Antec combines size, quality, features and low price to deliver the ultimate gaming case. The smallest of Antec’s “Hundred” series designed for the Do-It-Yourself gamer, it is equipped to deal with the increased heat output of high-performance systems as well as providing a flexible design to best suit your needs. Its overall matt-black finish shows that you – and your system – mean business.

The front panel includes a pair of USB 2.0 inputs as well as jacks for a headphone and microphone. The front bezel is perforated for maximum air intake and it has a washable filter to reduce dust within the system. Inside, are a total of nine drive bays – six 3.5” internal HDD’s and a trio of 5.25” external drives. Seven expansion card slots let you load up on graphic and other options up to – and including – a full height ATX motherboard. A rear-mounted 120mm TriCool fan as well as a top-mounted 140mm TriCool fan – both with 3-speed switch control – draw air through the case.

In addition, there's space for an additional pair of 120mm fans behind the front bezel to cool the HDD’s as well as the option to mount a third 120mm fan on the side of the case to cool the GPU. If you’d rather put your money into what goes inside the case rather than the case itself, the Antec Three Hundred is for you.

  • newegg Room for expansion The Antec Three hundred features 9 drive bays and 7 expansion slots which give you room to expand your system to it’s limits.
  • newegg Increased Cooling The Three Hundred comes equip with 1 rear and 1 top fan, as well as 2 optional front fan slots and 1 optional side fan slot. Fitting case fans in all slots will increase airflow to your valuable parts.

5 out of 5 eggsNice cheap case

Pros: Support for 6 hard drives, plus 3 ODDs and SSD/2.5" (no ext. 3.5" bays, but unless you want a card reader I see no need). To the right side of the case, by HDDs, there's some space and zip ties for wires. The front USB cables and audio cables were easy to connect, and were in one block (easier for 99% of motherboards out there). Cutout behind motherboard CPU area, for easy CPU cooler installs. I like the nice plain matte black design. The PSU is bottom mounted. My stuff stays nice and cool in here (CPU idling at 25C, GPU at 28C, better than old case). At low, the included 120mm and 140mm fans blow enough air. The hard drive installation isn't toolless, which ensures that things won't fall out pf place (however, enough thumbscrews for 6 drives are included). The entire front of the case is ventilation, and even without a front fan I can feel quite a bit of air being pulled through it. The power buttons and USB ports are at the top of the case, and my case is under the desk.

Cons: Getting my PSU to fit in place was a bit of a pain. This only has 2 USB ports and they're 2.0. You have to push a bit firmly on the audio jacks for them to work. (I haven't had any issues with noise on them however.) There are no rubber grommets on the hard drive bays, which could cause a little issue with vibration. I have 2 HDs and it's fine though.

Other Thoughts: Running a gigabyte ga-p55a-ud3, intel i5 750, 8GB 1600MHz corsair ram, 640GB WD Black and 500GB Samsung, Coolermaster TX3 CPU cooler, seasonic S12ii 520W PSU, and evga geforce 550ti in here. If you want a well built case with good airflow and don't want a flashy design, and don't care about a side window, this case is for you.

4 out of 5 eggsI've had this case for a few years

Pros: This case is spacious, i have too much room for my fans . Enough space to put the cables on the side for a clean look.

Cons: little noisy. Just a little.

Other Thoughts: Docked an egg just because the noise. I mean after a while you won't notice it but compared to my other computers its the loudest one.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value!

Pros: 1. Perfect size case for transport
2. Plenty of interior space
3. Excellent quality construction
4. Best price for a budget build

Cons: 1. There are 2 stock fans to pull hot air out, but no fans to pull cold air in. Simple fix: buy 1-2 cheap fans.
2. The inside is not painted, but what do you expect for $45?
3. The assembly took a little longer than my $150 full-tower case, but for my 2nd build I was happy with the price of this case.

Other Thoughts: If you are anything like me and hesitate with every puchase. Quit over-thinking it and just buy it! Best bang for your buck out there!

5 out of 5 eggsBest Budget Case

Pros: - Budget gamers should consider this.
- Good quality/build for the price.
- Simply black, nonchalant design.

Cons: - No predefined cable management.
- Slight vibration noises. (Depends on your setup)

Other Thoughts: Antec should make a similar, simple, and SLIM black case for small HTPC builders at the $50-60 range. There seems to be very few good ones currently out on the market. They all seem too boxy/cube.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: In my opinion, the best case in this price range. Great airflow and an understated design that doesn't look like it's trying to be a Transformer.

Cons: as at least one other review has mentioned, the front audio jacks were DOA. They don't have that reassuring "click" when plugging things in. I use a breakout audio box so it doesn't affect me too much but that would be HUGE annoyance otherwise.

1 out of 5 eggsNo Rebate

Pros: Great design. Affordable.

Cons: Did not receive mail-in rebate.

Front fans not included.

Other Thoughts: Don't assume that you'll receive the rebate. This is not the first time this has happened.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I got this case for a build that I wanted to look modern, but still not too flashy to keep the look of my other tech. I got exactly what I was looking for, and installed some extra fans. It was the perfect size and perfectly compact.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I wanted to put a 6990 into this thing.. 12 inches. That was just too big. After about an hour with a drill and other power tools, I had a perfect cutout for where I could put it. I've done a lot of internal space-saving mods to this case.

5 out of 5 eggsRoomy, cool case

Pros: Very big interior, roomy for all your parts. Excellent airflow throughout case due to mesh openings and places to put fans everywhere. Love the fact that the power supply is on the bottom.

Cons: None!
