Antec’s Nine Hundred case was acclaimed for its combination of style and cooling design. The Twelve Hundred is an evolutionary improvement that capitalizes on the original design and adds even more for a design that can take whatever you throw into it. Even the largest 10.5” graphic cards like AMD’s Radeon HD 3870 x2 and Nvidia’s 9800 GX2 fit into any of the 7 expansion slots within its cavernous interior without limiting hard drive placement within any of the 12 bays. Mini ITX, Micro ATX or standard ATX motherboards likewise fit with ease.

A pair of three-speed 120mm blue LED fans exhaust heat out the rear of the case while a 200mm fan does so through the top. The speed of the fans, can be controlled from the outside of the case. Space and mounting points are provided for two more 120mm fans – one in the middle to cool the CPU or graphic card, and another bringing air in through the side panel to cool the expansion cards. Knockouts for liquid cooling systems are built in as is a platform for a reservoir or pump.

Because excess heat will kill any system, the case is designed to maximize cooling. The perforated front bezel offers maximum air intake by the trio of 120mm blue LED fans that pull air through the washable air filter. The front panel is finished off with top-mounted I/O ports for easily connecting an eSATA and a pair of USB 2.0 devices along with HD audio inputs and outputs.

  • newegg Increased Expansion With a total of 12 drive bays, you can expand your system to the limit
  • newegg Excellent Cooling The Antect Twelve Hundred comes equip with massive cooling options. A special 200mm fan on top, two rear 120mm fans , 3 front 120mm fans, 1 open slot for a side case fan, and one open slot for a middle fan give you ultimate cooling where you need it most.
  • newegg Cleanable Air Filters The cleanable air filters reduce dust build up on your expensive parts.

5 out of 5 eggsAn Amazing case!!

Pros: I love this case. Lots of room to fit your giant video cards and tons of hardrive bays. It is a must buy!!!

Cons: The front filters for the fans are a pain toclean. You have to remove all 20 screws to get them loose. I just leave 1 screw on each side so it is less of a hassle. Other then that, the case is kinda heavy so if your really strong at all, have someone help you!

5 out of 5 eggsNever need to buy another case

Pros: What a greet case, what can I say. It has been through slot since 2008. Started with e8400 liquid cooled wi a 9800 GTX and then 3 graphics cards 2 motherboards and 2 CPUs later. It has a 2500k with sli GTX 560 ti's. It has been the backbone to my buiLds for the past 3-4 years, and I upgrade alot. The only other thing I would put on the same level as this is the corsair tx 750 I bought at the sane time, still running from a single 8800gt to sly 560 ti's amazing. Best airflow I am sure of it.*. I Don't think I will get rid of it. Not until a revision with usb 4.0 or something in the distant future.

Cons: None really, other than not having s full window instead of this half window half mesh malarchy.

Other Thoughts: I have tried to bring myself to upgrade but there are just too many good things about the 1200. With 2 optional adapters and high airflow fans my 560's stay super cool.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very large case, sharp look. Runs very quiet during normal operation. Haven't had any overheating issues.

Cons: Top front of case can get a little cramped.

Other Thoughts: Fans can get a little loud when the system is being pushed, but not any more than you'd expect out of that many fans. Can't notice when headphones are on.

Pros: awesome

Cons: only wish the fan filters in front of the case were a little easier to get to so they can be cleaned

5 out of 5 eggsWell done Antec

Pros: This case is very nice, it has tons of room, lots of fans, and lots of bays for DVDs drives/Hard drives. I like the three air filters in the front, and the control for the rear/top fans as well. Knobs on the front for the fans there, overall a lot of control for air. Feels solid, lots of screws to secure things. Holes in the panel so you can put unused PSU cords through it to increase airflow and keep it tidy, very nice.

Cons: I'm not dropping an egg over this, but it can be a little annoying. The screws to unhook the drive bays are a bit excessive, 4 screws per side, for a total of 8 to remove them. Annoying if you want to take the air filters out often to clean them, however you can always just leave one of the sides screws off if you want.

Other Thoughts: Very well done, sturdy, and has shiny lights. Love this case, would buy it again if needed.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The good: The case is well designed, the screw holes line up where necessary. The edges are smooth so you wont cut yourself! This tower was able to keep my i7-950 3.06ghz intel processor cooled along with 3 graphics cards, 2 SLI'd Geforce 480 fermis and 1 geforce 9800 GTS (physx mode)

I then upgraded to water cooling on my video cards because the fans were to loud at 100% usage. I set the fan settings to run at 100% if the cards got to 65 degrees celsius. The water cooling solution worked easily for this case, because they have two holes in the back for the hoses. I was able to mount the radiator on the back of the case over the two exhaust fans. The radiator had screw holes that appeared to line up to the fan screws. I was able to remove 4 fan screws and used longer screws to mount the radiator and fans with those

I was able to keep the case clean of wires because their are holes cut out for cable management. I simply just took the left cover off and tucked the cables away.

Cons: The not so good: I like that is uses air filters, but in order to clean them, you have to open up both sides of the case to remove the drive bay screws (8 per drive bay * 3 drive bays) in order to push the drive bays out the front of the case to remove the filter (see picture provided with newegg.)

I like the fact it has so many fans, but not all fans are on switches to asjust the speeds. This is not a huge deal, but it wouldn't hurt to have added that feature. It does include fan speeds for the top fan and the two back exhaust fans.

Other Thoughts: I have used this case for over 6 months now and am able to explain the good and the bad.

5 out of 5 eggsThis case rocks!

Pros: -Oodles and oodles of space, I was able to shove in everything I had with room left to spare.

-I love the lights, some say it's too bright, but to me it isn't so bad.

-Love the fans, and their location works so in sync with everything, especially with my heatsink.

Cons: None really

Other Thoughts: I just love this case, it's going to be with me for a very very long time.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Gaming Case

Pros: This case is beautiful to work with and to behold! It has an amazing array of fans and space for you to work with inside. I currently use 2 Geforce GTX 470's inside and it still has plenty of room to spare. The fans can all be adjusted manually from outside the case which makes it an ease to turn up or down the fans.

Get this case if you are building a monster gaming system, tons of room, you will not regret!

Cons: Case is heavy!

Other Thoughts: Just an amazing overall case with great airflow and just great overall design.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Case I've ever had.

Pros: Keeps everything very cool.

Tons of space for extra drives.

Nice back panel to hide all your wires.

Filters for the front fans. (Those help me a ton because I have a dog that sheds fur everywhere, and they keep it from getting into my system.

It's big enough to fit almost any giant heat sink.

Cons: It's big and heavy. I don't mind that at all, but some people might.

Adding new drives is kind of a pain, so if it's something you do often it will probably aggravate you.

It's kind of pricey, but worth it.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you have a PSU with long cables and lots of connectors.

I won't have to buy another case in a very long time. If newegg/Antec ever stops selling this thing they are crazy.
