2 out of 5 eggsAdequate Case, Overpriced

Pros: Large grommets and backside opening for cable routing.
Uniform coloring (all black).
Easily accessible/removable filters for cleaning.
Dedicated slots for two SSDs
Good space for HDDs
USB 3.0 ports
Strong magnet to hold the front cover

Cons: Somewhat cheap construction. Coming from the P182 this case felt and is definitely cheaper in design and construction than what Antec used to make.

Case feet are cheaply made and can easily fall off or break. Front door feels cheap.

Power and reset buttons are oddly placed on top away from front panel.

Drive cage is not removable.

120mm fans instead of 140 (given the current market of cases and this price, it's a valid gripe).

Sound dampening compared to the Antec P180 series is horrible, but those cases were built like tanks.

Recently, my audio jacks broke (I was plugging in a pair of headphones and they just fell into the case).

Other Thoughts: I bought this case in 2012, iirc. At the time it was a pretty good case, but it has not aged well at all compared to other offerings out there. Other brands have popped up and become popular such as NZXT and Fractal that offer a **much** better value at lower price points. Unless you can buy this case for cheaper than a similar Fractal, NZXT, CM, etc (and unless you're enamored with the design), I'd recommend against getting this case.

4 out of 5 eggsDented

Pros: Solid case; huge mid and metal in all the necessary places. Perfect for users without the need to look at their computer's insides.
Metal is thick and heavy.
This is a great looking case; the more I look at it the better it looks.

Cons: Received with small dent on top; I am not concerned with it, but it would freak out users who want perfection. It is small, perhaps 3mm in size and on the edge. Painted so maybe it happened before production? It was packaged very well so it appears to be a QC problem. I don't want the hassle of dealing with returning, but something to keep in mind next time. I like Antec, and if this wasn't a needed computer build I would return and ask Antec to replace.

5 out of 5 eggsIntelligent design, professional appearance

Pros: Large, tool-less design. Plenty of protection in cable run areas. It was nice to see grommets so your cables aren't marred or nicked. The filter under the case is easily removed allowing for cleaning. The two clip front filter is a massive improvement over the prior Antec (900 two) I was using.

The build quality is very good in my opinion. It feels solid, the front door assembly is reasonably sturdy, albeit not recommended to attempt and lift the case, empty or installed, by it.

The brushed aluminum 'look' on the front panel looks quite nice. It has a professional demeanor, and I don't mean MLG. The front panel is secured to the case when closed by a small, but effective magnet. Opening the door, even with the chassis void, there was the slightest of resistance.

Cons: No complaints, comparing this to a few other Antec cases owned.

Other Thoughts: Packed with the soft foam surround instead of regular poly. Came in with zero damage even with some abuse the exterior of the box.

3 out of 5 eggsBeautiful case

Pros: Beautiful clean Design when door closed.

Large, wide and tall Case, big plus for water cooling or large cpu coolers and long GPUs. not all GPU's will fit, HDD cage is not removable that i can see.

Supports Huge CPU cooler (coolermaster Hyper 212 with both Fans).

Lots of wire management space behind the MB tray.

Subtle blue LED for power and HDD, perfect balance between useful and subtle.

Quiet fans preinstalled with basic fan control switch run off 4-pin MOLEX from your power supply.
Provisions for more 120mm fans.
Black interior
USB3.0 header
top power and reset buttons are in a great position on top of the case to prevent accidental power cycles.
Can support 120mmx240mm water cooler on top rear of case.

Cons: Door only opens from right to left - not too bad.
Magnetic door catch is not that strong - door barely stays closed.

*Header connectors for LED's and power buttons are too short to be run through wire management to the front lower edge of a typical ATX form factor MB, much less the back lower edge where some are. -1 egg for that.

Fan "controller" that is preinstalled only has two settings, low and high, that is controlled by a switch on the back of the case. it would be better if the board could be controlled by a jumper to the motherboard.-- wishlist.?.?.?

Other Thoughts: Case requires long leads from your power supply since its mounted at the bottom of this really tall case. Cable management is GREAT!!! Soft grommets and folded edges everywhere, no sharp edges.

This is a VERY SOLID case!!!! it would have gotten 5 eggs if the header wires didn't have to be "streched" haha!!

Thank you Antec for another great case, please address the header wire length shortcoming. I know this is a couple of years old now, so this should have already been addressed. -1 egg.

5 out of 5 eggsQUIET CASE

Pros: I love this case, I make music and having the mic in the same room as your workstation can make things really difficult when your case is even somewhat loud, this thing is suuper quiet which is exactly what I was looking for, it has foam inside the case to dampen the sound and has fan block offs so your computer doesn't end up getting a bunch of dust bunnies, also the front panel has a very fine mesh that will collect a lot of dust but you don't even have to unscrew anything, just push the tabs walk out side and bang on it a few times like I just did and its all clean, I'm about to purchase a second one for my server I highly recommend these cases

Cons: Only con on this thing is the rubber feet attached with adhesive, if you are in and out of your computer like me its annoying that they pop off and you cant stick them back on, I understand the reason being is they want it to be QUIET and rubber feet will absorb the sound on say a hard floor, i'm going to drill the centers out and attach some screws and bolts and maybe some washers and it will be a perfect case, until then i put a board on the carpet and propped it up so the power supply wont fail by being suffocated by the carpet with no feet, i would like to also add they did last a long time pulling in and out of the carpet maybe 3 months

So my recommendation is when you put the feet on never slide it to pull it out from your desk, lift and maneuver if needed

Other Thoughts: the computer sits right by my leg on the floor so its easy to hit the power or reset button with my knee, it would be nice if they had more play so a gentle touch didn't make them contact

3 out of 5 eggsLow Quality

Pros: - Cable Management
- Many Drive Bays
- Roomy
- Power, reset, and USBs are easily accessible now compare to P180 and P182.

Cons: - Not Quiet Computing anymore -- Noisy
- Low Quality - Cheap Plastics
- Cheap Fans

Other Thoughts: This is my third Antec Case. I had P180, P182 and now P280. I decided to replace my p182 because two front usb ports very lose because of heavy usage. Also P280 was on sale and it offered TWO 2.0 and TWO 3.0 USB ports. I was disappointed when this case arrived and when I powered on.
Drive bays are now cheap plastic instead of steel. At least Antec still offered silicone mounts for hard drives. Fans are very loud compare to other two cases. Sound damping materials on front door and side panel does nothing. I have 2 SSD and 1 WD HD, I can hear hard drive spinning when I access WD HD. Grommet-lined cable routing holes keep coming off because it was made with cheap thin rubber.
Sorry to say, this will be my last Antec case.

2 out of 5 eggsArrived damaged

Pros: Lots of Space - definitely a full ATX case, or real close and had no problem fitting in a GTX 970.
Lots of fan slots
easy to mount hard drives and disk drives.

Cons: My power supply
Case was incredibly damaged, and not from shipping. It had a passed QC sticker on it, but had a huge dent on the bottom of the case and the front face plate christmas trees were broken. I "fixed" it with gluing the christmas tree fasteners back on the front plate, but they broke after placing the front face plate back on.

Other Thoughts: Only getting 2 eggs because case was still functional, but damaged when I received it. I was unwilling to wait a week or two for an RMA as I'm stubborn like that, but I doubt I'll recommend this or buy again.

4 out of 5 eggsA bit disappointed.

Pros: -Roomy
-Good air flow

Cons: -Not very silent.

Other Thoughts: Silence was the most important aspect in buying my case, and this under-performed in that regard. However, the air flow is fantastic, I put the top fans into the front for positive air pressure. I needed to turn the fans on low to get them quiet, and I still get some "hum."

If quiet FANS were what makes a "quiet case", I'd have purchased something like an S340 with Cougar Vortex fans.

All in all I *am* satisfied with the case. The space is quiet luxurious, great cable management space, the removable drive trays are strong with silicone/rubber grommets, etc. It just didn't fit the bill in regards to "quiet", which was important for me.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Case

Pros: Huge case with plenty of room. I was able to install a Corsair H100i with no problem and could still use all RAM slots and PCIe slots without any difficulty if I need to.

Cons: It's size can be a bit much for cable management. Trying to route cables can leave them just a little shorter then the need to be. This meant that some of my cables couldn't use the cable holes and still reach where I needed them to go. Cable extensions could fix this but I didn't want to have to wait for them to get in.

Also, be careful with the side panels! When i was recently working on installing a new cooling system, my dog (60lb husky) decided to lay on the panel when I wasn't paying attention and the panel is now slightly warped.

5 out of 5 eggsLove this Case

Pros: It's big.. plenty of room for cable management.. quality built( after reading some of the negative reviews about dents and breaking front doors I was worried since I ordered before reading reviews) seems pretty solid for a computer case door..

Cons: none..
