5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Case

Pros: -Pretty Good Airflow
-Keeps all my components very cool
-Far quieter than any case I have ever had
-Absolutely Gorgeous
-A pleasure to work in
-Power supply is excellent, and actually comes with more connectors than listed.
-Will fit some pretty big graphics cards. Probably not a GTX275 or up, but it will fit a 4870, or a GTS250 though it might be a little cramped, but my 4850 fits in quite nicely.

Cons: -While it is a pleasure to work in, it is just a little cramped

Other Thoughts: -The psu that came with my case had TWO 6pin pci-e connectors, and ONE 8pin pci-e connectors, which is more than was listed last time I checked, so that was a nice surprise.
-If you want a truly silent pc, don't buy a quad core, use the stock fan. and a 4870 and expect it to be silent.
-While this PC isn't completely silent, the loudest things in it are all the stuff I added, and even still, this case does its job pretty well

1 out of 5 eggsHighly overrated product

Pros: Comes with a decent PSU. 120mm rear fan (as opposed to 80mm) is a plus.

Cons: Where should I start? The reset button on the front panel would get stuck inside whenever you press it! Every time I used it I'd have to unscrew and take off the side panel to open up the front panel and pop the reset button back into place. It eventually become such a nuisance that I ripped out the button entirely. I now stick a pen inside the gaping hole whenever I need to reset my computer.

This case is heavy. Antec claims this helps to reduce noise, but I beg to differ. The sound dampening panels that come installed don't do much of anything. You're better off buying your own material.

The front air filter is not easy to access. That makes cleaning it a lot more of a hassle.

The tray for the 3.5" bay that this case comes with is an absolute joke. Try installing a multimedia card reader with it. You'll understand what I mean. Who designed this awful thing?

Other Thoughts: The hard drive suspension is interesting, but in practice it's a bit of a nuisance.

In the dry winter months, touching the front panel would give me painful static-electric shock. Sometimes the shock would turn the computer on without me even pressing the button!

Overall, this case isn't totally awful. I've seen worse cases. I just think that the Antec Sonata II is overpriced and overrated. This was my second Antec case and it will be my last. There are better brands of computer cases out there for the money. Don't waste your $$$ on this one.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid combo for the price

Pros: Solid construction, good airflow, sleek design, and fairly quiet when you turn the 120mm rear case fan to medium or lower.

Cons: Too shallow - A large video card will barley fit, and make at least one of the hard drive bays useless.

Other Thoughts: Not a good case for someone who wants to run a lot of components or who is looking to overclock.

The HDD suspension system is innovative, but needs some more work. I just wouldn't feel comfortable using it.

I would recommend picking up a couple of 92mm case fans for the front.

Price Paid: $139.00 + free shipping.

4 out of 5 eggsPower LED Not Working

Pros: Nice case, have similar black Antec for 5 years and wanted to try this ith new rebuild. Love the front facing HD bays and the all white fron panel. Thought i needed to get a white plate for my DVD but the front plate DVD bays pop open when the DVD player is opened. Their button actually presses the DVD open/close button. Very cool!

Cons: The LED Power does not work. Checked the connection 5 times. really bummed because what am I supposed to do? Remove everything and RMA it? I don't think so....

2 out of 5 eggsGrafic Card Selection

Pros: Looks Good

Cons: Most of the good graphic cards available (recommneded with processor or mother board) will not not fit in this case. As my graphic card is half an inch longer than what the case support. Then I thought of making some more room inside the case by removing the Bay which holds hardrive and temporarily moving the hard drive to another bay on the top of of the case. BUT I am unable to remove the screws in the case, since not able to find out from ANY WHERE which tool to use for removing the wired screws. Now I am not sure what to do with this case. ( nor with expensive Graphic card).

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Case

Pros: Excellent soundproofing, the perfect case for someone who cares about noise. The harddrive suspension in particular is great.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have used this for more than 2 years with two HD, an E6600 on a 875 board, a fanless Scythe Ninja, a fanless GS7600 card and just one 92mm front fan and the 120mm exhaust fan. This system is so silent that the best way of checking whether it is running is to look whether the rear fan is spinning!

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet

Pros: Has lots of nice noise dampening features, solidly built.

Cons: Very heavy, drive cage is not removable. If you plan to buy a large-size video card - get your dremel/wire cutters ready.

Other Thoughts: Have no problems with white faceplates for optical drives. Use both of them with two DVDRW drives, they open and close without a hitch.

5 out of 5 eggsNie case

Pros: Good layout. The hooks to keep extra cables out of the way are a nice touch. It is quiet, as advertised. The choice of two ways to mount HDs (quiet and quieter) are nice.

Cons: The false panels for optical drives are more of an annoyance than a help. Fortunately, they are easy to remove and you can install the drive flush with the front panel.

Other Thoughts: If you are a looking for a case to minimize noise from fans and hard drives, this is a good choice.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Case is quiet with sound dampening material on inside. Very easy to get around inside case. The clips make it easy to put in and take out drives. Great finish. Power supply has more cables than you'll every need.

Cons: Not cheap, but for a machine I'll spend hours with, I didn't mind paying a few extra bucks.
