Build your next gaming rig with the Two Hundred by Antec. This mid-tower case can accommodate Mini-ITX, Micro ATX and ATX motherboards. You’ll also be able to add as much storage as you need to install all of your games with six 3.5-inch drive bays. The included external 3.5-inch bay offers convenient hot swap capabilities for SATA drives.
The side panel can house a 120mm intake fan to drive cool air over the CPU. Add optional 120mm front panel fans to draw air over your hard drives while two TwoCool exhaust fans – one on the top panel and one on the rear – vent heat out to minimize system slowdown. Best of all, the rear and top fan speeds are adjustable to your system’s needs. As an added bonus, the Two Hundred also features a cable management compartment to increase air flow.
You’ll also enjoy the bottom-mounted power supply function to help isolate heat and noise. The CPU cutout lets your install aftermarket coolers with ease. With a great design and a sleek look, this case may be the only one you’ll ever need. Build your gaming system with the Two Hundred and dominate the competition today!

200 vs 300
- Pros: Budget friendly. Great options for airflow. A bit more "Darth Vader" in looks (than the industrial 300). Large array of front loading 3.5 HD slots. One quick release 3.5".
Added outside exhaust fan speed control.
- Cons: Does not include the large handful of thumbscrews of the 300. Has a non removable foam screen rather than the two clip on fine mesh screens of the 300 for the optional two front intake fans. Like the 300, no GPU filtering on an optional fan there. One reason and one reason only causes me to give it 4 rather than 5 stars, the foam mesh filter just isn't as handy as the clip grills of the three hundred. If I hadn't a three hundred to compare it to it would have been a 5 star.
That said it seems to save about 20% over the three hundred for other components and if I was on a shoestring I would not hesitate to get a better power supply and a two hundred over a three hundred.
- Other Thoughts: I assembled 4 three hundred cased computers in the past three months. I noticed the two hundred and by the specs it compared near equivalent. Unlike the 900 vs 902, p180 vs p182 vs 183, Antec appears to be offering not so much a downgrade as the best no frills cost conceivable chassis they could muster. Don't let the 200 vs 300 scheme dissuade you. Side by side they are near exactly the same in shape and size and reconfigurability. Antec typically ships their cases (including the budget 300) in stylish full graphic boxes. Right from the start needless frills are reduced in its plain, but just as well protected box. While at a glance without the front panel fitted you might think the sheet metal is identical, the dies used to cut and stamp the fan fittings are actually different shape, though still functionally identical. The 200 is for all intents and purposes a 300 rethought to give the absolute best price point and same functionality.
Excellent cooling potential at a great price.
- Pros: Fantastic airflow. With optional fans could be considered near as good as the 900 in terms of cooling power. The new Two-cool fans are run off a 2 speed switch (duh) at the very top edge of the case on the back, so they are very convenient to get to. There are also knock-outs for watercooling in the back, although they need some u-channel trim covering in order to not cut your tubing.
The overall build quality is typically Antec. it's no Lian-Li, but then again, what is? They put the same quality into this one as I have seen in the P182 and 300, but like those, there are some sharp edges. Most edges are rolled-over, but I did get a nick or two while doing cable management.
Cable management is excellent, or at least it is if you put in the time. I hid every wire without having to dremmel everything
You can get to the back of the socket on the mobo to assemble CPU coolers with a backplate without taking out the board. I feel it is even more convenient than a removable motherboar
- Cons: The finish does show fingerprints under close scrutiny, but not nearly as bad as I have seen with other cases.
The front bezel is rough to the touch as if it is prepped for painting. I was not too crazy over this fact, so I deducted an egg for it. if I want to paint it, I'll prep it myself, thank you.
I had to order a couple of header panel extension cables from a mod shop because the front panel HD Audio and the USB on the motherboard was at the very bottom left corner of the board, and it would not reach without stretching directly across the video card. All the front panel connectors could stand to be a bit longer.
I also would have liked it if the slot covers came with the case, as it only has the knock-outs that cannot be put back in if removed. If I had enough matching slot covers around here, I would have knocked them all out and replaced them. I didn't, so I only knocked out the ones I needed to.
Do yourself a favor and order some cheap slot covers with this case.
- Other Thoughts: Grabbed one for a customer budget build for the simple fact that I have never seen one before. I figured I would give it a fair shake and donate a little time to do a proper review.
This case begs to be modded, but the customer wasn't paying so I wasn't doing. I would love to get a chance for myself, though. I have been building systems for years, so I have just about seen it all.
It does not have a tooless design, but I prefer them not too. I have had too many of the cheap plastic pins and clips break and have to use screws anyway, leaving you with a shoddy looking job. After all, real men know how to turn a screw. :)
Not at all a con for the case, but the pictures on Newegg do not do this case justice. It looks far better in person. I almost canceled the order right after placing it because a couple of people I know didn't like it from these pics.
I am very glad I didn't cancel. The case worked out great and the customer is extremely satisfied. (Like always) ;)

Excellent Budget Choice
- Pros: Looks, cooling, easy of use, well engineered design. Has slot to hot swap any bare 3.5" sata hard drive. Front mesh has filter, lots of air intake. Exhaust grills are honeycomb and well vented. Fans have speed selector switch. Front bezel clips come off easily. Water cooling punch outs on back.
- Cons: Lightweight metal, also punch out slots, no manual. I hate not having a manual - especially when there are new features. CPU vents should always come with a cover. Many motherboards have the cpu in a different location, and many cooling solutions obstruct the vent so it is useless anyway. I like total control over air-flow - and more often block that vent.
- Other Thoughts: I don't like thin sheet metal cases. They flex and warp too easily. Even so, if on a budget, this is a great case. When I took it out of the (well styrofoamed) box, I was excited at all the features it had and how nice it looks. I did consider the case is nicely lightweight, but after I put a beast power supply in it, it weighs a ton anyway. I'd rather they increase metal thickness and add leds to the fans, and add $5 to the price. Maybe offer two versions - business and gamer. They market this as proof you can get a great gamer case without spending a lot. I would agree. I love this case.
Nice Mid Tower
- Pros: Nice layout, fairly roomy. Lots of internal 3.5 bays. External 3.5 bay which was a must for me because I installed a card reader. Power supply mounts on the bottom and the moterboard mounts up high. Can hold lots of 120mm fans.
- Cons: Front panel wires could be longer. They barely reach the MB with my video card in the way.
- Other Thoughts: I was very impressed with this case, very good low cost case. I like having the motherboard mounted up high and the PSU low. With the MB up top, the video cards are high up too, leaving a lot of room for the hard drives down low. Helps with long video cards. The 2 included fans have switches on the case to control the speed which is nice. I plan on buying another fan for the side panel.
Nice budget case
- Pros: Sturdy, great asthetics, roomy, loads of cooling, 2 quiet fans come with 2 speed switch as part of the case. Like the 300 and the 900 series cooling should never be an issue with this case. It will accommodate any size videocard(s)
- Cons: Power switch is bad(minus 1egg), i am using the reset switch for the power switch. Some of the edges are sharp, but it is expected from a case in this price range,
- Other Thoughts: Overall even with a bad power switch, stuck in the closed circuit even though it clicks in and out like it's working properly, this is a great deal on a well constructed mid tower. Make sure the motherboard 12v power connector lead on your power supply is long enough for this bottom mounted power supply case design. If not for the bad power switch i would have given it 5 eggs
