4 out of 5 eggsGood Case

Pros: Big and roomy. The case comes with many nice features that make things easier to include easy docking for Sata SSD's and CD-DVD & Blu-Ray. Very Roomy. Very LED-Glowy. Very cool looking.

Cons: The Chaser has two pre-placed 200mm fans; one on top and one in front. These fans are multi-LED and give the case it distinct look. I had thought for the first 3 days that I had put the wire lead for the front fan in the wrong place as it would turn on, but not glow. I later learned, after the computer was completely assembled, that there was a break in one of the LED wires on the fan itself. Frustrating as its not worth taking apart for one small LED wire.

Other Thoughts: If they just sold those multi-led fans I'd fix it myself.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsvery nice case

Pros: I have owned a few thermaltake cases in the past and always found some bad flaws like the drive's tool less clips break, or the case plus fans would get dirty easily. This case has better tool less drive clips and has screens for the fans. Plus the rubber boots they use to route cables is nice. They also included WIRE TIES! Very nice. They also put the motherboard mount screws in for you! They really did a lot better with this case and learned from their short comings on the others.

Cons: Really non so far... but i would like to see less plastic there future versions.

Other Thoughts: Great case for a full tower. Has great options and is user friendly.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case!

Pros: Lots of cooling and fan locations. Looks great, easy to use, solid construction.

Cons: HEAVY! Light on top front goes from off to ~50% then fades up to 100%, fades down to 50% then turns off. This pattern is repeated. My understanding was that it was supposed to fade from 0% to 100% smoothly, it doesn't. Also the tower mounted fan control buttons are right next the reset button. I was worried I'd hit reset instead of "High" so I don't use the top button. I got a fan controller separate anyway. The supports for bays at the top do not work well with short items such as my fan controller. I have to wedge plastic in to the back of the locking mechanism to hold it in place.

Other Thoughts: I picked up 2 extra 100mm blue LED fans, so I have the front side (intake) and 2 top slots (exhaust) filled with those plus the two 100mm blue LED fans that came with the case. Then I put a 60mm on the bottom for intake and an 80mm on the back for exhaust. All together this case is a wind tunnel. With all fans turned up its a little loud but no louder than I would expect from 6 fans running at full blast. Even under extreme load from rendering, my CPU has never tripped an temperature alarm. Wheels would have been nice. But I got a rolling support separate that works okay at best.

5 out of 5 eggsA Super Nice Case

Pros: Space and More Space.
Adjustable Brace for Power supply.
Lots of cutouts to run wires and cooling hoses.
Sides and top come off independently of each other to allow easy access.
The ability to remove drive bay caddies to install drives real helpful.
Has two exhaust fans and one large intake fan that blows on your hard drives.
At each vent hole there a several sets of holes to use different size fans.

Cons: Only one I can think of is that the blue and black bay covers on the front are hard to get in and out. Could break if you take then in and out a lots. But it wasn't worth deducting a star over.

Other Thoughts: I love this case. Same wonderful service from Newegg. I also would recommend you to use the 3 day delivery if you live on the East Coast as I do. It comes from California and to use the free shipping it would take about a week to get here.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible case, Incredible price

Pros: Full featured, reduced need for screws or screwdriver, solid, snap in place, removable drive bays. I had to do some back and forth with the primary drive and my old machine. This feature made it very easy. I'm not a gamer, but my old machine would run hot when doing video or audio editing. With the ventilation and 3 very quiet fans, I can't imagine heat ever being an issue with this case. Conveniently placed connections and controls.

Cons: None found yet

Other Thoughts: I'm not easily impressed, but the design of this case blows me away especially for a reasonable price.

4 out of 5 eggsBIG

Pros: This thing is fully loaded! Depends how you like a set up, if you want a ton of big fans making noise. This thing works for cooling everything pretty good, but if you want a quiet case with a few smaller fans and use water cooling, then you have to do some modifications like get rid of the top fans. I liked the 4 usbs (2 blue, 2 black) and the quick swap.

Cons: Not the best at keeping dust out even with the dust filters. Way too big (for me), the top and front comes off easily and that's not a good thing because you have to be aware of that or when you lift this heavy thing the top or side will come off and you will drop it.

5 out of 5 eggsLots of Space!

Pros: Plenty of HDD bays with potential RAID 10 setup. Reset button has been handy when crashes or freezes occur. Large fans keep the system nice and cool, but also rather quiet. The high and low fan buttons are nice for switching from light to heavy load tasks. Cord management underneath the motherboard is good for organization. Steel frame is very sturdy, and the position-able feet are great to add stability to the tower.
Plus, the stock fan lights are just plain cool. Not too bright so they're not distracting.

Cons: The cord management is a bit tight. I found myself in trouble every time I added a new piece of hardware. Part of this was due to my non-modular PSU, however. The plastic parts seemed to be almost too easy to come off. i.e. the front panel and the top panel. The filter underneath is also somewhat flimsy.

Other Thoughts: My micro-atx board didn't fit as well as I would have liked it to. This case is made for standard ATX board, so the mounting screw holes are placed as such. The screws that did line up managed to support my GTX 560 Ti.

5 out of 5 eggsMy Second Build

Pros: Big roomy and stable on its feet. Lots of stock airflow. Fan LED's color can be changed (red, green, blue, or loop them) or just turn them off.

Cons: None from of my inexperienced perspective, maybe the manual could have been a little better.

Other Thoughts: I've had the case for about a year and a half now. This was only my second build ever so I'm not even close to an expert. The thing is, I really had no trouble with installing everything in this case. It just worked. The fans are a little loud but I have the case sitting on my desk about 18 inches from my left ear. If it was on the floor I'm sure I wouldn't notice. On the low setting they aren't bad at all, but on high it's a little annoying. The case stays so cool with the fans on low that I never run them on high anyway. I have an older GTX 670 video card and I don't overclock either the CPU or video so I guess its not surprising that it stays cool in there.

The first case builder who builds a full tower case with an option for having the USB ports lower down on the case
will get my business. Sounds stupid but I always place my case on my desk and hate the USB cables hanging down draped over everything.

I've been thinking about building something new soon with all the new stuff coming out. Maybe for Christmas 2014. So I've been looking at a lot of cases lately trying to find a better one. So far I haven't been able to find anything out there that's much better at this price point. Some of the silent cases look appealing but not enough to spend on. I keep going back to just upgrading this one.

Hope this helps any of you inexperienced builders out there looking for a well built, roomy case. I don't think you could go to wrong with this one.

I've never done water cooling yet so I can't comment on how this case would be in that setting. Also I've seen some negative reviews here talking about the fans and lights, I've never had trouble with either.
