have liked a power supply delete bracket to cover the PSU hole, but nobody is going to see the backside of my rack when it is done.

The only real complaint I have is that there is nothing for cable management in this case. The front panel connectors and USB header for my board are on the far end of the board so I had to try to tuck those wires under the silicone fan holders since they stick out pretty far. The only area I can think to do wire management is to wrap these cables over the backside of the front panel circuit board and tuck them into front fascia, but then they would be right in front of the fans. It looks like there is room, though.

Other Thoughts: My board is a thin style mini-ITX that came with both thin style and regular sized I/O shields. I can verify that you can use this thinner I/O shield in the case with a slight gap above it. The regular size one is definitely to big to fit without some trimming, so keep that in mind when you are purchasing a board or you might run into clearance issues.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Quality Case

Pros: Roomy, Sturdy, Looks Good (even though it's going in a rack), The fans that come with is rattled for about 10 seconds after they turned on for the first time but after that they have not given me any trouble.

Cons: The top had a slight bow to it when it arrived.

Other Thoughts: A good, quality case.
A standard I/O panel for an ATX case is not the same as a standard 1u I/O panel.

2 out of 5 eggsNot Worth it

Pros: Thin, good price.

Cons: 2 problems with this case. It is 5 mm to short to fit the motherboard's faceplate, so you have to cut it, and it ain't pretty.

Cables get kind of crammed in there.

The 2 fans inside the unit are so loud, they sound like a chopper and cheap, honestly I don't think they will hold for long. That is the main reason I returned the case.

Other Thoughts: It would have been a nice server case. I got this to build a router. But small details like the faceplate not fitting because of 5 mm (would be fine if they included a substitute with the case).

If there is a standard size for things why mess with it?
