4 out of 5 eggsTough and airy.

Pros: Lots of room for air to pass through. Good for keeping parts from overheating. Haven't had too much trouble with it. Good sized and easy access to insides for poking around when needed.

Cons: Position of the power supply made it hard to assemble, and I have to keep it on a hard surface instead of just the carpet, or the fan can't ventilate. Computer got blue screens the first few days, but everything has been fine since, so can wave that off as a personal error. Have owned it for 4 months, and when the beefy graphics card starts to run both its fans, it has the right ventilation to keep it cool.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent case for price

Pros: This is a great case for the price, great cooling properties and aesthetic design. I really like the all black with front grills.

Cons: The largest downfall of this case is no wire management capabilities. If you plan on packing in a lot of hardware, you are going to struggle finding a place to route all the wires. No grommets on any of the sheet metal ports and I'm not a fan of LEDs so the blue light was kinda annoying for me, which others don't mind.

Other Thoughts: I returned this case and bought a NZXT H230 just because i wanted the wire management capabilities so badly, but if you want a low priced case while sacrificing some features, this is a perfect case for you.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic!

Pros: I love this case! It handles a positive pressure setup beautifully. My temps are cooler than running my old case wide open.

Cons: The case only came with 1 fan. With the price I can understand, but the description lead me to believe there would be two.
The LED Fan for the rear has blue LEDs that shine onto the fan blades, it is not itself luminous.

Other Thoughts: Once I added a couple high CFM LED fans this case looks amazing. Even my wife asked if she could get one for her new comp.

1 out of 5 eggsDo not buy

Pros: Case has nice clean look, good room for many fans and heat dissipation. Bottom mounted power supply is nice with fan filter. Screwless design works well for dvd drive, but not for hard drive...which still needs extra screws on back side.

Cons: One MAJOR con: The power button apparently touches the internal switch with a little pressure when cover is in place. This causes the motherboard to randomly, yes randomly, shut off or sleep at will. Perhaps just heat variation causing a little flexing. Regardless it IS the cause. It runs perfect WITHOUT cover in place. Once cover is back on, problem occurs again.

Other Thoughts: Not much point having a nice looking case if it won't stay on or operate the power switch properly unless the cover is OFF

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We at Thermaltake apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. We can replace the front panel or power switch through warranty service. Please contact our customer service team for RMA instructions.

2 out of 5 eggsPower button sticks ; hard to liquid cool

Pros: Looks nice. Not a bad price.

Cons: Power button will stick, causing PC to infinite boot or not boot at all until you remove the front face. took FOREVER to figure out that was the problem

The rear fan port isn't compatible with many self contained liquid coolers. You're forced to use the incorrect holes to jury rig a fan on. Spacing is a problem in there too.

Other Thoughts: Maybe we just got a dud? I'm kicking myself for not sticking with Cooler Master or Rosewill cases. I'm sure if you get one that doesn't have the power button stick issue and are okay with using a stock cooler, this case is fine

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
We can have the front face replaced through warranty service. Please contact Customer Service who will provide RMA instructions. The V3 Black Edition was also not designed for liquid cooling; however, Customer Service can help to provide solutions to install a liquid cooling system.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case / Fan Issue

Pros: This was my first build so take what I say with a grain of salt. I found the case easy to work with easy to disassemble and install all that I needed to. For the money it is a great case has plenty of room for growth without being a towering behemoth in my office.

Cons: There are two mounting spots for fans in the top of the case, made for 120mm fans. HOWEVER, the MOB and the memory sticks prevented me from being able to install the two fans I had purchased to mount there. I plan on modifying the fan housings with a drimel to see if I can get them to fit.

The other issue was there was not enough room where the front case fan goes for an separate air filter that I had bought. I was really hoping to be able to filter all the air coming into the case. Again, I am going to work on some way of making this happen though.

3 out of 5 eggsOK, but..

Pros: Very easy to build, loved the drive mounting system, plenty of ventilation.
Really like the ps on the bottom of case.

Cons: -Power switch would not work after re-installing front panel, had to fool around with it, even give it the 'slap' fix until it finally works now - HOPEFULLY it will keep working.
-Missing one mounting post for a m-atx board, the one kitty corner from the ps2 keyboard connectors.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
The V4 Black Edition has some built in stand-offs and additional stand offs should have been provided with the accessory pack. If they were missing, please contact Customer Service for replacements. The V4 Black Edition is also backed by a 3 year manufacture warranty. If the power button does fail, it would be covered under the warranty and can be replaced.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy!

Pros: Great space and plenty of options!

Cons: ALL 4 cases that I ordered had power button issues. The front bezel is TOO tight and presses up against the power button. This makes the button constantly depressed.

We added washers to all four screws on the front bezels to make the button work properly, but it's touchy. The normal edition of this case does not have this issue.

Other Thoughts: Get the non-gaming version of this case. It works a lot better!

3 out of 5 eggsDecent but lacking.

Pros: Solid case. Easy as any other case I have ever had.

Cons: No SSD mount location provided. Had to purchase one. Also not very easy to run wires to hide them. Did not include grounding screw for mother boards. Gave me a post that stuck up through mother board to center with no nut or anything. What is that all about. Switched out with a normal mounding peg for the mother board with case.

Other Thoughts: Purchased a full sized case for room mates computer build and had way more options than this tower for all most no extra money over this tower. If you have the room for a full size tower, I would get one over this. Way easier to install everything, and way more room for upgrades later.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
The SSD is mounted at the bottom of the case. There are no brackets as the SSD will mount directly to the case. The center post is used to balance and help with installation of the motherboard. Lastly, ground screws are no longer required as motherboards manufacture do not place circuits, wiring, etc near the screws to prevent any electrical issues. If you require additional assistance, please contact Customer Service. Customer Service is always happy to help with any issues or questions you may have regarding Thermaltake products.
