Sonata #3 for me
- Pros: Well laid out, easy to assemble, good power supply, quiet.
Plenty of space for HDDs, DVD/CD and 3 1/2" FF accessories such as card readers and FIREWIRE PORTS!! (floppy? what's that?) Excellent 120 mm fan included.
- Cons: No front panel IEEE-1394/Firewire port - bad choice for all those iPod owners and others with Firewire equipped devices. It's being eclipsed by USB, but is still around - bad design choice. Yeah, an E-SATA is nice, but I'd rather have in the back, or better yet, both...
Crummy paint job - scratches, blemishes, you name it out of the box. No front 'push' fan for cooling drives and internal case airflow is left to chance. Fan is 2-wire with three speed switch. Three wire fan or option would be useful - many mobos have speed/thermally controlled fan headers that would work great. I had to buy a new Minbea fan to make up for this.
- Other Thoughts: This is my third Sonata - one of each. I'm glad they lost the bright blue lights and silly rolling cover for the connectors. The internal ducting of the SII didn't fit many rigs. either. Power spply is best of bunch - more cables, higher efficiency.
A good line, but now overpriced, especially given poor paint job.`
Antec does it again
- Pros: Nice power supply, plenty of room, quiet, it looks awful pretty.
- Cons: Stupid feet! They fall off very easily
- Other Thoughts: Overall I love this case. I've been using Atec cases for a while and this one is nice. The adhesive on the feet is corny but I can get past that. Still a well made case

Nice Case
- Pros: Cheap, solid, aesthetically pleasing and comes with a decent power supply. I really dig the removable intake filter. This sort of screen really helps in minimizing dust that gets inside the case.
- Cons: My only real gripe with this case is that has to do the mount for an intake fan on the back of the hard drive rack. The screw holes are spaced for a 120mm fan. The problem is that the screw holes are much too small for the screws that are typically required for a 120mm fan. The fan I purchased was an antec three speed 120mm fan. The same brand as the case. But the holes, though spaced compatibly, were much too small. I had to bore the holes out. It was a pain. This is the only reason I didn't give this case 5 eggs.
- Other Thoughts: This case was the crux that allowed me to build a current generation budget PC for around $300.
Awesome Case
- Pros: Case is well laid out. P/S is plenty strong and quiet.
- Cons: Glossy finish!
great case
- Pros: soft silicon things inside the hardrive bay take away the vibration and noise, hard drive bays face out instead of towards the back of the case, requires a key to open the optical drove bay door and the side panel, very nice for lan partys, comes with a great psu.
- Cons: they put the box full of screws and the keys in the stupidest place, took me like 5 whole minutes to get it out. and the paint job attracts dust and fingerprints like crazy. im just nitpicking though, not a huge deal if you keep on a table and wipe it once your done tinkering.
- Other Thoughts: solid case, saved me some money cuz i got it with a combo that included an amd cpu and the xfx radeon hd 4770 , also i didnt have to buy seperate psu, all in all very nice case buy buy buy
