Antec combines size, quality, features and low price to deliver a spectacular gaming case. The smallest of Antec’s “Hundred” series is designed for the Do-It-Yourself gamer. It's equipped to deal with the increased heat of high-performance systems as well as providing a flexible design. Its overall matte-black finish shows that you – and your system – mean business.

The front panel includes a pair of USB 2.0 inputs, as well as jacks for a headphone and microphone. The front bezel is perforated for maximum air intake and it has a washable filter to reduce dust within the system. Inside, are a total of nine drive bays – six 3.5” internal HDD’s and a trio of 5.25” external drives. Seven expansion card slots let you load up on graphic and other options up to – and including – a full height ATX motherboard.

A rear-mounted 120mm TriCool fan as well as a top-mounted 140mm fan – both with 3-speed switch control – draw air through the case. The case even has mounted an additional pair of 120mm fans behind the front bezel to cool the HDD’s. If you’d rather put your money into what goes inside the case rather than the case itself, the Antec Three Hundred is for you.

  • newegg Great Expandability with 9 Drive Bays Featuring three 5.25" external drive bays, and six 3.5" internal drive bays, the Antec Three Hundred provides great expandability.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case. Now comes with 3-pin fan headers.

Pros: Great airflow. Solid construction. Clean, simple design.
Antec Customer Support is responsive. Enough space.

Cons: New version comes with 3-pin headers on fans, not molex power connectors.

Other Thoughts: Previously, these came with Molex connectors to plug in the fans. I only had 2 3-pin headers on my motherboard. What to do??

Contacted Antec Customer support, and they sent me an email claiming they sent me a set of fan adapters. Still waiting for them, but if they arrive, I'll be happy.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I got this case a couple weeks ago, and it's been a dream for the price. It's very roomy for a mid-tower and has a distinct lack of exposed sharp edges. Antec's signature case design plus the included fans make it airy as heck. By comparison, my computer's ambient temperature's been 10C lower than the cheapo Rosewill R5601-BK I started out with (can't get it from Newegg any more, but it's okay for a cheap case).

This case coupled with a new PSU, video card and replacement CMOS battery will make sure this five-year-old compy lives a good couple more good years!

Cons: Only a tiny gripe, but why must everything come with blue LEDs?

Other Thoughts: Not quite a con, so I put it here -- as others have said, the hard drive bays are old-styled and may make life harder for those who exchange or rearrange internal HDDs often.

Also the included fans' speed controls dangle a bit from a short length of cable, so you may want to make sure they're tucked well away from any other uncaged fans (mostly only a problem on the outtakes).

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Case

Pros: Very good cooling and the fans are quiet.

Cons: The picture shows the fans having molex connectors which was not what mine came with. The front usb ports are very tight and hard to get usb connectors in.

Other Thoughts: Someone made the comment about it being cheap metal. I have worked with several hundred cases and for the price it is very good.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great case for the $$$- can't beat the design and durability. Comes with 4 fans, some illuminated. There's a mounting spot for one SSD. Was able to fit a cooler master hyper 212 plus heatsink and EVGA 550 ti easily + 2 HDD.

Cons: Can't think of any!

Other Thoughts: Recommend a modular PSU for cable management since this is a mid tower.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: It's a decent size case, nothing special.
It has 4 case fans, 3 of them being lit by LEDs. The LED fans aren't really a necessary addition. Has a space for 1 more fan. Moves a lot of air as is, though.
Bottom mounted power supply.
Decent amount of space for hard drives, though my video card is blocking at least 1 space because it's a very large card.
Fans have individual switch controllers.
The fans do not generate a huge amount of noise.
There is a little to be desired, but for the price, this case is wonderful.

Cons: Most are said in the pros section.
LED fans not necessary,
one HDD space blocked by my video card,
Small amount of noise when the fans are on the highest settings, but not at all excessive.

Other Thoughts: Overall, nothing at all has made me regret the purchase. I would like a full-size case, but this one is perfect for the time being.
My computer:
This case,
Motherboard: ASUS M5A97,
Video Card: XFX Double D HD-687A-ZDFC Radeon HD 6870,
Power Supply: Corsair CX600 V2
CPU: AMD FX-4100 3.6 Ghz
HDD: Seagate Spinpoint 500 GB
RAM: ADATA XPG Gaming v2.0 Series 8GB

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Everything fit perfectly.
Each case fan has speed control.
Good amount of space for hard drives.
Stays cool.
Sturdy!

Cons: Dust will be a problem so use a can of air on it often.
No tool-less hard drive slots.
Cable management leaves much to be desired.
LED fans are unnecessary. (Easy to replace)

Other Thoughts: Overall I think this is a great case for the price, which is why I'm giving it a full 5 eggs despite the nitpicks. Also I had ZERO problems setting up my new computer in this case unlike the Raidmax case I had before which had nothing but problems.

Computer:
Intel Core i7-3770
ASRock Z77 Pro4
CORSAIR 4GBx2
CORSAIR 650TXV2 PSU
EVGA GTS 450
Western Digital WD10EZRX 1TB
Western Digital 640GB

5 out of 5 eggsI love Antec Cases

Pros: Awesome case. Built for a friend, but it was almost the same as my Antec 900. Great fans, great space, great included hardware. All in all awesome and outstanding products. Probably won't ever order a non-Antec case for any one of my customers (or personal builds) again. Believe it!

Cons: No window on the side, but who really cares?
