5 out of 5 eggsMini ATX worth considering

Pros: My first micro ATX build and first micro case. Wonderful experience with my go-to case choice...ANTEC. Very solid case with those items I demand...front USB3.0 and onboard P/S with a reputation for rare failure plus a thick metal construction. Usually use the Sonatas (with 500w P/S) but this was office build and this case had PLENTY of space. NO wire management space (the hidden kind) but who cares?

Has mounting holes for TWO SSDs ...one on floor and one in REMOVABLE tray. I mounted TWO in removable tray by drilling a couple holes in the top part of the removable tray. Easy. And hey...you don't need 4 holes to mount an SSD...two are just fine.

I would suggest getting a 80mm case fan to mount in the provided location for a second fan. Mounting holes exist. Why not? And, as usual, Antec gives you a big bag of misc. screws.

Cons: 'POWER ON' LED of case front didn't work...had to resolder a cold connection at the LED. NEVER had (after 6 Sonata cases) a case problem of ANY kind so I'm not upset. Sh-- happens.

Whats with the poor fitting 4 inch snap-in hole filler on the case front??? Reminds me of cases 10 years ago where blanks were sort-of in and sort-of out! But its really okay. All is forgiven with such a great case.

Other Thoughts: This case was hard to find (at the time of my build) and Newegg was out of stock. Its still a bargain and I might consider going all mATX for my future builds. Check to see fit of large GPUs but I used compact GTX 960 in this one with NO problem.

3 out of 5 eggsgrrrr Antec!

Pros: good price for a decent case with a great power supply. i like the size of this case. simple, clean appearance.

Cons: loud rear fan and only 92mm
funky mounting for optical drive
no thumb screws
only 1-year warranty

Other Thoughts: i have built at least 30 computers using Antec NSK 4482 and Antec NSK 4482B. i have also built many using NSK 4480 & II before them. they have been, by far, my favorite basic computer case ever. their tri-cool 120mm fan was awesomely quiet while the case was sturdy, simply elegant, and quiet enough for the majority of needs before heavy gaming and editing. Antec's latest New Solutions cases, this NSK3180 and NSK4100, sadly appear to be the end of my Antec joy.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: Great case and very slick looking.

Cons: The toolless mounts for the optical drive is VERY loose. Out of the four threaded holes on the sides of the optical drive, the toolless locking bracket only locks on one of them. You can screw in the other three but you'd need a washer or something because there's nothing for the screw to grab on to.

Other Thoughts: Over all a very good case. I built a rig for my mom and she loves it and I love it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: This is the second PC I made using this case and won't be the last. As with all Antec cases, well made and user friendly. Good air flow features and quiet fans. Optical drives are mounted using a toolless bracket. Does not gather dust like some other cases.

Cons: None
