Antec 900 Ultimate Gaming Cases

Antec Nine Hundred

The Most Versatile Gaming Case Ever!
Ultimate gamer case? You bet! With a partially perforated package that still finds room for four huge yet quiet fans, you have a seriously cool gaming case, and that's no joke. You can expect the Antec 900 to be ready for lift off, especially with the 200mm TriCool exhaust fan and perforated port atop this stylish case. Even mount a 120mm fan on the side panel! Contrary to some expectations, this case is extremely quiet, unless you have all the fans going at their highest settings, at which point you might hear...something.

The 5.25" bays will hold optical drives, burners, or even (gasp!) your aging floppy drive, and up to six 3.5" drives can be installed in cages behind the fans, arranged along the front any way you like. This case provides a plethora of possibilities, with room to explore new configurations of all the pieces. The PSU, in a departure, is at the bottom of the case, for better stability and thermal environment for the CPU.

The side window on the case, in addition to letting you show things off, provides additional ventilation, either by way of the vented screen or by the fourth fan in the box mounted into plastic for a clear and elegant installation. This is a sturdy case built of steel, with enough cooling technology to keep things frosty in the hottest action. Take one home today and build yourself the "coolest" rig around!

5 out of 5 eggsPretty good case

Pros: Sturdy case. I like the buttons on top. Also it's heavy enough that my one year old can't move it like my old case. Also has good air flow.

Cons: I agree with the cable management issue. Just not a lot of extra space for it. Minor issue however

Other Thoughts: It's a good smaller to mid size build case. Not a lot of expansion room if you have a lot of cables

3 out of 5 eggsLow Quality Buttons

Pros: This case does look good!

Cons: I had to open the top panel and re-solderthe power and reset switch because the heat shrick didn't hold the cables in place.

Other Thoughts: Overall not too bad but the low quality really put me off.

4 out of 5 eggsGood case overall

Pros: It's a big case with plenty of space and it seems like high quality construction. Lots of cooling fans built in, some with nifty blue LEDs.

Cons: I can't be totally sure if it was the case or my motherboard (ASrock Fatal1ty Performance H97), but something just seemed a little bit off on the dimensions throughout construction, making it to plug in pci e stuff and attach it to the case as well.

Other Thoughts: The built in fans can be set to three speeds through physical switches inside of the case. You will probably not be adjusting these frequently. Setting 3 is loud and annoying, without a perceptible cooling advantage over setting 2.

5 out of 5 eggsSix Years Running

Pros: The pros really speak for themselves. I've had this case for six years. I've had to replace no fans, no holes are stripped, and the usb and other inputs are still working as the day I first bought the case.

It is a solid, dependable case providing great airflow. I've had my I7 940 overclocked to 4.1 on air without any heating problems. That speaks not only to the chip and the heatsink, but the entire case's ability to move air through it (note, I did add the additional fan when I started overclocking that high).

All in all. This is your case. Buy it.

Cons: If you wanted to get real picky, there could have been a tad bit more thought put into wire management. Nah, ignore that.

Other Thoughts: Buy the case and be done with this part of your search.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Case

Pros: Great airflow. Great looking case. Lots of room for components.

Cons: Top fan blade eventually lowered until it contacted the fan case. Very annoying. I keep trimming the outer part of the fan blades to keep the fan operational. Seems like a design flaw. Failed after 2 years of use.

3 out of 5 eggsGood basic build case

Pros: -Very good looking case, especially with the blue LED fans.
-Great basic airflow.
-Very sturdy construction\.
-All factory fans still work after 3 years

Cons: -Horrible cable management
- tough to fit long/multiple graphics cards, water cooling radiators, or higher end PSUs with lots of cables.

Other Thoughts: Bought this a bit over three years ago for my original build. It worked extremely well for that build because it was a relatively basic build. The case quickly got cramped after upgrading.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: The case itself is very nice, a lot of airflow, very nice to look at with the bay windows and the blue LED fan.

This thing is made of small modules for the H.D.D easy access but not the most intuitive that i`ve seen.

The fans on the case are very silent, i took one egg out because of small issue with the top mounted 200mm "Big Boy" TriCool exhaust fan. If the computer is shutdown and the fan stop completely, 5 time out of 10 it will need a small push to start it up.Since this machine will probably run most of the time it is a small issue for me. But still a defect on a very nice case.

Overall my nice case yet :)

Cons: Small issue with the top mounted 200mm "Big Boy" TriCool exhaust fan.
