Antec’s Nine Hundred case was acclaimed for its combination of style and cooling design. The Twelve Hundred is an evolutionary improvement that capitalizes on the original design and adds even more for a design that can take whatever you throw into it. Even the largest 10.5” graphic cards like AMD’s Radeon HD 3870 x2 and Nvidia’s 9800 GX2 fit into any of the 7 expansion slots within its cavernous interior without limiting hard drive placement within any of the 12 bays. Mini ITX, Micro ATX or standard ATX motherboards likewise fit with ease.
A pair of three-speed 120mm blue LED fans exhaust heat out the rear of the case while a 200mm fan does so through the top. The speed of the fans, can be controlled from the outside of the case. Space and mounting points are provided for two more 120mm fans – one in the middle to cool the CPU or graphic card, and another bringing air in through the side panel to cool the expansion cards. Knockouts for liquid cooling systems are built in as is a platform for a reservoir or pump.
Because excess heat will kill any system, the case is designed to maximize cooling. The perforated front bezel offers maximum air intake by the trio of 120mm blue LED fans that pull air through the washable air filter. The front panel is finished off with top-mounted I/O ports for easily connecting an eSATA and a pair of USB 2.0 devices along with HD audio inputs and outputs.

Pros: This bad boy does what it is suppose to with some nice cable management features to boot. With 7 120mm fans ( 2 optional) and 1 200mm big boy installed, My whole set up runs about 2-4Cs colder over my 900. The back panel fan control for the exhaust fans are also very nice.
Cons: Doesn't cook.
Other Thoughts: I had very little trouble if any getting this case together. This thing cools anything immediately around it. I'm getting chills just sitting next to it.

Pros: I switched to this from a Raidmax Smilodon mid tower, and dropped 12 C on my graphics card (heat-plagued Asus EAH3870 TOP, down to 117 C from 127 C). While my Tuniq heatsink still prohibits side fans as it did in my Raidmax, the internal 120mm VGA fan makes all the difference. I also dropped 5 C on my Phenom 9850 @ 2.875 GHz. There is plenty room between adjacent HDD slots for decent airflow, with a fan in front of each cage making great use of this tunnel. This case has excellent cable management: you can route all the wires between the mobo tray and right side panel and send them back through strategically-placed slots right where you need them, leaving the slack in the side panel abyss. No more will your PC be a nest of wires where it matters. Like everyone says, the fans are quiet, although high is just a tad loud for me... I'm keeping mine at medium for now. It has rubber power supply feet to absorb vibration. There are no sharp edges and no crevices where dropped screws can hide.
Cons: Do not purchase this case if you're afraid of screwdrivers or thumbscrews... nothing is snap-in in it. Each side panel has two thumbscrews, each drive cage has eight thumbscrews, and each drive has four normal screws. If you need to pull your drives out on a regular basis, this is not the case for you. The drives cannot be removed without pulling out the cages they are mounted in. Also, be aware that if you use all 3 front 120mm fans and cages and plan to clean the filters regularly, there's 28 thumbscrews to deal with. The fan filters are more rather screens than filters... all in the name of airflow, I suppose. The pictures in the manual are too dark to see much of anything, not that anyone needs instructions. The external 3.5" adapter and faceplate took a little trial and error to figure out, but they work. Be mindful of your screwdriver... the inside is black and likes to scratch. The front audio jacks are unmarked, you'll have to remember which is which. Nothing serious.
Other Thoughts: It can be found for cheaper, but it is well worth whatever price you pay. It took me around 2.5 hours to move everything into this case, after all my cable management trial and error. Only my 4-pin power connector was too short to go behind the tray. Once this case is loaded up, the rubber feet will make it difficult to slide on carpet. This case is just wide enough to prevent me from pushing my chair under my desk... make sure you have room wherever you plan on keeping your machine. Keep in mind if you plan on using many hard drives, the internal VGA fan cannot be mounted on a cage that has drives in it.

Pros: Plenty of room, tons of air flow, all fan speeds are manually adjustable with knobs on the front and switches on the back, looks really cool, the quality is good, makes cable management easy with a little work.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: If you are using a Noctua NH-U12P heatsink (highly recommended) and mount it such that the top of the heatsink spans the case vertically, you will not be able to fit a fan in the OPTIONAL side case fan holder since the heatsink sticks out too much. This is not a big deal at all, but I just thought you should know. Also, I would suggest picking up at least 1 optional fan for this case in any event, as you can position it to blow on your video card which lowered my vid card temps by 3 degrees C and also my CPU temps by < 1 degree.

Pros: Sturdy, plenty of room inside, plenty of fans for cooling, and it doesn't scratch very easily.
Cons: the VGA fan mount is kinda touchy. it doesn't wanna sit in there very good. i eventually got it to sit in there good enough. no big deal, but it was my only issue with the case
Other Thoughts: This case doesn't just circulate air through my case... it circulates air through my room!
