5 out of 5 eggsSmall, but Pretty Good

Pros: I had an Antec 300 Illusion for a while which is a pretty decent case on its own, but it was lacking some important things.

This case has a lot of features that much more expensive cases have and I got it for $40. The notable features that are integrate to a modern build are:
*Wiring channels
*Tool-less drive bays
*Bottom intake with a filter for the power supply
*Holes for liquid coolers
*Side facing hard drives (Also tool-less)

None of these things are available in the more expensive and more popular Antec 300. They're becoming more common, but this case offered them up at the time for $40 which is very rare

Cons: The only issues I have with this case is that there's no filter for the front intake and that it's a bit small. The 11 inches available for your video card card can be a tight fit, but all the cards I've put in to it (up to 10.5 inches) fit without any problems because everything routes fairly neatly around it. The size also comes in to play trying to store wires in the back panel area, but I think that was more my poor cabling skills than anything. Nothing worth removing an egg.

Other Thoughts: Why was this discontinued? It was a great low budget case.

4 out of 5 eggsQuite Good

Pros: Very low Price tag for the quality, I've had this case for about 8 months now and I really like it. The fans that came with it were very quiet however they don't move much air (someone else mentioned this) I replaced them with some High Performance Corsair AF120s and SP120s (I have a Corsair H80) and they perform better but are significantly louder.

The case is very well built and looks extremely nice. It does not have a perfect design for cable management (the back plate is a bit shallow when routing a bunch of cables back there) but with a bit of elbow grease you can get it looking quite nice. http://imgur.com/hqXVSJx there is a picture of my build in the case with decent cable management.

The front USB 3 ports work great, I read about them burning out flash drives and while I have had a flash drive die since I got this I can't be sure it was actually the case that did it as the drive was very old and cheaply made.

Cons: Mine shipped with a very slight dent in the lower portion of the front grille, hard to see except in the right light. also I have a Corsair AF120 fan at the top and the grille up there sometimes bends in, its bent in so much before that it has actually put pressure on the center of my fan and stopped it from moving completely, nearly burning it out I believe.

Other Thoughts: Overall very good case, there are a few negatives but considering the price they can be forgiven. This will soon go to my spare computer (which is currently running in an old eMachines case) and I will be replacing this one with a Corsair 650D

1 out of 5 eggsBelow standard

Pros: Hard drive bays
Cable Management

Cons: Cheap materials, front plastic broke first day. Unable to get front USB ports to work. All they do is over heat the thumb drives. Installed fans are quiet but do not move air very well and CPU heat up quick.

Other Thoughts: I gave this case to my son for Christmas and it was not a bargain, I thought Antec was better than this.

Manufacturer Response:

Hi BigMac 38,

Please send us an email at VIP@antec.com and we'll see if we can replace the broken parts. We look forward to hearing from you - thank you.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat no frills case

Pros: For the price this can't be beat. I never am one to care too much for a case, I'd rather put my money into good components. This replaced a 12 year old case and I am very impressed with the quality. Obviously not top notch, but this is more than adequate for a decent gaming system. I did cut out the LED lights though, but the stock fans do well.

Cons: No toolless PCI slots... that's about the only thing I can think of!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Price (SALE)
Looks
Fans
Material Build Quality
Air Flow Through Case
All in all I would say this is a cool looking and performing case. It went in a friends build that replaced a 5 year old Lian LI case. His temps dropped 10-15 deg while gaming on a Radeon 6950 and Intel 2500k w/ a 212 cooler! (his case had 90mm top and rear fan and a 120mm front fan)

Cons: Not really a Con but it has Blue LED's (on Fans) that will light an area of the room up.

Other Thoughts: Would buy again if I plan on building another computer.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful Case

Pros: Great case with 3 large fans. All run very quietly. Fits the OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W nicely in the bottom.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The Zalman CNPS20LQ cooler fits on the rear fan mounting without issues but it will not fit to the top fan position due to space. It interferes with the memory on my motherboard (ASUS P8Z77-V LK). This will probably depend on the individual motherboard.

4 out of 5 eggs'Meh

Pros: Case looks amazing with the four LED fans. Especially with the side panel off and glowing on the mobo. Fits a Hyper 212 EVO with room to spare(I read on here that it wouldn't). Case fans are super quite. PAINTED INTERIOR!!! I hate the steel look on the interior of some cases.

Cons: 2 things made me take an egg.
1.) Fold out PCI slots. No way to replace the cover. It comes with one replaceable cover, but that doesn't really help out much.
2.) No SSD bracket. I don't like having to mount my SSD to the bottom of the case. It would be nice if it came with a mounting bracket like most cases.

Other Thoughts: Not really a con, but the space is limited. I managed good cable routing, but it took some time.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: Great case from the Antec stable.
Nicely built
All black interior
Sufficient space for cables
Large cutout for CPU
Not expensive !
Enough slots for addons
Front mounted USB3.0 ports

Cons: I would not call it a gaming case for the following reasons...

(1) Not large enough for an ATX motherboard as advertised, especially when you have large addon cards.
(2) Need more longer feet for proper ventilation, especially on carpeted floors
(3) The 2.5" cage could have been split into 2 with removable cages to accomodate large video cards

Planning on the 1100 or P280 to move all my parts. I would give it 4-4.5 eggs

4 out of 5 eggsHigh Quality Case!

Pros: High quality! Lots of features! AMAZING price!

Cons: No external 3.5" drive bays.

Other Thoughts: I would like one 3.5" drive bay on the outside for my SD card/XD card/etc. reader. But I just got a converter to make it fit in one of the 5.25" bays.

This case has so much room inside though and has plenty of fans to keep everything cool. Also, the two USB 3.0 ports on the front...choice!
