Build the ultimate gaming rig with the VA9003BWS by Thermaltake. This full tower case can accommodate Micro ATX, ATX Extended ATX and BTX motherboards. Whatever you outfit your system with will never feel cramped, with intelligent features like a moveable hard drive cage and floating front panel controls. The front hard drive module features a dedicated fan and can be placed high or low on the front panel allowing you to direct air flow as needed. As an added bonus, the front panel bezels are insulated with a wire mesh to help keep dust out.
The VA9003BWS is constructed out of aluminum and 1.0 SECC for extra durability. The side panel is lockable with two latches and houses a 250mm intake fan to drive cool air over expansion cards and the CPU. Three exhaust fans – one on the top panel and two on the rear – vent heat out to minimize system slowdown. The clear window and LED lit fans let you show off your peripherals at your next LAN party.
Push your rig to the limit with water cooling. Easy punch-out holes are built into the rear panel for convenient external radiator installation. The tool-free design makes adding drives and expansion cards a snap with integrated plastic clips and thumbscrews so you can get back to into the fight as quickly as possible. Build your gaming system with the VA9003BWS and dominate the competition today!

Truly a Super Tower
- Pros: Simply huge.
Nine 5.25" front drive bays should be plenty to work with. There's a 3-drive tray to mount 3.5" HDs on which you can easily pull out if you don't need it. For those who STILL need a floppy, there's a tray made for them. There's another 3.5" drive bay toward the rear of the case for even more storage. That's a possible total of 12 drives!
Only nine of the ten front panels can hold drives, as one slot holds a mount for the power and reset switches. The good news about this is that you can relocate the power tray to any of the slots, shortening your wire runs.
There's plenty of LED love on this case, which can be easily turned off on a small switch inside the case. Even on, the LEDs are bright while not obnoxious.
Most wire runs are long enough to support the size of the case.
It's solid construction. The front doors keep closed with a weak magnet. And if you're the type that prefers no doors? Taking them off is actually possible without too much effort.
- Cons: The "screwless" mounting mechanisms for cards and drives are both garbage. The card holder can't even begin to clip down on larger graphics cards. The drive holders secure with a minimum of force. Only really useful keeping the drive still while you get screws in. Truly, the "screwless" brackets need pulled due to their uselessness.
Certain components require an interesting shuffle to fit in, such as the power supply. Also, do NOT install heat-sensitive drives in the back, as the rear mount is sitting next to a vertically mounted PSU (and most PSUs these days spit their heat out the bottom instead of out the back).
The top-mounted panel's wires are just barely long enough to reach down to a full-sized motherboard that isn't loaded with cards. If cards were present, they may not reach.
Only two USB ports on all of case.
- Other Thoughts: This is an awesome case, but only for those with patience and technical inclination.
Awesome for a gaming and home server case.
More USB ports could've easily been mounted on the power button tray.
Great Case!
- Pros: Large, Lots of room, Great cooling
- Cons: A little loud
- Other Thoughts: This is a great case. It's very sturdy, has a ton of space inside (even with an SSI board), and the top USB/Firewire,Audio ports are nice for people who have thier towers on the ground. It is a loud though, but what do you expect with 5 fans.

I rest my case
- Pros: Solid, well constructed, side-open, all quick-release mechanisms work well, flexible fan & drive-cages, aesthetically pleasing but not too flashy. No silly design comprises like putting the PS at the bottom of the case (ugh!).
- Cons: It's a big boy. May be overkill for anything less than an E-ATX.
- Other Thoughts: What an awesome case! I bought one a couple of years ago and I've been looking high & low for a second. Stroke of luck it popped up here. Great price, although the shipping was a bit steep. Still, at < $200, try to find it anywhere cheaper.
