Build the ultimate gaming rig with the Thermaltake Nvidia edition VL200L1W2Z case. This full tower case can accommodate Mini ATX, Full ATX and Extended ATX motherboards. You’ll also be able to add as much storage as you need to install all of your games with stacks of drive bays. The included 2.5-inch drive bay future proofs your system for SSD and blazing speed!

The side panel can house a 230mm intake fan to drive cool air over expansion cards and the CPU. Best of all, you’re in total control over your system’s cooling with the integrated fan speed control knob built into the front panel so you can turn up the air flow for demanding games. The Colorshift fans change hues depending on fan speed, which will make you the hit of your next LAN party.

4 out of 5 eggsQuite pleased!

Pros: The size is great. I can fit everything inside this case. It was quite the shocker when i pulled it out of the box on how solid and large it was.

Cons: 1 blue LED light on 2 fans went out in the first couple weeks which really bummed me out. Also the front USB leads malfunction with my MOBO and wont let it start up. (which still confuses me to this day)

Other Thoughts: Overall i am very pleased with this case. It is EXTREMELY solid. I read quite a few reviews that said it is a waste of money and how it isn't great for cooling, but so far i have had nothing but great temps. Sucks that a couple LEDs went out, but that isnt really a HUGE deal. So ill still give 4 eggs for overall performance of the case. I really like the multi-color feature and variable spin speed option.

1 out of 5 eggsKind of disappointed.

Pros: This case is awesome no doubt about it. Lots of room and lots of different configurations for your hardware.

Cons: you can access the back of the motherboard... but I cant fully access the back of my processor to mount my cpu liquid cooling backplate.

Oh and Thermaltake's customer support is trash, rebate wad declined with no explaination why. Also some of the pins in the wiring were bent which didnt seem like muc of a problem until the rebate got denied... Thinking about returning it...

Other Thoughts: ... I dont know, Im probably just upset... that 40 could have really helped out... Probably wont be doing any rebates through thermaltake again... Actually this will probably be the last time i buy from them...

Manufacturer Response:

We at Thermaltake apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. Please email all info about your rebate to ttsupport@thermaltakeusa.com.

4 out of 5 eggs4 stars but not 5

Pros: worked right out of the box, controller for fan speed and lights works no problem

packaging was tight with foam was hard to remove from box meaning it was packed well from the factory

Cons: i like quiet fans that you dont really hear, these fans are kind of loud they arent like a vacuum or an airplane but they arent quiet as they really could be.

once tower goes off it doesnt save your light color setting on the fans so its back to blue by default

extra fan included in the box is heavy and bulky i didnt mount it anyway i figured big bulky probably means its loud too

Other Thoughts: consider making the controller able to remember the color setting you had it on

the spare fan included in the box is bulky and heavy but the rest of the fans in the case are lightweight and same size or bigger? whats the meaning of this ?

5 out of 5 eggsLooks smexy!

Pros: Pros: Was shipped within a single day. Ordered it Monday got it Tuesday. The fans run extremely quite. And oh my is there a ton of room, although I am used to mid towers.

Cons: My one con is that the power supply and my mother board had some issues. The ATX 12v connector from my power supply, which is at the bottom of the tower, could barely reach its port at the top of my motherboard, which was at the top of the case. I barely got it to work luckily.

Other Thoughts: This is my very first full tower gaming case. Hopefully it is a great experience!

4 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: -Cosmetically, a very sharp looking case.

-Case is spacious, allows for easy cable management and lots of air flow.

-Love the fact that Thermaltake painted the interior of the case on this one as my last nVidia case was pretty ugly looking inside and had no room at all, so huge improvement.

-5" inch drive bays are genuinely tool-less.

Cons: -The details are incorrect on this listing. The top exhaust fan (should have read the other reviews first) is a 170mm, not the 200 mm the video and the details state, so don't make the mistake I did and order a second 200 mm fan for it. Note: This is NOT Neweggs fault, they have it listed as the specs list, it is a misprinting on Thermaltakes side, unfortunately.

And as another reviewer states, the "tool-less" icage for your 3.5 drives is NOT tool-less. You must unscrew it before you can remove it and install your hdds.

-There is not a quick release option for the PCI slots, they're the old school screw in your card type, which is fine, but somewhat difficult due to the angles (I have tiny hands and tiny tools, still had a difficult time with it), so be prepared there.

-Finally. not really a con, actually attests to the spaciousness of this case, but I have a sabertooth mobo with i7 chip and cooler master v8 CPU cooler, which is why I needed to up my case from the previous nVidia model (I love the black and green). If you are coming from a case that previously housed your psu on top, and your mobo 8 pin was also on top, GET THE 8-PIN EXTENSION cable. This is a MUST (at least for me) as the 8-pin lead from my current psu is about 6 inches too short to make it comfortably around the CPU cooler. (4 inches too short to make it at all, comfortable or not.)

Other Thoughts: All in all a great case, even if slightly mis-represented by Thermaltake in regards to the fan sizes and "tool-less" options.

4 out of 5 eggsMkay

Pros: Quite durable and easy to install.
Plenty of room inside the case and no worries of it breaking.

Cons: Can't seem to keep the light color to stay the same between computer startups.
Either extremely hard or no where to install an SSD so mine is technically only held down by zip ties.
Bottom filter sheet breaks easily - not that important but yea it part of the thing.

Other Thoughts: Sadly had to retransport it and and upon trying to put it in the box all four of the little foot stands broke.
I really hate rebate websites...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case, big case

Pros: Huge, solid, spacious, thermaltake is a great brand and make good products.

Cons: Power supply fit is a bit tight and power supplies with top facing fans will be down facing at the bottom of the case. No dual 170mm top exhaust fans; ordered Xigmatek to fill the space, although it will not match the other color-shift fans.

Other Thoughts: There are screws in the iCage removable bays that must be removed prior to accessing. The top fans are 170mm not 200mm.
