Thermaltake SHARK VA7000BWA Black Aluminum ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: lots of room inside since its a full tower so itll take whatever u wanna put in it, lots of good airflow, solid build and nice looking

Cons: 1 of the LED lights on the front of the tower was lighting up my room cuz it was hitting the ceiling lol too bright so i had to disconnect the front door led. also, the locking side panel opens easily even when in the locked position, so poorly designed lock will keep noone out of your tower

Pros: Toolless drive slots, but they need to be attached with screws onto the 5 1/4" drives. Just like an old antec 830s and 840s. I had a door laying around from an old 830 and it fit on the shark! Transverse drive mounts similar to antec sonata and super lanboy. Solid case for how light it is. The front panel looks really nice, being solid cast aluminum, thick stuff.

Cons: Blue LED in door is very annoying. Bad cooling in front, it has a 120 in there, but there isn't enough room in there for airflow, so your drives just cook. Also, there isn't any air vent with the front panel closed, so you have to keep it open when it's running, or your drives just roast like a thanksgiving turkey. It's also a dustbuster. Really.

Other Thoughts: Bought it locally when I needed a case that would take 4 drives in front, and had problems with my RAID array. The drives (Seagate barracuda ES) were 40-50c with a 120mm blowing on them!!! I put that hardware in an antec 1200, and the drive temps went down to 33-34c, and stayed there. Also, I assembled it about christmas time, and it's been full of dust for months. It needs filtration, but doesn't have enough flow for proper cooling. Looks impressive in the store. Pass it up and get the antec 1200, it's about the same size and price, and it has FAAARRRRR better cooling.

Pros: This is an excellent case. Easily the best case I have ever owned. It is built like a tank and is spacious on the inside. It is a pleasure to upgrade a system with this case, and I am sure I will have this case for many years to come. If you buy this case you wont regret it.

Cons: None.

Pros: Have two small sons they can't brake this door. No heat probs, lots of room. Able to put a BFG 9800 GX2 that card is HUGE and it fit into the case. Easy to use trays.

Cons: Shark Cases ROCK

Pros: Lightweight comparative to its size, easy to work inside, durable paint job, nice aesthetics, good craftsmanship. I've had it for almost 3 yrs now I guess and little to no problems with it.

Cons: The filter for the front fan is a pain to get to. I have to amost disassemble the font panel of the case to get to it. I finally just removed the filter for good. Also the blue LED's on the front are blindingly bright. Every once in a while, some aluminum part of the case will start to vibrate and produce a very annoying noise, the only way I've found to stop it is by smacking the top of the case, but it could be something I didn't tighten down, I'm not sure yet.

Other Thoughts: Overall I've been very pleased with it. I wish it had some more modern conveniences such as tool-less drive bays. I do like the PCI retention bracket though, its a breeze to install cards with. I love the fact that it's ready to support water cooling.

Pros: Solid and no cheap parts for an aluminum case. Maintains a light weight for a full tower. Plenty of ventilation due to the massive vents in the side and two 120mm blue fans in the front and the back. Sharp design, looks great. Has great potential for adding more lighting effects because the big vents let you see a lot while not being a big glass door.
Very spacious.

Cons: The only problem I ran into with this case is that my screw holes for my DVD drive did not line up. I corrected this by drilling holes in the proper places. This was easy to do since it's made from aluminum.

Other Thoughts: I had no problems with wire management. on the inside this is the cleanest looking computer I've ever built. Minimal wire exposure due to using lots of tie downs.
Yes it scratches easier than most cases but its a computer case get over it.
It's not unstable or unsturdy, it's just fine for an aluminum case. It's not supposed to be steel it's made to be lightweight and it does its job. That's why the metal inside is "cheaper" or "flimsier" than a steel case but that's the standard for aluminum cases and I've had no problems with this.

Pros: I purchased this case after seeing it in person at a local Computer store. This is a VERY strong and sturdy case, with PLENTY of space for many things. I currently have 4 HD's, 2 DVD drives, and 1 Blu-Ray drive, SLI 7800GTXOC cards and an Soundblaster fatality. Amongst other things, this case takes everything you throw at it, including the constant transporting for Lans.

Cons: The only Con i can think of is THIS CASE IS HEAVY. Granted, i have about 1800 dollars worth of parts jammed in it, but none the less, its heavy.

Other Thoughts: The case only has 2 120mm fan bays, but there is a huge vent on the side that allows for plenty of ventilation.

Pros: Very Large case, fits everything, including 2 8800 gt gpus. The case looks great, very sturdy. Overall a very good buy.

Cons: Its been a little over 2 years since I bought the case, wear and tear is inevitable. However, very upset that the power button started malfunctioning a few months ago and now is totally broken, no way to fix it as it is a hard to/near impossible section to reach.

Other Thoughts: Good case overall, just wish I could fix the power button.

Pros: Well this case while large barely fits large video cards, I installed 2 8800 GTS KO's in this with less than 1 in. of clearance. The air flow is great and keeps everything cool. Clips and trays for everything, very easy installation.

Cons: Big but if you have a lot of wires cable management is a bit rough.

Other Thoughts: The led in the front isnt that bright as people say, and I used zip ties on the honeycomb side to install 2 extra fans, keeps the video cards even cooler.

Pros: This case is phenomenal! It is by far the best case I have ever owned. It's completely aluminum and is well vented on the side so it keeps everything extremely cool inside. On the cheaper cases the front doors often break off the hinge but this front door is completely aluminum and sturdy. My second system build using this case and I'll probably ocntinue to use it for quite a few more. I love the motherboard tray and mounting hardware for the hard drives and internal bays.

Cons: Gets dirty inside easily and LED can be blinding if you look at it from the wrong angle.

Other Thoughts: Great case! I highly recommend it if you're looking for a high quality case that is going to last.
