Following the high-profile launch of Level 10 Super Gaming Modular Case, the design collaboration between Thermaltake and BMW Group DesignworksUSA in 2009, Thermaltake looks to invigorate the PC enthusiasts with the latest Level 10 GT computer case.

The design language of the Level 10 GT expresses a passion for visual aesthetics deriving from demanding and immersive gameplay and multimedia entertainment enthusiasm. Modern games and entertainment applications also require highly advanced hardware configurations, which at the same time request more space and optimized ventilation than conventional hardware. The mightily elegant appearance of the Level 10 GT is conveying strength, robustness and is thereby the manifestation of sheer will power to achieve the utmost of success. With the unique ColorShift fans an additional ambience is generated completing and enhancing exactly this impression.

Not just inspiriting the visionary, Level 10 GT comes standard with every premium features a PC enthusiast or hardcore gamer would want. Connectivity array includes four USB 2.0 ports and a pair of audio ports located on the front bezel, plus two USB 3.0 ports and one eSATA port located on the top for high-speed data transfer. Locking systems for both hinged side-panel door and hot-swappable hard drive caddies are embedded to prevent theft when the system is brought to LAN events or public areas. 120mm or 240mm radiators can be easily attached to the top side of the chassis when enthusiasm pushes you to the ultimate limits. Fully black-powdered interior is perfect for anyone wishing to showcase the impressive components. The Level 10 GT. Driving Inspiration.

5 out of 5 eggsVery great case

Pros: - Very easy installation of hardware
- LOTS of room for more upgrades
- Keeps Components very cool even w/ stock heat sink for cpu
- Even though parts are made of plastic, it still feels very well built.
- took me around 15 - 30 min to build the computer
- Also this is a neat freak's dream come true, lots of wire management

Cons: - somewhat expensive

Other Thoughts: Probably going to SLI in the future along w/ liquid cooling for the cpu/gpu and adding a fully modular PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic case but it is HUGE

Pros: It looks amazing. The layout of everything makes it very easy to manage all of your cables and keep things tidy. The fans that come with this case are incredibly quiet, even on high. For those of you with pets or a dusty environment, the fans to have screen filters that come out very easily and with little effort making it incredibly simple to blow dust out. The low/high fan control on the top of the case is a nice addition. There are plenty of front/top-panel USB ports.

All in all, the case is incredibly spacious and provides for excellent airflow and cable management. Well worth the buy.

Cons: The pictures don't do it justice - this thing is a LOT larger than I had originally thought. Not a big deal, though it did not fit under my desk as my old computer did so it required some rearranging (and cleaning) before it found its home.

At first my SSD in one of its trays did not line up properly with the backplate so it was disconnected. I didn't notice this when I put it together, so I spent almost a half hour thinking I had blown up my SSD. Moral of the story: make absolutely sure the back of your drives line up properly with that backplate before buttoning everything up and powering on.

Other Thoughts: The customizable fan colors makes it easy to match this with the colors from your various other accessories, but can get annoying for those with OCD and little children that like to push buttons.

4 out of 5 eggsMaster Mold

Pros: Case is a great for the multiple drive swapping if you are maintaining computer in different locations.

Cons: When I received the case the power button would not stay in place. I just re-glued back in place

Other Thoughts: It was taller and wider then I thought, so it does not fit in desk like others

5 out of 5 eggsThere is nothing better...

Pros: Everything! Everything about this case is outstanding. Lots of room, hot swap HDD bays(motherboard has to support hotswap of course), fans are ball bearing fans which is double good, the locking mechanism is not a cheap afterthought. I do believe, I'll be using this case for a few years to come

Cons: No cons! I'm perfectly happy with the case

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This case is amazing. The hinged door and quick swap bays are great features.

Cons: Only con is that since size was not an issue ( this thing is enormous), why is there such a small space for cable management? 1/2 inch more room would have made this case perfect.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's Beautiful

Pros: It's gorgeous. The hot swap drive bays are wonderful. The backplate wiring is genius, very few cables are visible. The removable filters, the huge amount of space.... It had plenty of room for the big honking video card I put in and the big honking Zalman CPU cooler. The fans are almost silent. I cannot say enough good things about this case.

Cons: Just a few nitpicky things. First, I built this for a client and not myself. :( 2nd thing is that when I first got it, the side fan would not change LED color in sync with the rest. That seemed to clear up after a while. Apparently the side door wasn't closed well enough and the contacts weren't making good.... contact. Thermaltake was quick to respond to my query about that. The only thing I can complain about, sorta, is the fans always default to blue. But I built this thing to be all red. Red LED on the Zalman fan, wanted the case fans to match. But every time you turn it off or hibernate, it defaults to blue and you have to change the color.

Other Thoughts: I named her Niobe. She idles at 73 degrees. Even at 'high speed', the fans are basically silent. This case brought with it a learning curve, though. I've built hundreds of boxes, but this one was special. It's a very large case, but if you are building something really awesome, I recommend you start with this case.
