5 out of 5 eggsNot bad at all

Pros: Low cost case that works as expected

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: My original case completely burned out the USB3 ports and headphone ports in the front so this was a replacement for a different case. Everything went into the new case without any problems and there was plenty of room for the motherboard and large video card. Cable management was acceptable given the cost of the case. I put a couple of blue LED fans in the front and it looks very nice.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Case

Pros: Simple case plenty of room. Not a tool-less case but doesn't really matter to me. I just finished putting three computers together using three of these cases. I like the PSU at the bottom of the tower.

Cons: I only had one issue with one of the cases the reset and power switch are reversed on the front panel. So I had to change it so that the wire labeled reset is on the power switch connector on the mother board and the wire labeled power switch is on the reset pins on the mother board.

I still gave the cases 5 stars because they performed as expected and I feel like I got my money worth on them.

4 out of 5 eggsGood starter case

Pros: The Case has 2 Power fans that uses the PSU instead of the Mobo leaving room for extra fans. The 2 fans have a speed control for them as well.

Good size case for a beginner.

Cheap price, so if something happens you can get another or when building a new comp extra cash to spent elsewhere like CPU or GPU.

Cons: Having the case for over 3 years now, The Front panel locks are plastic and can break easily, if you clean regularly be careful of not ripping the front off or slamming it back into place. Another is that the Switches/ports on front are somewhat weak, I had to do some fixes on it.

Cable management is poor, The fans that come with it that uses the PSU you can somewhat manage the cables but thats it.

Other Thoughts: Overall 4/5
Once again Great Case for Beginners.

2 out of 5 eggswhat you see is what you get

Pros: I like the case it's really good. no flaws on that side

Cons: it didn't come with anything els. i usually get the screws with the cases back when i bought one. this one is just empty. Also, there's only 4 motherboard stand in this which means i couldn't install my motherboard confortably withouth the possibility that it bends in the middle or on the side.In all, i'd say there's 2 motherboard stands missing and i had to buy the screws to get in installed.

2 out of 5 eggsnot a fan

Pros: Everything fits with a little finagling

Cons: Sad to say cheap parts were used. The upper fan started to fail within a week or two with a loud clicking finally failing altogether. The back fan then proceeded to fail and in the last two weeks failed altogether. Those were the only cooling/moving parts on the entire case and both failed.

Other Thoughts: I guess my expectations were too high. That this case was good for more than a year and that it is made with quality in mind. Final thoughts I will not be buying another case from ANTEC.
With sadness your customer.

3 out of 5 eggsAntec 300

Pros: Sturdy
Good Warranty
Front fan cages allow fan to be removed without hassle
Washable dust filter for front fans

Cons: No Front fans
Only 2 fans
Only one dust filter for front
No bottom ventilation
No cable management
Annoying sound from top fan mount

I have never been able to use the front speaker jacks. Some how during manufacturing the plastic piece that holds the jacks was made too short. So when I try to plug a pair of headphones in (I have tried other sets too...hoping it was the headphones), the male connection does not fully seat with the female connection. It does work if you continually push in, but as soon as you take your hand off, it will disconnect.

Other Thoughts: The top fan mount vibrates causing an annoying sound. I can loosen and tighten from time to time and sound will stop, but it will come back...doing this has caused the head of my fan screws to become stripped.

This case is neither loud (unless fan mount is being annoying) or quite. I would say it is somewhere in the middle.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Entry Case

Pros: Plenty of airflow, fan mounting locations, and sturdy construction. Cozy amount of space for a moderate amount of internal components.

Cons: Thumbscrews, thumbscrews, thumbscrews! Also, no forward mounted fans right off the bat, and cleaning the front grille can be a pain.

Other Thoughts: Used this in a build for a friend who needed a new computer. While he was exceptionally pleased, I am too used to a different case style to not point out the issues.

5 out of 5 eggsthe all-time classic

Pros: Hard to beat this case for overall convenience, durability and cooling ability. This is my fifth one. Just add an Antec 950 water Kuhler and one or two extra 120 mm fans and you can even handle a beastly hot FX8350 no problemo!

Cons: None. Add a front USB 3.0 card reader that has a USB breakout or two and quit complaining!

Other Thoughts: I love the speed switches/and the overall fan quality, and the way the HDD bay layout is. Works just right for me! SSDs can mount right on the bottom plate (I believe the location has been improved from earlier manufacture...?)

5 out of 5 eggsFunctionality without the flash

Pros: Simple, clean design without any ostentatious LEDs. Easy to disassemble and clean. Bottom-mounted power supply bracket made installation a breeze when I first got it. Plenty of hardware included for mounting motherboard. Included fans have reasonable volume and easily-adjustable speeds. Space for three more fans makes adding additional cooling simple. Plenty of room for extra cable storage.

Cons: Power button feels a little cheap in comparison to the rest of the case. Case needs to be opened in order to change fan speeds. Black exterior tends to make oils from fingers and dust show up pretty easily, needs to be wiped down pretty often if it gets moved around a lot.

Other Thoughts: I've been using this case for three years and I'm a big fan. I love the simple design and the fact that it's perfectly functional without being too flashy, while still maintaining a sleek elegance that comes from its classy all-black design. My roommate in college used the same case and had a similar view. I would definitely make this my first choice if I was in the market for a new case.
