Ultimate gamer case? Just maybe. With a partially perforated package that still finds room for four huge yet quiet fans, you have a seriously cool gaming case, and that's no joke. You expect the Antec Nine Hundred to be ready for lift off, especially with the 200mm TriCool exhaust fan and perforated port atop this stylish case. You can even mount a 120mm fan on the side panel! Contrary to some expectations, this case is very quiet, unless you have all the fans going at their highest settings, at which point you might hear . . . something.

The 5.25" bays will hold optical drives, burners, or even (gasp!) your aging floppy drive, and up to six 3.5" drives can be installed in cages behind the fans, and these can be arranged along the front any way you like. This case provides a plethora of possibilities, and room to explore placement of all the pieces. The PSU, in a departure, is at the bottom of the case, for better case stability and thermal environment for the CPU.

The side window into the case, in addition to letting you show things off, provides additional ventilation, either by way of the vented screen, or by the fourth fan in the box, mounted into clear plastic, for a clear and elegant mounting. This is a sturdy case built of steel, with enough cooling technology to keep things frosty in the hottest action. Take one home today and build yourself the "coolest" rig around!

  • newegg 200mm TriCool Fan The Antec Nine Hundred features a unique top-mounted 200mm TriCool exhaust fan to cool even the hottest systems.
  • newegg Superior Expandability with 9 Drive Bays The Antec Nine Hundred’s nine drive bays provide three possible configurations including 3 x 5.25-inch external and 6 x 3.5-inch internal drive bays, or 6 x 5.25-inch external and 3 x 3.5-inch internal drive bays, or 9 x 5.25-inch external drive bays. With the included 3.5-inch drive bay cover and Floppy Adapter, install a floppy drive in any 5.25-inch drive bay as well!
  • newegg Transparent Side Panel Window The Antec Nine Hundred's transparent side panel window provides a direct view of the inner system and a 120mm fan can be installed on the side panel for maximum heat dissipation.
  • newegg Extreme Airflow and Cooling The Antec Nine Hundred features one 200mm TriCool fan on the top, two 120mm front blue LED fans, one 120mm rear fan and optimized internal airflow for peerless cooling performance.

5 out of 5 eggsNot Too Shabby

Pros: So far so good. Like many reviewers have said, it has an amazing air flow with the amount of fans it provides. Fortunately the fans that came with it are working for the time being; that and their speeds can be adjusted. Some might not like the LED cause it really illuminates the room if you turn the lights off. Personally, I find it a cool feature within the blue honeycombed lightings; makes it feel kinda futuristic. The dock on top is nice because I have an external hdd and it fits snug there. It's a nice feature. USB 3.0 and the front panel audio ports are good to have also.

Cons: Despite good airflow, it can pull in a lot of dust. It can be a nightmare without dust filters, seeing that other cases supply them. Cable management can also be troublesome unless you have a modular PSU; which really helps. The fan noise personally is a tad loud on the mild side, but it's bearable. I currently have them all set to Medium but plan to switch them to Low once it gets cooler.

Other Thoughts: Great case overall if you want optimal airflow. Be sure to stock up on air dusters though. Only thing I wish for is that the case would be a bit more quieter, but then again the case was basically designed for optimal cooling, so you're bound to hear the fans. It's tolerable in my opinion. But if you're knit picky about having a nonexistent sound case; then I'd suggest elsewhere.

3 out of 5 eggsGood case, bad fans?

Pros: Putting everything together was easy, no complaints. It's a great case, great airflow, looks cool (a bit bright). Pretty much what I expected.

Cons: The big top fan was dead on arrival. When powering up it would twitch once and then sit still. Antec was pretty quick to send me a free replacement... And the replacement was broken as well! This one wouldn't even spin at all. I took it apart to try to fix it and one of the blades snapped off (oops). But when I put it together it spun at least. Another email to Antec and they sent me a third (free) replacement fan which finally worked perfectly. But now it's been a few months and the front fans are starting to get noisy. :( Might just take them out and replace them myself with quality fans.

Retaining 3 eggs because of how quickly Antec replaced the first two DOA fans.

Other Thoughts: Solid case, good construction, poor fans.

5 out of 5 eggs1st case, awesome

Pros: Comes with fans! Cheap! Sturdy! Good ventilation! Can put a lot of fans!

Cons: It is a mid case and I am starting to run out of room!
Wiring management is a little hard to keep them hidden but you can hide them just takes some patients.

Other Thoughts: USPS didn't take care of it during shipping, all corners on box was beaten in, the top is made fan housing is made from plastic and the clips were all broken off. Nothing a little fix with glue can't fix! Wasn't hard so didn't take off a egg. Just a FYI for people who order. Nothing else other then that.

This is my first case and I have had it longer then a year and still love looking at it and showing it off!!

4 out of 5 eggsgreat product

Pros: quiet and good ventilation

I got about 29cm/11.4' free for graphic card IF I DON'T put my HHD at le level of my gf. if you absolutly need to put a 3.5' HHD you have 24cm/9.5' free

if you have a lot of HHD and 1 ssd i recommend you fit the ssd at the same level that the graphic cart if its verry long

setup
mb: Asus p8z77 V-LK
cpu: Intel I5 3570k
ram: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 1600
gf: xfx 7850 2gb
HHD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB and OCZ vertex 3 120gb
pwrs: corsair CX600
case: Antec nine hundred

Cons: I spend about an hour and a half trying to get fitter my HHD and SSD Because the hole was exactly at the good place (bad precision build) and the top ... it is an extreme sport to remove there

there are pine (6) 4 available by searching a bit, but the last two he turns one you need is a foot to reach the pines. More when you press the two pines there is a line of metal that prevents the rise, and because of that the two pines returned in their hole. So unscrew the metal file first and watch over the 200mm fan when you remove the top

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Case looks cool with blue LEDs on the fans and clear panel window. Plenty of space and brackets for additional drives. The 4 stock fans are adjustable and kept my overclocked system cool with just air. Liked having two front-mounted USB 3.0 ports.

Cons: The only issues I had were with the top-mounted 200mm fan. At the low setting it didn't have enough torque to start spinning unless I flicked it with my finger. This wasn't a problem at the medium and high settings, but at high speeds it started vibrating in its mount. When I lightly pushed it against the fan against the frame using a stylus it immediately quieted down without losing speed. I'm looking for a way to tighten it up so this won't happen.

Other Thoughts: The high air flow through the case is great for cooling but increased the rate of dust build up on the cpu heatsink as well as other components. A minor trade-off to make with this case I suppose.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome case

Pros: The case looks awesome and the airflow is amazing keeping everything nice and cool. not much noise either, stays nice and quiet. The switches on the fans to control the speed is a nice feature, but its always on low for me cause everything is cool anyways. very easy to set up and install everything and nothing is really in the way.

Cons: Nothing really, only that it get super dusty on the front where it blows in, and same with the inside. another is that the lights cant be shut off, sometimes if im watching a movie with it hooked up to the tv, the lights get sort of annoying. but still not a huge deal.

Other Thoughts: Buy it for sure, its way worth it. Its great with both looks and performance.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Case - Third time buyer

Pros: This is my third purchase of this case, fourth if you include an Antec 902 case. The upgrade to USB 3.0 is nice, and the amount of space behind the mobo tray is excellent. Cable management was a breeze and the little extras that came with the case were a nice touch. Solid construction and plenty of airflow - ambient case temps average room temperature + 1 or 2 degrees tops!

Cons: Surprisingly, this case did not come with fan filters like all of my previous ones have. This was somewhat disappointing as, yes, you have to clean the filters every other week or so depending on environment, it beats having to clean out the PC itself every other week. Not enough to warrant removing an egg.

Other Thoughts: Antec - I would recommend adding a Molex or Sata fan power splitter - many motherboards do not come with enough headers for all the fans. Again, nothing worth knocking an egg for!

4 out of 5 eggsAntec Nine Hundred Case

Pros: Cool, stylish, very roomy.

Cons: Apparently no way to disable the fan LEDs unless you snip the wires. :/

Other Thoughts: If you want to use all the fans in this case, make sure your mainboard / power supply have enough fan headers, or have a couple Y-adapters handy.

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful

Pros: gorgeous case with 4 fans of varying sizes, great for small/mid size builds, fans are nearly silent, adjustable speeds for 3/4 fans, front access usb ports, brilliant blue led lights for front/rear fans

Cons: maybe cable management but you can always make your own cutouts, problem wouldn't be a big deal with modula PSU

Other Thoughts: make sure your motherboard supports 4 indivual fan connectors (mine only had 3, will have to buy adapter)

5 out of 5 eggsGood Choice

Pros: This is my 2nd 900 case from Newegg. I'm happy to report the case I received was updated with: USB 3.0 headers in the front panel (with both a USB 3.0 & 2.0 connectors on the cable end to accommodate either header on your motherboard); a CPU chassis cutout to allow for ease of install of CPU cooler back-plates; a bottom-of-case mounting area & screws/rubber mounts for an SSD drive (in case you don't want to adapt a larger bay or don't have an adapter bracket)

Cons: While the case comes with plenty of screws, I would recommend Antec toss in eight 4-40 x1 inch screws to allow a 3.5 inch to 5.25 inch adapter bracket to be mounted in the 5.25 inch bays. I had to get these at Lowes to mount my multi card reader adapter due to the thickness of the Antec bay walls.

Other Thoughts: I mounted a new generation 2 Corsair H60 cooler in the 900 case and it fits like a glove, and the new CPU cutout makes it painless.
