5 out of 5 eggsLove this Case !

Pros: This case still runs like it was new. (fans)
Honestly, it looks really sleek and stylish. I did replace the power supply with a BFG 650w BUT the original one from this case is still running strong in another system case.
Highly recommend this case !

Cons: Zero, what-so-ever.

3 out of 5 eggsThermaltake VL84301W2Z V3 Black Edition with 430W

Pros: Case arrived intact and great condition. Blue light fan is bright.

Cons: SATA power connector was broken upon arrival. Not a big deal but limits the # of SATA devices that can be used

Other Thoughts: This is my 1st Thermaltake case. Have used Antec in the past but this came with everything needed.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent mid range case

Pros: Power supply included

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Good case and power supply for a normal build, if you want to run an SLI or Crossfire set up the power supply is not big enough, but plenty for anything else. I have had very good success with Thermaltake and these are the only cases and power supplies that I use now.

5 out of 5 eggsQuality and Price!

Pros: This is a sturdy case for the price and that fact that it comes with a 430watt Dual 12v Rail PSU is just icing on the case (cake). Assembly went smooth and easily with 2 cons. Also - I would buy this case again for clients budget builds.

Cons: 2 issues with this case which would not deter me from re-ordering more of these cases.

1. The front optical drive bay cover was so tight as others mentioned that is seems impossible to remove it. After some head scratching...I found if I carefully pried the 3 tabs that hold the front end of the case on that I could move out 1 side of the front end of the case to slip the drive bay cover out between the case and the front end. ..what a pain.

2. I installed a card reader into the front 3.5" bay and the tool-less latch didn't secure it in a flush position to the case... I am thinking cheap card readers holes were not machined in correct positions. I think the tool-less latches can be discarded and regular screws can be used to adjust the position of the card reader to be flush with front of case.

Other Thoughts: I would order this case again. It has minor annoyances, but is a great value and comes with a great power supply for general use. The power supply is powering an AMD FX-4300 Quad Core, 2tb Seagate, 8gb Ram, and AMD Sapphire HD7770 video card, Xigmatek Card Reader, and Lite-On DVD Burner with ease.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty good case

Pros: Good, basic, simple design and sturdy build.
Ample space for extras if you want them.
Very good ventilation and fan placement.
Looks clean and nice.
Great for a first build if that's what you're looking for, and good for second, third, etc builds as well.
Easily customizable, plates come off easy and painlessly.

Cons: The plastic pegs that hold up drives in the bays are a bit tricky to fiddle with at first, but it's not terrible to get a hang of.
If you don't have exhaust fans on the top of the case, dust can go into it easier than other cases because of the holes made for ventilation.
Nothing else to report.

Other Thoughts: I've owned this case for almost 2 years, upgraded my system twice, and never felt the need to get a new case. It grows on you.

4 out of 5 eggsSomething not to do

Pros: Good case for standard builds
Blue leds

Cons: If you get a full ATX motherboard you have no room at them top for your water cooling
Had trouble with wiring on some video cards

Other Thoughts: My build with this case:
Motherboard : Asrock Fatal1ty 2011 socket
CPU : i7 3930K Hexcore
Cooling : Coolermaster Seidon 240M (can not fit inside case have to have fans on the outside)
Graphic Card : x2 HIS IceQ 7850 HD 4 gig (Wire management is a nightmare)
Memory : x4 4 gig Avexir DDR3 1600
PSU : 1000v Coolermaster
SSD: Sandisk 128 G

It runs but looks kind of sloppy, if you are just wanting to do a basic build with it I'd recommend it.

Also had to take out back fan to squeeze Water cooling system in it

3 out of 5 eggsIt's alright

Pros: Good air flow with plenty of fan ports for expansion.
Bottom mount power supply
Pre-punched motherboard tray makes it nice not to fiddle with riser pins so much.
Good looking design.

Cons: Brittle plastic used on the front panel. The drive bay plate holders have no spring and bend nearly to the breaking point when taking out the bay covers. The 2 top mounting pegs in the front panel are also made of brittle plastic and one of them snapped off a finger while I was putting the front panel back onto the case being as gentle as I could be. The bottom 4 are made of metal and are sturdy.

Front panel power led connector is a 3 space pin connector with the blank space in the middle and the ASUS motherboard I was using just used a 2 pin connection, which forced me to take apart and move the connectors to a side by side configuration to work.

Other Thoughts: I have used primarily Thermaltake cases for a long time. The last 3 cases I have used for myself have been in a Xaser III, Armor, and most recently the Chaser, non of which gave me a gripe. I know those are premium cases but at the same time your quality standards should remain in all of your case designs and unfortunately it is lacking a bit in this Case.

Manufacturer Response:

Hi Mazelon,
We at Thermaltake apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. We can replace those broken parts through warranty service. Please contact our customer service team for RMA instructions.

4 out of 5 eggsGood price

Pros: Easy to use
Finished on the inside (big plus. no bare metal)
Plenty of room
Overall Sexiness Factor
Includes power supply

Cons: Cable management is not as good as you would see on a $100+ case
Included PSU not sufficient for gamers
Not enough included quick releases
Bay panel snaps are known to bend and break

Other Thoughts: I have this case on my main PC and love it. Compared to all cases of it's class on the planet it would only deserve 3 eggs, but the price-per-feature is outstanding, even if you pay full price for it and don't catch it on sale (currently only $50!).

5 out of 5 eggsNice case and Power Supply

Pros: Case is nice, but the better part is the Power Supply, the power supply is a thermaltake 430W, these are really good Powe supplies and are sold in newegg for $39.99 and these are the new ones with multiple sata connector (the old ones just had 2 sata connectors)

Cons: Thermaltake Cases comes with the bay for Power supply in the lower part which makes harder to connect the 4 pin power connector to all way up, I personally don't like the blue led and the case is a little flimsy

Other Thoughts: I bought like 50 of the thermaltake 430W power supplies by itself and they are very good, I didn't have even one RMA, the case ends up costing like $10.00 only

4 out of 5 eggsMr

Pros: Bottom mount 120mm fan spot in front of bottom mount psu great included psu prob worth more than the case nice 120mm rear fan included good cable running spaces. GREAT offsets for mini atx motherboard everything is supported. Front cables are well marked and single peices when possible.

Cons: Pretty much impossible to mount fans in top of case at least not 120mm fans anyhow, not enough room between top of case and motherboard also rear exhaust fan is in the way also. If you are installing add on cards be careful the case back is not rigid enough and moving the case around will tend to pull the cards somewhat out of the motherboard may be corrected with installation of video card currently running with gpu only but needed wireless card. Top snaps for front panel are cheap plastic broke one first time taking off front cover however 4 lower snaps are metal and seem to hold fine even when missing 1 of the top plastic ones.

Other Thoughts: I would not trust the quick secure things I used screws since I have to ship this case.
