1 out of 5 eggsBent Up...

Pros: the second one was barely OK.

Cons: Got my first case and the box was in great condition but the case inside was so bent that there was 1/4 inch gaps. The case also after looking at it was 1/2 inch out of square. The plastic front panel was warped from being forced onto the front. I RMAed that case and got a new one the second one was also bent where the manufacture had forced the side panel on. Witch broke off one of the screws trying to get it to screw together. I don't know if they just have the HULK building these but I'm no longer buying form this manufacture.

Other Thoughts: For the price $199 it shouldn't be bent at all unless its from shipping but both of these where not from shipping.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect!

Pros: Perfect size, Huge to fit huge fans and lots of hard drives! The lay out of the case is perfect. The pedestal feet are also a well balanced effort for this case. This was the perfect case for what I needed. I like that you can lock it all up to keep people out of it.

Cons: The power supply would have been better at the bottom, but this is the only downfall I see of this case. Everything else was perfect.

Other Thoughts: Antec always makes good quality products.

1 out of 5 eggsdisappointed

Pros: It's sturdy, comes with a semi-modular power supply.

Cons: There's NO MATX motherboard support, no holes in the backplane whatsoever in those locations. This is the first time i have EVER seen a case that was ATX but not MATX, even with the cheap $20 cases. Really Antec, how hard would it have been to put those 3 or 4 extra holes in the backplane?

Right panel took a screwdriver and a lot of effort to pry off. Nothing is bent that I can see, not sure what the problem is there.

Front door doesn't close all the way. A bit of shaving on the plastic nub and it fits better, but right under the lock it sticks out about 1/8" of an inch

Other Thoughts: The door is on some sort of bizarre spring-loaded double hinge. I'm curious as to why that front door would ever need to be locked anyway considering all the hard drives are just a couple of thumbscrews away on the inside.

This is my first and last Antec server chassis. I'll go back to the (Super) duper brand I was using previously.

1 out of 5 eggsstay away

Pros: Nice case, good build quality

Cons: Customer support. The case came with 4 sets of hard drive rails. This was fine at the time of purchase several years ago but now I need all 6. Their site has been out of stock for months on the spare parts, and no reply from customer service. Antec has been getting bad about this kind of thing lately, and outsourcing to lesser quality manufacturers. I will buy from people who aren't crooks in the future who can actually support spare parts, which I think is not outside of normal expectations for a server class product.

Manufacturer Response:

I'm sorry you didn't receive a response from us whether your email was filtered or set aside for some reason. Please send another one to and we'll have a rep get in contact with you. Thank you.

4 out of 5 eggsBeefy Case

Pros: Beefy Case
Plenty of screws
Easy connectors for Harddrives, 4 screws hold 2 rails per drive that slide into the cage
Plenty of connectors for the included 650watt power supply

Cons: Minor quality control issue: The case looked like it was dropped as the front IEEE 1394a connection (Firewire) was bent. I was able to remove the small circuit board and bend it back with some pliers and re-install. I don't know if it actually works, I don't have a current use for it.

Being a large case the 92mm fans (purchased separately) must be disconnected from the motherboard to open the drive cage. Perhaps the fan wires are just bit too short.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: Built like a tank, roomy, drive rail system works well. Includes a great modular power supply.

Cons: The audio jacks on the front of the case are completely unnecessary if you're actually using this as a server case.

5 out of 5 eggsMonster case, good service

Pros: I don’t write reviews often, but Antec earned this.
The case came in perfect condition (which is what I have come to expect from Antec and Newegg). It is a LARGE, HEAVY pedestal case, which is exactly what I wanted. There is plenty of room to work, and I was easily able to mount an ASUS KGPE-D16 board (12.0" x 13.0"). The power supply is a solid modular unit and the drive rails worked perfectly.
Here is what impressed me. The unit did have a defective power LED. I call Antec and after waiting a few minutes on hold talked to pleasant young man who was very eager to help. He answered a couple of questions for me and then said he was dropping the needed part into an envelope which he was going to mail me. The part showed up in my mail box two working days later. He sent me the power LED AND another complete set of LEDs for the chassis “just in case…”.
This is great service. He didn’t just write up a case for some “fulfillment” person to solve, he personally shipped the part.

Cons: Defective LED which Antec took care of immediately.

3 out of 5 eggsServer case

Pros: Good case, included power supply, holds EATX boards. Price OK. Quality good.

Cons: It's a server case. Should have intrusion switch, would be nice to make drives hot swappable. Antec can NOT give you the instruction manual in advance and there are none to be had on the internet. Needs additional fans (92 mm). I posted one but still don't see it.There are MINIMAL instructions that are almost worthless. The screws included don't tell you what part of the case they go to. Points off for lack of decent instructions. Server cases don't need the sound system plugs. I consider this basically a good tower computer case that holds EATX.

Other Thoughts: If you want to see a server case look at SuperMicro stuff. They build nice cases

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good looking, CD access door is nice, opens 270 degrees
good thumbscrews for access panel
power supply is antec truepower 650, modular

Cons: Motherboard standoff screws snap easily, use caution
Drive rail "system" is junk for the hard drives, if using 2.5" to 3.5" drive adapters for your ssd, then 1 screw on each side may be attached.
screws included for rails do not work well with the rubber grommets included
door for fans that go in the front of them is flimsy
paint job is cheap

Other Thoughts: Side fan size is 80mm, front fan size is 92mm, definitely add the
no real need for headphone/mic/firewire jacks in front for server case
Should have 8 expansion slots
12cm fan in back

5 out of 5 eggsnice case

Pros: everything you need! nice power source. lots of room.
used it with a Supermicro MBD-X7DAL-E-O & 2 XEon L5410 Harpertown and works beautifully... Used for professional video editing

Cons: I guess it was because of the Xeons and the above the average room temperature but passive cooling did not work and I had to buy two coolers. Now everything works perfectly.
