4 out of 5 eggsAmazing Case

Pros: Mesh so it takes air in very well. Mostly metal case, easy bay clips, built in usb 3.0, removeable filter for front and bottom of case.

Cons: Mesh.. case gets dusty rather easy because of it.

Other Thoughts: Only complaint that i see for me personally would be that only my first bay drive actually clicks in the others seem to move around and not lock. Otherwise this case is amazing.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Case

Pros: Alot of room for my parts, easy to clean the vents, Not heavy at all. Very durable and looks edgy without going overboard. Love the color changes you can do without redo a new fan.
Very solid

Cons: none.

5 out of 5 eggsBest case I've ever owned

Pros: Quiet
Superior cooling
Excellent cable management
Server-style lever lock drive trays
Quick-lock and easy-release 5 1/4" bays

Cons: It's not cheaper?

Other Thoughts: This is honestly the best case I've ever owned, and I've owned several. I view a case as an investment; a good case will last for many years and many builds. My last Thermaltake case lasted me 9 years; a case from 2005 cooled sufficiently well to handle a GeForce GTX 480 and an AMD 8350. This case is, likewise, excellent. I only upgraded because I upgraded to a GeForce 980, and I was concerned about cooling.

This case was, by far, the easiest build I've ever done. The tolerances are incredibly tight. The motherboard lined up perfectly, with no need to push and finagle it to get the screw holes to align. The cable routing is superb; I've never done a cleaner build. Air flows freely through the chassis, with no obstructions. The drive trays are server-style, with a lever locking system. Instead of bending them to remove the drives like in more cheaply-built cases, there are removable tabs at the sides that retain them. This means they won't break over years of use. My DVD drive slid right in and locked by itself, completely flush. Releasing it is as simple as pulling a lever.

One thing you should always look for in a case is side air vents. This is crucial, because it allows fresh air to be drawn in directly above your video card and other components. Placing the case under negative pressure (more fans going out than in) will passively draw air in through these vents, without the need for an extra fan. The end result is far better cooling than even the best ventless cases. The Chaser G1 has excellent side vents, and more than sufficient exhaust fans to make this scheme work.

Possibly my one concern is that the hard drive dock and eSATA ports are intended to connect to a standard motherboard SATA port. This is potentially problematic, because many motherboard SATA controllers do not have hot-swap capability. This can be overcome with an adapter cable if your motherboard has eSATA ports, but you should be cautious about simply plugging in a drive while the system is running.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Case!

Pros: Very spacious, many places to put fans, space to place a large radiator for water cooling at top of case, the feet at the bottom keep the case a couple of inches off the carpet to provide better airflow

Cons: The power button is a little wiggly and cheap feeling, but definitely not a deal breaker by any means.

Other Thoughts: This was the first time I've ever attempted to build a PC, and I couldn't be happier with this case. It was an absolute pleasure to work in, and I'd definitely recommend anyone, regardless of PC-building experience, to dive headfirst into this beast of a case; you won't regret it. You'll never feel like you're working in a cramped space.

In case anyone is interested. I've chosen the Asrock Extreme 6 motherboard and blue G.Skill Ripjaws 1300 (2x8GB) Ram, and the colors of these mesh well with the case (light blue). The Asrock Extreme 6 motherboard is amazing for the price by the way, and there is currently a rebate and 10 dollar off promotion if anyone's interested. It was rated best Z97 motherboard for the money by Tom's Hardware in 2014.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointing Deterioration

Pros: Well-covered features, you know the potential of this case by the time you see this review. I wanted it for the abundant USB headers and top-mounted drive bay in particular, and have filled up the 200mm extra fan mounts just because they exist.

Cons: 19 months of residential operation now. After about six months, the power button started to noticeably deteriorate: it became hard to actuate, and took a little wiggling. After a year, it needed jamming and rocking. A few months later, the power button has ceased to operate completely. I have to reach inside and use Gigabyte's onboard debugging power switch to power up. It's disgusting, I avoid doing this in polite company.

You might imagine that this is an important part of a computer case, and you'd be right. The other case components followed close behind: the drive bay, light controller, and fan controller have all ceased to operate, and one of the four USB ports has failed as well.

It's been treated well, it lives in a dry desert environment free of pets or children; no spills or abuse. It just slowly died.

I assume the rest are soon to follow. I've never had a case (or any of numerous other TT components over the years) die on me like this, but my disappointment is bitter and woeful.

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: cables are well managed.
love the cable management system.
lots of room for different things.
case has USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 on front of case so you have more ports than just what comes from your MB.
case keeps components computer with the option to adjust fan speed on the case.

Cons: none that I can see so far.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for a Newbie

Pros: I love the huge size of this case! Definitely great for over compensating ;). Has great space and room for more HDD. The stock fans are all extremely quiet,

Cons: The only con I could really come up with is that, for a guy built his first computer with this case, the labeling of the front panel coords could have been better. But that was all solved with google.

Other Thoughts: I would get this case again.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible Case!

Pros: I helped a friend build his computer in this. The case is so aesthetically pleasing. It looks like a night club! You can cycle between a small group of colors, or set it to automatically cycle itself! (red, blue, green, and purple??? i think?? I don't own it yet). The side panel has plenty of viewing room for the parts, especially nice if you have a power supply that lights up! The hdd bays make installation stupid easy. Honestly, the whole building process was much easier in this case than any case I've worked with. Its almost elementary. I'm buying this case very soon as I was instantly envious of my friends build when we completed it.

Cons: The only trouble (and very slight trouble) I had were the plug ups for the front I/O's, but follow the mobo and case manuals. They're a little tricky. No eggs off for that, though. Some people say the case is too big. I disagree. The bigger, the better for me. It could be even bigger and I'd be fine with it, but that's not complaining.

Other Thoughts: Great for beginner builders with large hands like I have, and even better for veteran builders who are tired of wrestling with cables and screws.

4 out of 5 eggsFantastic case

Pros: -Lots of room
Cools very well just using standard fans... I live in Texas, it gets to be 40C here, and we let it get 30C in the house, still keeps my cpu under 50
-Hot-swap Dock is amazing and have fallen in love
-Plenty of 5" drive bays, and even more 3.5" and 2.5"
-Side window is well placed, not showing bottom part
-Low and High Fan settings
-Mostly solid construction
-Easy to build in
-Every intake is filtered
-Looks BOSS!

Cons: Very hard to move around, I would not say too heavy or big for a computer but with how much it does weigh and how big it is, your default method of picking it up would typically be to grab it by the bottom front, and top rear which is a HUGE NO! with this case. Both are the pry off points for the panels, to the designers out there who made this, bad, no! Most people who try and move it the first time either rip the panels off or get it off the ground in time for me to yell to put it back down. As a collage student who moves in and out of dorms, this aspect is horrid, which removes half a star. The other half is offed by the cheaply constructed little things, which all thing considered is why this case does not cost twice as much as it does. But just to notify you things I would say feel cheap are: headphone rest (keep mine folded away and am just waiting for it to rip off), the feet, the drive bay tray lock-ins, and EVERY filter, broke one of the locks on the front filter, and cracked the other on first taking it out, and they all have the mesh over hanging with jagged edges and lose threads.

Other Thoughts: Keep in mind all and all this is one of the best cases I have ever used, and is by far going to stay my main rig's case. I would recommend for someone moving around a lot to get a different one, like a CM storm scout, but this thing is great. The fans do get loud when you turn them up, but do the job well and get quiet when they are on low. If neither of those are a reason not to buy this case, then you have no reason to not buy this case.... buy it... now
