Ultimate gamer case? Just maybe. With a partially perforated package that still finds room for four huge yet quiet fans, you have a seriously cool gaming case, and that's no joke. You expect the Antec Nine Hundred Two to be ready for lift off, especially with the 200mm TriCool exhaust fan and perforated port atop this stylish case. It even has mounted dual 120mm fans in the front and a 120mm fan at the rear panel! Contrary to what you might expect, this case is very quiet, unless you have all the fans going at their highest settings, at which point you might hear . . . something.

The 5.25" bays will hold optical drives, burners, or even (gasp!) your aging floppy drive, and up to six 3.5" drives can be installed in cages behind the fans, and these can be arranged along the front any way you like. This case provides a plethora of possibilities, and room to explore placement of all the pieces. The PSU, in a departure, is at the bottom of the case, for better case stability and thermal environment for the CPU.

The side window of the case, in addition to letting you show things off, provides additional ventilation, either by way of the vented screen, or by the fourth fan in the box, mounted in clear plastic, for a clear and elegant mounting. This is a sturdy steel case, with enough cooling technology to keep things frosty in the hottest action. Take one home today and build yourself the "coolest" rig around!

  • newegg Superior Expandability with 9 Drive Bays The Antec Nine Hundred Two’s nine drive bays provide three possible combinations including 3 x 5.25-inch external and 6 x 3.5-inch internal drive bays, or 6 x 5.25-inch external and 3x 3.5-inch internal drive bays, or 9 x 5.25-inch external drive bays.
  • newegg Transparent Side Panel Window The Antec Nine Hundred Two’s transparent side panel window provides a direct view of the inner system. A 120mm fan can be installed on the side panel for maximum heat dissipation of the system.

5 out of 5 eggsMinor changes for the better!

Pros: I recently received this case from newegg and I've got to say I was happy to see some improvements from what was stated on the site. The motherboard sits further up the case away from the optional side intake fan on the acrylic panel allowing room to fit in the case. (Friend's 900 cpu cooler blocked this area before hand) There is now a motherboard access hole for cpu cooler installation while the mb is in the case.

As others have stated before this case has tons of room and very good cable management. The cooling for this case is also amazing, My build idles at 25C on full load it goes to 35C. (This is with an CM| RR-B10-212P-G1 RT not the stock intel one)

Cons: None to speak of quality wise, any cons would be user preferance

Other Thoughts: Very well designed case, I love the improvements from the 900.

5 out of 5 eggsAntec 902 WOW!!!

Pros: Very well built case. Little smaller than Antec 900. Top fan to to edge of Gigabyte motherboard a little closer than 900. Fan speed controls on outside. Very sturdy case. I own two of these.

Cons: Heavy. Much more so with same components in Antec 900. Finish of case is matte not smooth black like 900. Antec 900 much lighter case.

Other Thoughts: All Antec cases are superb. This is a heavy case. Heavy and VERY sturdy. Not as much room in case as in a Antec 900. Still love the case very much.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Case

Pros: I bought this case for my first build and have not been dissapointed. I love all the blue LEDs, and all the fans keep this build around 65C on a heavy load.

Cons: I bought a 3.5" card reader for this case, and when I went to put in the adapter, it wouldn't fit. I could either get the face plate in, or the adapter in. I ended up having to shimmy in the card reader while the faceplate screws where just barely in, and I'm sure I bent the adapter. Not a deal breaker, but that was frustrating. I bet there where different screws or something I was supposed to use.

Other Thoughts: Case: Antec 902
CPU: Intel Core i7 870
RAM: OCZ Reaper 2x4GB DDR3
MoBo: ASUS P7P55-LX
HDD: Hitachi Deskstar 1TB 7200 RPM
PSU: OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W Modular
GPU: Sapphirre Radeon 5770 Juniper XT (sad to hear AMD's changing ATI's name to AMD)
ODD: Sony Optiarc w/ LightScribe

5 out of 5 eggsSpacious

Pros: I installed a Gigabyte X58A-UD3R into this with a SeaSonic X750 and was able to route all of the cables through the openings behind the motherboard side of the case, even the 2×4 CPU power cable. I'm very pleased with the space, it's not too big and ended up being just right for the parts I installed into it.

Cons: It would be nice if the front dust filters could be removed without having to remove the drive bays, maybe through the side would have worked.

5 out of 5 eggsTall, Dark, Handsome, and QUIET

Pros: 1: It's beg enough to handle more than a reasonable number of drives
2: The clear panel is a strong plexiglass, but can be removed to reveal a large screened panel that might be important to the way you want to set up your airflow.
3: There is a bracket for a 120mm fan on the side panel to control airflow even more.
3: All the fans are user-controllable, either with a 3-position switch for the top and rear fans, or a knob for the front two fans.
4: The positions for the front fans can be switched around. I moved one fan panel to the top to force air in for the CPU cooler, put the DVD drive immediately below it, then placed the other front fan immediately below that to blow directly on the the video card
5: There's good cable management between the motherboard support panel and the outside panel (removable)
6: The 2000mm fan on top is so quiet and looks so cool.

Cons: 1: It's a pricey case. There are others that come close for much less
2: The cutout for the CPU on the motherboard mounting panel is set up for AMD but not Intel CPU's. Installing an Intel backplate after the motherboard is installed is a bit difficult but not impossible.

Other Thoughts: Like other bottom-PSU designs, make triply sure that the Power Supply you choose has long enough cables to reach the 20+4 socket and 4/8 CPU socket of your motherboard - or buy extentions up front. Many PSU's cables either don't make it or require stretching power cables over your video card.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for new builds or transplant

Pros: *Fairly customizable
*Intuitive setup
*Good airflow (really dig the included fans and controls)
*Nice and roomy
*Looks good
*Very reasonably priced

What can I say, setup was easy. Cable management was a breeze as well, good design with the slots next to the mobo tray. Brought down CPU temps a few degrees, dropped 10~15 on vid card. Running an 8800gts 512mb previously around 60~63 idle (depending on indoor temp, it gets way hotter this time of year with the ac off). After installing in the 900-2 it's a stable 50C idle so I'm happy. Under load it's a completely different story of course, but really I bought this case for the filters, expandability, and cable management options. I also like the fact that's it water cooling friendly, but I'm not quite ready to head that route yet as I'm too boring to bother with any serious overclocking.

Cons: Motherboard tray not being removable was easily the biggest problem for me. Not a big deal if you don't have massive hulk hands like myself, and by no means a deal breaker.

20 thumbscrews to get to air filters??!! Seems like there ought to be a more elegant way to get to those puppies without all that ... er ... screwing.

Other Thoughts: Cons aside, and they are honestly nitpicks, this is easily the best case I've ever worked with. Like a lot of people on new egg I've built rigs for friends/family/work etc, and while I don't think this case is for everyone it was an absolute pleasure to work with. I transplanted a previous build into this case as the old case was just too cramped, too warm, too ugly. Couldn't be happier. Will definitely put my next new build in another 900-2. Price/features are simply unbeatable. Newegg delivery great as always. I honestly don't know what else to say. If you're building a new rig or your old case is just growing a bit cramped, buy the antec 900-2 and ditch your primitive degenerate case. It's good.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: -Solid construction
-eSATA
-Relatively quiet
-Good cable management

Cons: -Lack of instructions in the box. Could be difficult for a first time builder.
-Can be a tight fit for the SATA plugs if you have certain ATX boards that has the SATA plugs sticking out to the side.

Other Thoughts: -Yes, Antec is not including instructions in the box for the sake of being green. However, if you are building that one computer in the house and your phone does not have internet, where are you going to get instructions? Luckily you can play around with the case and should be able to figure things out. Overall, this is a solid case and warrants 5 eggs for its price level.
