Antec combines size, quality, features and low price to deliver the ultimate gaming case. The smallest of Antec’s “Hundred” series designed for the Do-It-Yourself gamer, it is equipped to deal with the increased heat output of high-performance systems as well as providing a flexible design to best suit your needs. Its overall matt-black finish shows that you – and your system – mean business.
The front panel includes a pair of USB 2.0 inputs as well as jacks for a headphone and microphone. The front bezel is perforated for maximum air intake and it has a washable filter to reduce dust within the system. Inside, are a total of nine drive bays – six 3.5” internal HDD’s and a trio of 5.25” external drives. Seven expansion card slots let you load up on graphic and other options up to – and including – a full height ATX motherboard. A rear-mounted 120mm TriCool fan as well as a top-mounted 140mm TriCool fan – both with 3-speed switch control – draw air through the case.
In addition, there's space for an additional pair of 120mm fans behind the front bezel to cool the HDD’s as well as the option to mount a third 120mm fan on the side of the case to cool the GPU. If you’d rather put your money into what goes inside the case rather than the case itself, the Antec Three Hundred is for you.

Awesome case, but check sizes!
- Pros: 6 internal HDD bays, 4 places for 120mm fans, plus bigger top fan. Bottom PSU.
- Cons: Length is a little shallow, but then again, the RAID card I purchased is huge - 12.3" long. I had to cut into the HDD area for it to fit. The other thing is that 38mm deep fans will not fit in the front fan spots, you need 25mm deep fans.
Spend a little more for a great case
- Pros: - Affordable for a basic system build
- Includes two good quality Antec fans with 3-way speed control - Fits microATX and ATX MBs. - No bright indicator lights or fancy LEDs - Washable air filter
- Cons: - The power button feels a little cheap.
- Reset button is impossible to use but who uses this anyway? - Quiet, but not as much as I prefer – much quieter than I expected - Cheap paint - No rubber grommets for
- Other Thoughts: This case is a good value if you can find it for $50 shipped. I purchased this for an office desktop PC. It ran fairly quiet but the front grill and 140mm fan on top made it a bit too noisy for me. I was replacing a 5 year old Dell and the Dell was far quieter. The biggest problem for me was the lack of rubber grommets for the hard drive enclosure which seemed to add a lot of vibration and noise to the case. I ended up returning this case and purchasing the Antec Sonata III which I’m extremely happy with. This case is to be very basic, but what else do you expect for $50?
If you like Antec, buy the Sonata III - it includes the power supply, looks much nicer, is a better quality case, and is nearly silent.

Antec 300
- Pros: The price, light weight, lots of cooling,
- Cons: head phone and mic jack looks cheap, sometime head phone pots out, have to press in hard
- Other Thoughts: did Some mods to it.
Solid case
- Pros: Great case for the price, solid construction, good fans, quiet. I just bought a second one for the next build, on sale and free shipping.
- Cons: No 3.5 external drive bay
Not tool less
- Other Thoughts: The power button sticks sometimes.
Good Case Overall
- Pros: Good solid mid-ATX case, lots of airflow, decent room. I personally prefer the rough, unfinished look to a lot of other cases, but looks are a matter of preference and not quality.
- Cons: Only two fans included, but I already had 2 120mm fans, and purchased a third, so I've got 5 fans running in it, and the airflow is fantastic. Also, if you want to mount a 3.5" drive, you need a 5.25" adaptor for it, and the case should have included one.
- Other Thoughts: Overall, I'd say it's a great case for those who want an inexpensive case with good airflow and aren't too concerned about fancy looks. The only other case I'd consider for the price is the NZXT BETA EVO, which is also on sale too.
